I heard rumors (probably from Sauce Kun but I digress) that banner phases are “phasing out” (pun intended) and they’re going to transition into a new banner system that might last for 42 days i.e. an entire patch. I don’t know the sales strategy Hoyo is pulling out on this one so feel free to share thoughts. It might affect other Hoyo games as well (HSR, ZZZ).
While on the topic of banners:
5.3 Banners (STC)

I saw intels about this too.
They will start with HI3rd and Genshin. It should be New characters for 42 days, then 21 days after rerun characters for 21 days. So for 5.3 we should have 42 days to get Mavuika or/and Citlali and 21 days for Arle/Clorinde.
I saw that this system may go to HSR and ZZZ later as well.
I just hope Chevreuse to be on Mavuika/Citlali banners since I think I’ll go for both (or Citlali at least) xP

Nah it’s phrased as though new characters last 6 weeks and halfway through that banner the reruns start
So 42 days of Mavuika and Citlali (whole patch)
21 days of Arlecchino and Clorinde (beginning halfway through)
If true, those reruns will have the best weapon banner possible for me since I really want absolution
I remember it was first announced for ZZZ because leakers said both 1.4 characters would run simultaneously, then the leaks for the other two games came too
