Hunter's VigilHunter's Vigil
Preparing her pistolet, she enters the "Night Vigil" state, using steel and shot together. In this state, Clorinde's Normal Attacks will be transformed into "Swift Hunt" pistolet attacks, and the DMG dealt is converted into Electro DMG that cannot be overridden by infusions, and she will be unable to use Charged Attacks. Using her Elemental Skill will transform it into "Impale the Night": Perform a lunging attack, dealing Electro DMG. The DMG done through the aforementioned method is considered Normal Attack DMG.

Swift Hunt
· When her Bond of Life is equal to or greater than 100% of her max HP: Performs a pistolet shot.
· When her Bond of Life is less than 100%, firing her pistolet will grant her Bond of Life, with the amount gained based on her max HP. The shots she fires can pierce opponents, and DMG dealt to opponents in their path is increased.

Impale the Night
The current percentage value of Clorinde's Bond of Life determines its effect:
· When the Bond of Life value is 0%, perform a normal lunging strike;
· When the Bond of Life value is less than 100% of her max HP, Clorinde is healed based on the Bond of Life Value, and the AoE of the lunging attack and the DMG dealt is increased;
· When the value of the Bond of Life is equal to or greater than 100% of her max HP, use Impale the Night: Pact. The healing multiplier is increased, and the attack AoE and DMG dealt by the lunge is increased even further.

In addition, when Clorinde is in the Night Vigil state, healing effects other than Impale the Night will not take effect and will instead be converted into a Bond of Life that is a percentage of the healing that would have been received.

Clorinde will exit the "Night Vigil" state when she leaves the field.

Arkhe: Ousia
Periodically, when Clorinde's Swift Hunt shots strike opponents, a Surging Blade will fall on their position, dealing Ousia-aligned Electro DMG.

Though the evil that lurked in the shadows of the night had been purged across thousands of years, a shadow that the light could not reach clouded human hearts.
Even now, the warning left by the Golden Hunter is etched into her memory: Those of the Night Vigil, carrying aloft lit candles against the blackness, have greater need still to remain vigilant. Be not corrupted by the cold dark.

If Clorinde's Bond of Life is equal to or greater than 100% of her Max HP, her CRIT Rate will increase by 10% for 15s whenever her Bond of Life value increases or decreases. Max 2 stacks. Each stack is counted independently.
Additionally, Hunter's Vigil's Night Vigil state is buffed: While it is active, the percent of healing converted to Bond of Life increases to 100%.

Constellations

"From This Day, I Pass the Candle's Shadow-Veil"
While Hunter's Vigil's Night Vigil state is active, when Electro DMG from Clorinde's Normal Attacks hit opponents, they will trigger 2 coordinated attacks from a Nightvigil Shade summoned near the hit opponent, each dealing 30% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG.
This effect can occur once every 1.2s. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.
"Now, As We Face the Perils of the Long Night"
Enhance the Passive Talent "Dark-Shattering Flame": After a nearby party member triggers a Electro-related reaction against an opponent, Electro DMG dealt by Clorinde's Normal Attacks and Last Lightfall will be increased by 30% of Clorinde's ATK for 15s. Max 3 stacks. Each stack is counted independently. When you have 3 stacks, Clorinde's interruption resistance will be increased. The Maximum DMG increase achievable this way for the above attacks is 2,700.
You must first unlock the Passive Talent "Dark-Shattering Flame."
"I Pledge to Remember the Oath of Daylight"
Increases the Level of Hunter's Vigil by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
"To Enshrine Tears, Life, and Love"
When Last Lightfall deals DMG to opponent(s), DMG dealt is increased based on Clorinde's Bond of Life percentage. Every 1% of her current Bond of Life will increase Last Lightfall DMG by 2%. The maximum Last Lightfall DMG increase achievable this way is 200%.
"Holding Dawn's Coming as My Votive"
Increases the Level of Last Lightfall by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
"And So Shall I Never Despair"
For 12s after Hunter's Vigil is used, Clorinde's CRIT Rate will be increased by 10%, and her CRIT DMG by 70%.
Additionally, while Night Vigil is active, a Glimbright Shade will appear under specific circumstances, attacking opponents and dealing 200% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.
The Glimbright Shade will appear under the following circumstances:
· When Clorinde is about to be attacked by an opponent.
· When Clorinde uses Impale the Night: Pact.
1 Glimbright Shade can be summoned in the aforementioned ways every 1s. 6 Shades can be summoned per single Night Vigil duration.
In addition, while Night Vigil is active, the DMG Clorinde receives is decreased by 80% and her interruption resistance is increased. This effect will disappear after the Night Vigil state ends or 1s after she summons 6 Glimbright Shades.

  2. Clorinde’s purpose was to keep main playerbase in game until Natlan is in reach.

    In terms of her power, she was doomed from the beginning, since those who will pull for her already have C3R1 Raiden and it’s not like you need 2 electro teams for abyss.
    So she is perfect C0 trophy wife to fight with boredom until 5.0 leaks, that’s her role and she looks perfect for it. It’s like Eula back in the days, character unneeded meta wise but with great looks and stylish gameplay.

    • Sure ig but every DPS who doesn’t cover a new archetype is unnecessary and every character releases to keep players playing, Wriothesley released in a very similar situation but he released in the beginning of Fontaine, tbh I don’t think the Genshin team cares about balancing seeing as how the strongest and weakest 4.0 DPSes released in the same patch
      There’s clearly effort put into Clorinde, she has a relatively unique playstyle and very good visuals, so I can’t agree she’s filler unlike Chiori, she’s just… kinda eh power wise

  3. Honestly, I’ve been looking forward her release since the trailer, but even though I’ve just seen her kit, I’m still gonna pull. (I have no idea what team comps she’ll use)
    Remember guys, pull whoever you want, wheter they’re meta or not (I was honestly hoping I’d be able to pull Clorinde and Sigewinne, but choices are to be made I guess.)

      • is there anyone good for aggrevate teams? cuz i dont have nahida or baizhu, only dendro MC, collei, Yaoyao and kirara.
        Also, is chevruse needed for overload teams? If so, i hope she is on clorindes banner.

        • yes chevruse is a requirement to play overload, chevr c6 is dmg wise like kazuha without any grouping capabilities
          overload is pretty shit because all enemies just get hurled away from you and you have no benefit without chev AS you just grief yourself
          for aggrevate in your case only MC and collei are really viable,

          i would prefer collei if enemies arent to spred apart because of her limited aoe
          besides that collei is a good elegy user if you have it
          with collei c2 you also can almost use clorindes whole dmg window

          otherwise i would use mc, bigger aoe and duration

          i think for teams i would go with kazuha/sucrose/lynette with vv, mc/collei/nahida, c6 sara/furina/bennet the 4th slot is pretty flexible

          Kirara’s application may not be enough but Clorinde has short field time so maybe
          Collei at C2+ is good for aggravate
          Dendro MC is always a solid pick
          Nahida is unsurprisingly very strong
          Baizhu and Yaoyao exist

          Electro options:
          Fischl is a fantastic sub-spd and battery
          Yae has strong personal DMG and Clorinde’s low field time means the time for 3 skills doesn’t take away from your team DMG
          C6 Sara gives Clorinde the most personal DMG while also dealing competent DMG herself with her Burst
          Beidou is powerful but can struggle with energy

          Anemo options:
          Kazuha is as always fantastic for his DMG% buffs and crowd control
          Sucrose gives big em and DMG% but her crowd control is subpar

          Flex options:
          Zhongli gives a nice shield and res debuff to enemies
          Furina gives DMG% and enables quickbloom

          Those are all the character’s I’d recommend from memory

  4. looks like she depends on how many % BoL you have on her. it’s either 100%>=, 100%= it’s 49.64%×3 for CA and 76.67% for NA. this is kinda bad
    BUT “lawful remuneration” gives her a talent multiplier of 100% x 1800 atk max equal to 60% to the overall atk what is 3000 atk. with 3000 atk the ratio is 3000:1800(=1.666) what is 1,666/100% equals 60% talent multiplier. 76,67%+60%=146.67% for NA and (49.64% + 60%)×3=328,92% for CA. with buffer like bennett, sets and weapons. you easily reach higher numbers making this passive less usefull since you are beyond the 3000 atk hardcap. f.e. with 4200 atk the ratio is 4200:1800=2,33; 2.33/100%=42,92%; (49.64% + 42,92%)x3=277,68% for every CA.
    compared to arlecchino with 100% BoL which does 238%x1(100% BoL)+~100%(NA)=338% talent multiplier per hit. with both at c0r1 clorinde has 60% more cvalue and her CA looks pretty fast if her 100%>=BoLCA is as fast as showen here (that was not a 100%>=BoLCA). arle in the other hand has 28 more dmg%, the better element/better teams, more on field time, no atk cap for any mechanics.
    I’m not sure if she can reach neuv/arle level but she is by far not bad. correct me if I’m wrong somewhere.

    • EDIT 2: explanation why 1800 atk and the 100% talent multiplier and not 1800 dmg. 1800 atk x 1 (100%) dmg multiplier equals 1800 dmg I just do it in this way because it’s easier to calculate and compare with talent multiplier instead of dmg and it doesn’t change anything at all.
      example: it would be like this (0.4964*3000+1800)x3=9867,6 dmg in comparison to my methode 3,2892*3000=9.867,6 dmg aka the same.

I wasn’t interested in her since I’m broke and I just dicided to calculate her and wanted to know how her numbers are before she comes out. so yeah I’m for sure not the first one but you are welcome.:-)

    • I’m thinking Clorinde will really like to have Dendro teammate(s), if Catalyze and Aggravate counts as separate reactions, which will allow her to get all A1(?) stacks in a tri-elemental team. Also due to her A1, she would be less reliant on Aggravate, and prefer DMG% buffers such as Kazuha or Furina instead. The latter is not *as* anti-synergestic as she is with Arle, since healers can help Clorinde stack BoL, and Clor herself has frequent self-heals (which will heal more than normal because Furina can buff incoming healing)

        • Sorry, I may miss calculated, but if I start from her base stat lv90, I add just +311 atk for the flower, +608 for the weapon, +46.6% elemental dmg and +31.1% crit rate as a standar stuff: her NA (skill on) incrased by aggravate do more damage than a simple overload. Yeah overload become more intersting with high elemental masteries, but in with a em/elm%/crit%, get 24 sub-stat in em give a overload that deal less dmg than an aggravate burst with 24 sub-stats in crit dmg%. And even with 3 art in em, hyperbloom do much more damage than overload.
          So I don’t get why overload is the best team for her.
