thanks
when drip marketing is supposed to be at this round?
it’s always been at around 1pm London time if I’m not wrong (i consider europe) but it’s not here, tf? i don’t see anything around
since you are in London then the drip marketing will appear on November 19th at 00:00
Drip marketing is always on a Monday, usually around the time when the game prompts for a pre-install of the newest version.
So on the 18th of November.
I wish every Bow character can aim in the air like Ororon. Ganyu and Tighnari can benefit from this lol
But hoyosh[REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [DATA EXPUNGED]
I wish bow aiming in Genshin was fun in general, slow walking while charging an arrow for ages doesn’t feel great (Tighnari one of the good ones)
Same, the catalyst users were also all very boring imo, till wriothsley came out, and a little bit of blastoise.
Even aiming in air won’t help charge shot bow characters. Playing Wanderer made me realize that nearly all enemies have an aerial attack, so archers will still get interrupted while charging. The issue is charge attacks don’t reward most bow users with enough damage for something that makes you really vulnerable.
hello hoyo, i know i ask too much and this will be super duper expensive for your pockets… so i understand why don’t do it.. but please, when you become billionaire, can you please add a box where I can type charas name, instead of mothafoka searching their icons every time?
thanks and i love you
There is a sort option in the game though. They’ll add a search bar when they reach 200+ characters or so xd
but i don’t get about reactions: if superconduct is buffed, it doesnt mean it increases that 40% def shred of whatever right? i saw somewhere it is a physical dps buff but it looks a bullshit
It’s only the Reaction DMG that got buffed. The DEF shred remains unchanged.
damn so for a psysical buff we have to wait for snensz’… the fk is called that last region, but oh well
i wonder when they’ll uncover what’s behind the censored word in agnidus agate gemstone
4 years with that grey rectangle, “achieved –‘s truth”… who? what?
Xbalanque.
Reminds me when the Dendro 5* Gemstone had a different old description before 3.0 came out. I forgot how it went though.
what are you talkin about, there are no dendro gemstone before 3.0
some iterm description changed after archon quest chapter 3 act 5 and thats got released on 3.2 ver
A question about the Natlan gacha weapons with exploratory effects (Flower Wreathed Feathers, Sturdy Bone, Waveriding Whirl). Can you stack their effects with other Passive Talents with the same functionality?
Say you have a character with a sprinting Stamina consumption passive and a character that wields a Sturdy Bone (Decreases Sprint or Alt. Sprint Stamina consumption by 15%). You can effectively gain a 35% decrease in Stamina consumption when sprinting, which is increased to a 50% decrease with a Stamina-related food buff.
i guess it stacks because the passive talents say that they do not stack with same passive talents but weapon effects are not passive talents?
for the most part yes, I’m just going to use Dehya/Chiroi’s movement increases and double amneo as an example, both of those movement speed bonuses count, jean’s does as well.
I’d imagine that the weapons would as well unless of course it’s stated to not, I think chiroi’s doesn’t count with say deyha’s at the same time.
hi !
am i crazy or i don’t see any doomposter here since this 5.2 patch
did the site’s fanbase suddenly change to a happy and friendly environment
0__0
Next patch will be very interesting indeed
what’s so fun?
It’s funny how in the new Sabzeruz Festival event, almost everyone is literally silent in the EN dub, aside from Paimon, Cyno and a lot of the NPCs. I think the reason why is because I saw something online about EN VAs not showing up to voice characters to protest about “AI voices gonna take over my job” or something like that.
All of the other dubs seem fine though. I would go and experience the event in other dubs but I cba.
The problem with English VAs is that they are too self-confident in what they can and cannot do, aside from a few professional VAs who know their place. They have unionized almost a hundred VAs because of the AI, but in truth, it is simply because they don’t want to let any new people into their little club. In 2020, when Covid hit and everyone stayed inside for the lockdown, the VA industry got new faces, simply because the old ones could not gatekeep them from entering the industry. After the situation normalised (early 2022), the same people felt confident again and began to gatekeep again. Only the thought of a new person entering the English VA industry drives them crazy. There’s no debate about this, they are using AI as a scapegoat to reinforce current positions and demand higher pay. While in Japan and China, the AI thing has been already discussed and agreed on, American-based studios are… something else.
Summary: The AI is not the problem, greedy and too demanding VAs are the real problem. You don’t hate them enough.
i wish there was a AI VA for shitmon
i started to hate its VA at day1 and i never had an opportunity to change idea
always hate that high pitched, stupid, innatural voice for what’s supposed to be a little girl; while like this it (and i can’t use “she”) seems a retard nagging being which just talks all the time
btw the worse thing to me about voicing issues, is that the traveler never speaks, and I’ve never seen hoyo giving a reason
maybe you know it, but i don’t want you, i want them giving an explanation
millions of players and like everybody finds it totally naturala, as if having a main chara which doesn’t speak is a normal thing (or better, he/she speaks sometimes, and that make it even more retard; because just tell me a rational reason of why rarely justifying it and most of the time not)
While you are mostly correct AI anything is a blight. I’ve seen enough lazy af mods for other games with AI as the main focus. It detracts from the experience without a true voice. Much like the deafing silence does, I know it wasn’t the EN VA for a character in Witcher, but one of the va’s was ai voiced. It was strange. And not to mention the use of ai on dead people in movies instead of just letting things be.
TDLR: Greed is a factor and the gatekeeping as well, but AI is just as bad.
If you think the VAs are the problem here you should really look more into the issue before spouting nonsense. They’re fighting for their livelihood because US corporations want to exploit them as much as possible. It’s a problem with late stage capitalism, not the VA’s understanding their rights correctly.
The union VAs are on strike because many of the big studios want to not have to pay their actors.
Games and TV shows would be far worse without the contributions of talented and hard working VAs. I don’t know if you’ve heard the AI voice rip-offs but they sound awful and make it impossible to enjoy the content they’re used in.
The Natlan Archon Quest, and the Sabseruz festival being Partially, and Mostly unvoiced respectively really sucked, I’m not happy about it either, but the ones you should be directing your ire towards are the corporations that would rather make an extra buck, than good content.
“US corporations want to exploit them”
Bro, how do you exploit someone as lazy as English VA? They are doing the bare minimum already thanks to the unions, how do you exploit the floppiest out of all floppies? Be real, AI is not all knowing and useful as The Terminator movie tells you. Just look at the Gemini Google search 😂
Google AI fetches and regurgitates information for convenience, and it’s progressed to be… competent
Generative AI is an entirely different thing, and thereve been numerous examples of people’s art, voices and likenesses being sampled to train generative AI without their consent. Using AI to make a celebrity say silly things is one thing but when companies start using it in place of human voices it means fewer and fewer opportunities for these real people, hence dissatisfaction, look at AI in the art space for the past years, progress is being made but it’s still a problem
And blaming individual over corporation in almost any situation is… brave.
I mistook Google Gemini but don’t feel like extending the comment a ton so disregard the first paragraph
guys is there an old player who’s not farming anymore the new domain, because is simply tired to get shit back?
idk but this actually helped me to quit gambling, because i don’t want to give my money to this crap casino.. i want to build my charas but i have to waste my life in farming this shit
i got a bunch of mediocre stuff, and everything rolled bad
i simply skip natlan charas, because i dont’ want the frustration to have them but it’s impossibile to get a damn build
this system is rly fucked up
I feel like this question has been asked before lmao
well i saw many people saying they’re tired of farming actually
just to have fresh answers lol
i know i’m not alone, i mean, it’s sick thinking there are many people willing to do it, it’s a cancer bro
I just wanna ask, why play a gacha game where each year new mechanics are added to the game and certain characters do these better than those before them?
why would that be the case I wonder? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
You only really have 3 options in this game economy they have built:
1) Keep farming despite it not being fun. This allows you to get the best gear for the purpose of more easily clearing endgame content.
2) Stop farming and instead buy more duplicates of chars/weapons to make up for bad relics or gear so you still do well in endgame.
3) Stop farming, use mediocre pieces you already have and accept that your performance in endgame may degrade over time.
Pick one. I chose option 3 in case you were wondering. There’s always a tradeoff whether it’s effort, money or performance.
haha I receive suggestions but not the answer I actually asked,
but thanks anyway guys
maybe there’s no someone “like me” here around, but yeah i guess there are many poeple here and there who just did the same
what a pity that the game is ruined by this shit
but anyway I know private servers exists, and for me this is a more than valid reason to use them
they can’t replace the “real” game, and typing commands is bad as hell, but better than endless farming
Well said. I have recently chosen option 2 because it reduces farming twice over: obviously you have fewer characters, and the characters you do have can do with weaker artifacts. A slight nuance to my strategy here is to basically just get Xilonen and the Pyro Archon in Natlan, then carry forward my primogems into Snezhnaya. Reason: I am not super interested in characters whose kits are partially restricted to a geographical region. Powercreep is obviously happening, and the last thing I need is for my characters to get weaker RELATIVELY as well as weaker OBJECTIVELY after leaving Natlan.
How many time are you going to bring this up?
yeah i simply skip most new characters except maybe some supports here and there, if they bring an upgrade that is
for example xilonen may be good, but she’s an alternative instead of an upgrade to my kazuha that already has 200% er and a bit more than 1k em, so i skipped her
her healing or crystallization shield is not enough to be an upgrade, literally just get good lmao
but yeah, farming is so boring and bad that i just tend to look more for reasons to not pull new characters than pretend to be excited for every new character that i wont get to play for months until their brand new artifact set from the brand new domain decides to drop whats needed to build them correctly
Playing Genshin since 1.4 with no break, and I still enjoy pulling for character I like and building them. So I’m still fine with artifact farming and upgrading. I don’t have top tiers builds 1% on Akasha, but my builds are solid and I enjoy playing my characters =3
I don’t feel like giving money to a casino (I only take welkin and BP, my way to thanks the game for their hard work) and I don’t feel like loosing time farming shit since I enjoy the game and my characters. Sometimes I drop good stuff, most of the time I have either bad stuff of stuff upgrading crap, but it’s the game, nothing surprising.
After playing HSR since release, I can tell that Genshin’s artifact system is refreshing compared to HSR one. =3 Having an offpiece is really great. I got 2 characters stuffed in Genshin while still haven’t finished one in HSR. And with all I farmed in HSR for a character to be great (Feixiao), I still didn’t have enough in the second relic set of the domain for a second character to be better than OKish (Rappa).
For Natlan I only have Xilonen but she have a Scroll set for support and an Obsidian for DPS. Next will be Chasca, I’m on her artifact preparation for now and I’m doing fine (nothing amazing but still usable and still going for better pieces).
