Item Story
"There is an appointed time for all things to live and die, just like the ceaseless cycles of night and dawn." "May the stories within this lamp grant you dreams worth looking forward to." At the moment the palace crumbled, the girl who had never known "light" heard her whisper inside a dream. Through a mist of tears, the child who had long decided to depart in dreams caught sight of her gentle benevolence. In the reflection of the serene moonlight, the verdant lamp told of the silhouette of the stars and an everlasting melody— A dancer with emerald eyes planting light kisses onto silk dripping with nectar, brightly colored fish pirouetting in pearly clear waters, A moonlight musician guiding the Jinn's torches, singing songs of the gilded fortress in a sea of sand and pomegranate-colored strings, An astute sailor setting off on a grand voyage, seeking nothing else but the singing voice from a dream and the blooming gardens on the far shore. The fallen palace illuminated by silent light, encircled by breathtaking dreamscapes from a thousand worlds, The soft forest breeze clearing away the dust gathered on the homeward path, guiding lost children away from the palace, no longer tranquil as it had been. As the dawning light filtered through fragmented spaces between leaves, that verdant lamp which had told stories of a thousand nights' dreams began to fade: It was only when she looked back, standing between dreams and reality, that the blind girl realized that there was no return, for dawn had broken. Thereafter, the lamp inside the dream never flickered again, and the flow of time swallowed up the dreams of bygone nights, But the birds still sang as they embraced the break of dawn. They sang of the stories that blossomed brilliantly like a field of flowers, Bringing courage, hope, and happiness to the children who had never had the chance to witness a dream, Weaving a never-ending song of a thousand nights, lighting up the moments before the long-awaited daybreak. After traversing a thousand dreams, until the nightingale no longer sang, until the fading sun fell beneath the horizon once again, The traveler saw at journey's end that verdant lamp, that faraway homeland of old, Where the dew-covered rose still swayed softly in the moonlit breeze, waiting for her to tell a new story: "Though the memories of past nights have all but faded, we shall continue to sing songs of praise for the sweet dreams that have yet to unfold." |

Ok so while the pipe of the lamp looks like gnosis, weapon also resembles aranara being reversed 180°
What a piece of design
Anyone have any idea if the EM it gives party members is on a per stack basis? or is it just a plain 40 em?
Plain 40 EM for each “A Thousand Floating Dreams” equipped in the party excluding their own.
i hecking love prism as a ascension mats, love them being UNDERGROUND and locked behind world quest, love that both nilou and nahida weap requires them DJJSBSHXJJSJS
I got all my mat for Khaj-Nisut just by exploring, didn’t go underground once, didn’t start 3.1 quest yet (lack of time)
you have two weeks left to do one quest, it’s not that hard
one day with unskipable dialog is unbearable what are you? unhuman?
proposal: lie down on your bed, play through the quest on your phone. You either end insomnia or get through the quest. Win-win
I got Key and Xiphos on the same day. It’s definitely been a journey trying to level them without the desert quests completed. :d
huh? there are plenty above ground that are not locked behind any quests
Assuming I pull for this weapon and using a Deepwood set, would EM/EM/EM or EM/DMG/Crit be better for Nahida? Or some hybrid of the two? I have a nice EM goblet waiting for her but I’m not sure if can use it.
EM/EM/Crit is her best build for now afaik since building EM increases dmg bonus so yes your EM goblet is very much useable.
EM/DMG/Crit would be better if her EM is sufficient(1000).
it’s absurdly unlikely to hit 1,000 em without goblet and circlet without an extremely limited team comp, and ridiculous luck on your artifacts.
better to go for EM/EM/CRIT, since that leaves you with damage buffs and crit chsnce
It’s actually not that hard with all the passives from artifact set and other sources accounted for.
If you want to meme it, you can even throw Kazuha or Sucrose into the mix and it’ll easily blow out to 1.2k EM without any effort
So the passive is essentially the reverse of Gilded dreams, making it so that no matter what team comp you’re using you still get the same benefits.
It’s less about maxing damage and more about maxing flexibility and ease of use I guess
the DMG% goblet would only be prioritized if you’re using onfield spread and it has much higher crit over the EM one. For off-field, EM also improves her off-field crit rate so it has exponential value.
If I have 4 copies of this weapons (in my dream), I want to try it on this team Nahida + Sucrose + Yae + Other Catalyst (Maybe Baizhu if he’s a dendro healer) for Aggravate team with permanent 120 EM buff from this weapon
If you had 4 copies of this weapon…. If my grandma had nuts, would she be my grandpa?
If you want to preview 120 EM buff you can just slap an instructor 4p into someone. One character’s numbers will be lower, but you will have your 120 EM experience.
For easily 400 less wishes. lol
This looks like an upside-down Aranara.
Thanks, I can’t unsee it now, and that’s not a bad thing
ahhh, you made my day! ?
LMAO
now that you mention it
I’mma pull this lamp and give it to Heizo because screw y’all 😀
brooooooooo i was thinking the same thing lmao
the passive is garbage compared to freedom sworn
Freedom sworn passive work from reactions, has to be stacked in order to work,
have cooldawn and two of its effect cant coexist (more then one copy in the group).
Floating Dreams passive is permanet buff and can stack from different members.
Thats why its better to not refine this catalyst but have several copies instead.
If it’s true that Floating Dreams and Kagura Verity will run together, then that banner is the best chance to get the best weapon for Nahida.
No chance
childe + yae will run together, floating dreams is supposed to be with yoimiya weapon
Welp, my dream to have both weapons running together is now… floating.
I believe Yae is going to rerun on the second half of 3.2, so Nahida will run with Yoimiya (and therefore the banner will run Thundering Pulse with Nahida’s weapon)
Yoimiya’s rerunning again? Didn’t she have her rerun literally at 2.8
yep, and yet again nobody is going to pull for her apart from the people who still for whatever reason want her.
EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE HAS BEEN PLACED BETWEEN / WITH OR AFTER A CHARACTER WHO’S BETTER AND MORE POPULAR THAN HER
it makes 0 sense whatsoever.
First it was ayaka then raiden
then it was Kazuha and Tighnari / Zhongli
NOW SHE’S ALONGSIDE NAHIDA??
this character is treated so poorly it’s insane LMFAO
I pray that this comes true bro. birthday cake and teaset would be so good together
I’d love it if they started a trend of running two same-type weapons on the same banner (like Key + PJC now). From their end, it doesn’t even sound like such a bad idea. It’d lower their sales from people cashing in on 2/2 fate points if the other 50/50 weapon is also useful on the same character, but potentially draw in more cautious players to the weapon banner.
I kind of hate that this weapon has the opposite passive to Gilded Dreams. IMO, that set is perfectly logical in comparison. If you’re using more characters of different elemental types, you’re more likely to be doing reactions – have an EM buff. If you’re using more characters of the same elemental type, you’re more likely to be doing raw damage – have a buff for damage (DMG% in this case, ATK% for Gilded).
dendro, dendro, other, other . which is probably the team comp you’re going to want with Nahida. Though kagura’s verity is probably a solid substitute for her. depends on your team build and your choice of role for nahida. This is a solid weapon for catalyst user’s in general.
Thousand Floating Dreams R0:
(32×3)=96 EM + 264 EM(weapon base)=360 EM
(10×3)=30% ele dmg
Kagura’s Verity R0:
(12×3)=36% Skill dmg
(12×3)=36% ele dmg
66.15% Crit dmg (weapon base)
With Dendro-Dendro-Other-Other, you will only get 36 EM and 20% Element DMG., I.e 1 stack of the former and 2 stacks of the latter. Not 3 stacks of each.
its only 12% elemental damage bonus on kagura’s verity
