Item Story
"Must my life wither like fresh flowers?" "Will all my blazing glory burn out into grey ash in the end?" "Will even my illustrious name eventually fade into shadow?" "Even if it is as brilliant as a blooming flower, and light as a song." She knew not how many times she had crossed the mountain's spine, just as she could no longer recall how many winters she had endured. Every year, before the Embercore Flowers bloomed, the mistress of the mountain mines would come alone to the wilds of Tequemecan Valley, Following ancient tradition, she offered dew-kissed flowers to those friends who could not witness the coming of dawn. The heart that was once cold and hard as obsidian had been eroded and softened by time, But anyone who could receive that warmth, no matter who, had already long since returned to the Sacred Flame. Until the rumbling of the mines and the song of the artisans working shook her awake from her bitter memories, The representative of the Chiefs suddenly realized that the echoes of the Nanatzcayan had already reached this place. The once deserted, lonely mountains now resounded with echoes of laughter and peals of joy like ringing bells. It was what the young once dreamed of during the years when they were still hidden from those around them, Belonging to countless beings who struggled to overthrow the usurpers, and it belonged to the future, the quickening of civilization. And so the representative, who was by no means still young, began to laugh, and though in those days she had written it off as a mere prank, She sang the song he had once taught her, but that she had been too embarrassed to ever sing to him. Like a tambourine adorned with flowers, a tale ornamented with tears, responding to the melody echoing amidst the mountains, Like stone engraved and echoing peaks, as though tempered by the fires of the forge, gave their blessings to all beings, Converge, disperse, in ashes be reborn, for flames born anew, and the blazing dawn. In the thousands of years after authority was returned to the tribes, countless stories were scattered in the moonlight, The ballads once kept by "Peace-Reforger" Sakkuk now long lost. Yet that resolute, sharp rhythm that has been passed down to this day with every stroke of hammer on chisel, After all, that burning rhythm is the blood that has flowed through the mines since ancient times, And the sparks showering forth from the hammer's blows are the song dedicated to those who resist, a melody that will never wither. "Must my life wither like fresh flowers?" "When all is quiet chaos, whither will my heart go?" "None stay forever in this world, we but briefly pass through." "But here, there were once flowers — here, there was once song." |

So basically the only difference between this thing and craftable sword is 25.6% teamwide bonus dmg buff which… doesn’t feel like much(?) It’s roughly 13% dmg increase for the main damage dealer (46.6% goblet and 40% Xilonen’s set) and with further buffs it would only lose more of its value. Personally I’d go for C2 cause this looks like a waste of pulls imo.
I tend to agree, although (assuming you’re at C0) getting to C2 would cost on average 183 wishes, while a weapon’s R1 costs on average only 80 wishes. I could see an argument for the weapon over the constellations if someone has a Chiori that could also benefit from the weapon AND primogems are in short supply (e.g., reserved for the impending Pyro Archon’s arrival).
what a bizzare thing… 542 atk and 83% def… while nilou’s is 66% hp… (+20 % ok but it’s passive)
considering that set have 46,6% each i wonder why they broke this pseudo rule
a max lvl hp and atk sands is at 46.6% , Er sands is at 51.8%, and a def sands is at 58.3%. this isnt really unusual as cinnabar spindle has 69% def for a 4-star weapon
thats a lot of def holy shit
This or C2? which is worth it?
I would definitely say c2 is stronger. Her buffs from c2 are stronger and it will allow you to give a crit based weapon for more damage. Not using this weapon also makes her easier to build as you won’t need to aim for an incredibly high 3,200 defence. That being said; c2 will cost a fair bit more wishes to get.
well,i think this guy is totally for the buff instead of doing damage.if the artifacts are def-def-def(58.3%*3) and u have some defend on the flower and feather,it’s pretty easy the get 3200 def not gonna lie (this weapon also gives 20% of defend and cost like nothing bc it only need u to tap ur left click 2 times).and then,c2 needs atleast 2 times the amount of gems then weapon(u need 3 of this guy and each of her need like 60~80 pull not including if u lose the 50/50,but this weapon only needs the maximum of 160 pulls to get it).It depends on how many gems you left or how many money u can spend on her tbh.u still need some gems left for Mavuikai have to say.
what a pity the crit buff is not for the team
good hoyo is never too greedy with this; it would’ve been a stronger bait to make us pull for the weapon (whic h is very good already no need to say it, but ofc with even crit buff…)
In which universe getting crit is better than getting DMG bonus? The bonus is exquisite.
bruh
ofc he meant it’s a pity the crit is only for herself and not for the whole team as well, not to replace dmg, but to give them both
Actually solid weapon for Chiori… especially people complaining she was not providing enough buff for the team.
That one “geo furina” user will be happy
it seems that nobody is noticing how this weapon gives 82.69% crit dmg, which is the first case in the game
it’s very curious how they broke this trend, 542atk – 88,2% dmg
yes? because it gives def% not crit?
its defense lmao
It’s 82.69% bonus DEF, not CD. You get extra CD from the passive for every 1,000 DEF the equipping character has for a max of 51.2%… on R5.
The substat is DEF% not CDMG%
The weapon does not give critdmg as substat… Its defense%, you get crit rate and critdmg from the passive…
it is 82.69% def…
Because it gives DEF% not crit dmg
Reading skills: -100%.
is the crit rate/dmg buff only for her or the whole team ?
Only herself; just ignore it, it’s very insignificant
How much better is this than r5 the new craftable sword cuz that gives like 100% def but obviously missing the team buffs this has, so i wonder how big the difference is
Assuming your party already have like 90% elem dmg bonus and her support set adds another 40% dmg bonus you have 130% dmg bonus. Sword adds 25%. So this adds about 19% more damage to team. With furina in party it won’t be such a significant bonus anymore. But it increases all elemental dmg. Even dendro
So at lst I can throw aways Noelle’s Whiteblind for this.
this is a sword, not a claymore
True, I judged it as a claymore by its design and only read its effect.
Nah, it’s definitely a polearm.
Looks like fisticuffs to me
