Item Story
"Kreuzlied, have you ever heard the pipes call out in the dusk?" "Have you heard a voice in the wind sing: farewell, goodbye forever?" "We shall not weep for you, for the night breeze will bear our tears away." "Yes, comrade, it shall bear our tears away." They say that there was once a traveling musical troupe who conspired to assassinate the ruling house. Among them was a renegade noble scion named Kreuzlied. A tune was written for him after the plot failed. His real name was, of course, not "Kreuzlied," and has been lost to time. The word Kreuzlied itself used to mean "The Quartering Song" in the old tongue. In those days when the nights grew long and the dark hung low, quartering was a cruel punishment that left its victims begging for the release of death. Deserters, bandits, rebels, and makers of moonshine would be executed in public in this manner, while the ruling aristocracy basked in their dreadful cries. In those days when one could not see the light of dawn, "Kreuzlied" became a byword for those who rose up and failed. But in this way, it also became the rallying cry for rebellion. The Kreuzlied of the traveling troupe has had their name lost to time, yes. But it matters not, for by then, Kreuzlied had already taken on countless monikers carried on the wind in song: "The Nameless Shepherd." "Imunlaukr." "Midnight Rogue." "Dawnlight." "Gunnhildr." "Ragnvindr." Till at last the final Kreuzlied would awaken from a thousand-year slumber, Answering the small cry of a foreign maiden who had drifted to this land, Just as he had once been born from the wish of a certain youth... ... The songs that told of Kreuzlied would be fashionable for a time. But in the end, they would leave the lips of men, for in the time after the darkness, there was no longer any need for this name. "Kreuzlied, have you ever seen the horizon turn white?" "Have you heard the maiden sing to the wind: farewell, goodbye forever?" "The morning sun has kissed away my tears, and told me that dawn has broken," "O my lover, the dawn, it has broken." |

It took for Mihoyo 5 long years to make an actual signature weapon for Venti.
@Flying Coin
And guess what? they’re still not smart enough to make it decently good compared to the previous one, which clearly is polar star
So, when out of the field for 3 seconds, you get a full buff (60% max on R1). But when on the field, this buff decreases by 10% every 1 second. When we keep hitting the enemy while off-field or on-field, we gain this buff by 10% depending on the DMG types (Normal, Elemental, Burst). This should be pretty good on Tartaglia, right? Since he deals all of these DMG types.
Other good characters that are good for this bow are probably Fischl, Yoimiya, Yelan, and Sethos.
Do I understand its passive effect correctly?
You’re misunderstanding. It’s not “out of the field” but “out of the battle”.
This bow’s effect can only be used by Venti & Yoimiya because no other characters hit fast enough to active its effect.
Idk about Sethos & Child’s attack speed, but Fischl E is too slow, and Yelan Q doesn’t count cause she hits 5 times at once, while this bow has 0.1s cooldown
what they do NOT invent to ACTUALLY buff/fix venti
people are just talking shit
if venti’s burst is a massive dogshit, no weapon or durin will fix it
why? because no aim and no pulling large enemies. no hammer is devastating if it can’t hit its target
but this is too difficult to understand i see
Real, All 100k+ dps sheet Venti are all massive copium.
The moment the enemy run out of his burst, he lost like 50k dps.
The buff didnt fix any of Venti issue why he becomes shit like not buffing like Kazuha’s, Enemy immunities to crowd control.
“The moment the enemy run out of his burst, he lost like 50k dps.”
And? Your point? Stop playing the wrong game.
Ngga tried to act smart while answering nothing 🤓☝️
Hang yourself, little Ngga.
His burst was optimized to center above the nearest enemy by the way.
So in summary it’s a 60% buff to NA/E/Q dmg that has to stack up while on-field and decreases while off-field.
And with 2 Hexenzirkel characters in the team (doesn’t have to be the equiper) it’s for all dmg types, stacks faster and also stacks off field.
Thats pretty solid, considering that almost all 5* weapons are extremely character limited. This one works with mostly anybody.
This is wild to think, but I think this bow may actually be Venti’s new Signature weapon (replacing the Elegy of the End). Since in 6.2/Lunar 3, when he gets the Hexenzirkel faction buffs, he transitions from a purely off-field crowd control support to an on-field main DPS/driver with the ability to make his best in class crowd control even better.
because it is his new Sig weapon
@domex
I won’t be surprised if this is a hint of something like “watch us buffing old charas”
= pay to get new material for them
From what I heard they doing the same to zhongli so this could be happening to specific characters because either their previous weapon just dosen’t work on their current role like venti going from an off field dps to on field, zhongli who’s kit has change so much from first version their original weapon just doesn’t fit them any more
“pay to get new material for them” wrong. Stop typing rubbish.
