	Description	When you reduce the Abyss Energy to 0, you can complete the capture process. However, the Abyss-corroded Phlogiston Aphids will be protected by special Wards that, before they break, will prevent your attacks from depleting the Abyssal power. Once its Ward is broken, an Aphid will be stunned, and at this point, every attack will deplete a specific amount of Abyssal power. Nightsoul-aligned attacks will deplete still more power. There is a fixed upper limit to the degree to which a corrupted Aphid's Abyssal power may be depleted while its Ward is destroyed.

Tip #2

Any attack can damage the Wards to some extent, and Nightsoul-aligned attacks will damage them more effectively.
Using Xilonen's Insect Net within its effective range can greatly damage the Ward.
After a time following its destruction, the Ward will regenerate.

Tip #3

The insect net needs to charge up before being used. Collect Shackleberries to charge the net.
The challenges will contain Shackleberry plants and objects that contain these berries. Defeating certain opponents will also grant a small amount of Shackleberries.

Tip #4

If Aphids corrupted by Abyssal power are attacked, they will flee to the next zone after a period of time.
If their Wards have been broken, Abyss-corroded Phlogiston Aphids will immediately flee to the next zone once they recover from their stunned state.
