Hunter's VigilHunter's Vigil
Preparing her pistolet, she enters the "Night Vigil" state, using steel and shot together. In this state, Clorinde's Normal Attacks will be transformed into "Swift Hunt" pistolet attacks, and the DMG dealt is converted into Electro DMG that cannot be overridden by infusions, and she will be unable to use Charged Attacks. Using her Elemental Skill will transform it into "Impale the Night": Perform a lunging attack, dealing Electro DMG. The DMG done through the aforementioned method is considered Normal Attack DMG.

Swift Hunt
· When her Bond of Life is equal to or greater than 100% of her max HP: Performs a pistolet shot.
· When her Bond of Life is less than 100%, firing her pistolet will grant her Bond of Life, with the amount gained based on her max HP. The shots she fires can pierce opponents, and DMG dealt to opponents in their path is increased.

Impale the Night
The current percentage value of Clorinde's Bond of Life determines its effect:
· When the Bond of Life value is 0%, perform a normal lunging strike;
· When the Bond of Life value is less than 100% of her max HP, Clorinde is healed based on the Bond of Life Value, and the AoE of the lunging attack and the DMG dealt is increased;
· When the value of the Bond of Life is equal to or greater than 100% of her max HP, use Impale the Night: Pact. The healing multiplier is increased, and the attack AoE and DMG dealt by the lunge is increased even further.

In addition, when Clorinde is in the Night Vigil state, healing effects other than Impale the Night will not take effect and will instead be converted into a Bond of Life that is a percentage of the healing that would have been received.

Clorinde will exit the "Night Vigil" state when she leaves the field.

Arkhe: Ousia
Periodically, when Clorinde's Swift Hunt shots strike opponents, a Surging Blade will fall on their position, dealing Ousia-aligned Electro DMG.

Though the evil that lurked in the shadows of the night had been purged across thousands of years, a shadow that the light could not reach clouded human hearts.
Even now, the warning left by the Golden Hunter is etched into her memory: Those of the Night Vigil, carrying aloft lit candles against the blackness, have greater need still to remain vigilant. Be not corrupted by the cold dark.

It is said the legacy of the ancient art of resisting non-human beings with but a mortal body can be traced back to the Lochknights who resisted the Remurian Empire.
Be that as it may, so long as one can find a way to control the level of force used, it's not as if it cannot be used in duels against ordinary opponents.

    • They are correct. Sometimes, the developers allocate the remaining weekly boss materials to new characters, ensuring that each boss material is assigned to at least 3 or 4 characters. Yelan and Dori are known examples of this, as they both use Azhdaha’s materials. We’ll probably have to wait until Natlan to see characters that use Arlecchino’s weekly materials.

  2. Since their quicken teams are pretty similar do you think Clorinde or Al-Haitham is the better quicken DPS?
    Personally I have a quicken team set up and whichever one I pull will be getting jade cutter (If I choose Al-Haitham I’ll eventually upgrade him to quickbloom) rn I’m leaning towards Clorinde

    • At the time of the release, Al-Haitham did not interest me, after I got Bai Zhu and the double dendro teams became available to me (I ignore Nahida, I do not play a Collei, Dendro mc was the only active character) I tried to manage hyperbloom for Bai Zhu+Dendro mc, and I generally like it, but I want something more dynamic, and just Al-Haitham is what I need. (Especially since I have an signature weapon xd). I do not know when Al-Haitham will be in the banner, I assume that it will not be in the next two patches, so I will try to pick up Clorinda. (And also a very big desire to take away from c2 Bai Zhu, since I love him very much, but I’m afraid that then I’ll lose 50/50 on Clorinda …)
      Regarding the preferred dps in quicken, information about this can be found on the Internet, Clorinda’s commands have already been calculated and just compare them with Al-Haitham.

    • Spread is having a greater DMG Bonus (for Spread, 1.25×Level Multiplier \ for Aggravate, 1.15×Level Multiplier) for quicken reactions,
      so if other conditions are equal, then the Dendro DPS character will always have an advantage over Electro one.
      However, Electro characters have a tendency to have higher speed\frequency in their attacks, which is compensating for said difference.

      Between Clorinde and Alhaitham, most people will find Clorinde easier to play,
      and while Alhaitham can output higher damage, he is more dependent on the player’s personal skill.

      • Alhaitham’s EM scaling is a double-edged sword;
        on the one hand, you naturally want to build EM on a Dendro character anyway;
        on the other hand, he is a DPS and wants CR and CD, a reasonable amount of ER, and ATK for his normals and planges,
        which all leads to a harder time building him for optimal results.

        Whereas with Clorinde and Keqing, you have an easier time building a good crit ratio and the option to ignore ER completely and rely on EM buffs from team members.

          • Please enlighten me. What sort of delusion do I have?
            What exactly do you disagree with?
            And please, don’t throw random words like that; it’s pathetic.

        • Alhaitham is a character who you could ignore giving atk and er. Reason being, his normal atk’s multipliers ain’t bad but isn’t great either; making them a small portion of his damage. His ult can be funneled by another teammate with the favonius series and is used to generate chisel-light mirrors and is not used for damage. Hence er and atk doesn’t massively contribute to his overall dps. I’m aware that his sig weapon buff his normal atk but that would be like saying the same thing with Wriothesley c1 where he became more of a charge dps rather than normal atk dps even though his base kit only buff is normal. And that is why I can call you a delusion monkey since you don’t truly understand what my MAN needs even though you have him as your profile.

    • Personally, I will choose Clorinde. I see it this way:
      1. I don’t really like both Clorinde and Arlecchino visually, but I like Arlecchino visually more.
      2. I like the gameplay and kit of both equally.
      3. I like the Q animations in both versions, but Clorinde’s Q is a bit bigger.
      4. I don’t like the Arlecchino animations at all, as well as the scythe theme. Arlecchino’s E is unremarkable. I am not interested in NA outside the counter at Clorinde, I really like E visually, but the sounds are terrible (I hope they will be corrected, look for animations with sounds on the Internet and see for yourself).
      5. I do not like the pyro element.
      6. I like the electro element.

    • You are on Clorinde’s page so I’ll say get Clorinde lol.

      Jk aside, I still prefer Clorinde than Arle because:
      – I prefer Clorinde aesthetically.
      – She is voiced by Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa – AoT, 2B – Nier, Violet – Violet Evergarden).
      – I like guns.
      – I already have fully build Hu Tao and Yoimiya. I don’t need another pyro dps anytime soon.
      – I really like guns.

    • Arlecchino is really good and can easily solo content. She’s also badass and more relevant to the overall story. I’d go with her since you know 100% that you’re getting someone useful in all situations.

      • The go to Aggravate team would be along the lines of
        Clorinde Nahida Kazuha Fischl

        If you don’t have Nahida then the usual replacements of Collei/ DMC/ Yaoyao/ Kirara exist, since quicken doesn’t require much dendro to maintain I’d prefer Collei if she has a couple cons
        Kazuha can be reasonably replaced by Sucrose if you don’t have him

  4. Would absolutely get her but for the weapon, after I hit 210 pity for Arlec’s weapon, so NO.

    Haran, Mistspilt, Jade. I got all those universal weapon for her so hard pass for weapon.

  5. I really don’t like the sounds in the Wild Hunt state, the shots sound like lashes, the jerk feels like a squeak, there are not enough electric sounds familiar to the electro characters of the game.

    • nah Green that’s mean Anemo, and Anemo DPS is boring because for max potential you will stack with Faruzan forever in your party building, with Electro make her have more variety to building team, plus at least the end of the day Clorinde still can get new skins in future although you need waiting way longer

      • Green doesn’t 100% mean anemo but she was most likely
        But in terms of the design I just miss the various elements like hanging coat
        Also the potential albedo ties since “Captain R” was supposedly a mondstadt char
        Also she could’ve been an anemo support, perhaps smth for normal/charged attackers since those are so abundant in fontaine
        Let’s say a character who increases NA/CA dmg. can consistently swirl and increases movement spd. instead of just letting Kazuha rule anemo forever

      • AI enhancement and AI generation are 2 different things
        This one in particular idk but there were lots of AI enhanced concept arts leaked
        That’s the most well known but there was a sheet of concept arts iirc

    • I still have all of them saved, that leak was massive with cool FK refs and designs, with alot of design variants. She was cooler i agree. The version with torn clothes plus bags under eyes and dead stare.
      Her finalazed hat is straight up ass though, it looks good only from a front view. Otherwise you quckly realised its proportions is of a fucking iron on her forhead.

        • I was wrong, (looked up the folder) the torn one was already blue. I somehow always end up liking discarded elements of consepts more than finished. Green had cooler sillouette, dead eyes and torn clothes of the blue, wih the attire and gold nuances of a pink one. It has to be a psychology thing. LOL

    • I think yes Clori will be better on Aggravate scenario, but Cyno has never been designed for be an aggravate imo at max quickbloom but he is an Hyperbloom character. But I suggest you Cyno King of hell.
