40 responses to “Skirk”
I only have one question, is she as good as Mavuika yes or no
It’s fascinating that they designed Skirk as the complete opposite of Arle. Arle is stiff in her motions, but flexible in team building, while Skirk is fluid in her movements, but requires a stricter team.
Man, whoever did her videos is both bad and twitchy.
WTF are this scales??!?! Even without 170% from A4 it’s to high!
Can I replace Furina with Yelan + Xingqiu? My Neuvi kinda needs Furina
Yes. But Furina is very good at this team due every of 4 teammates can use the dmg buff.
You can put Furina on different teams…
cryo? no new element? of course, that would require this game to not be as mediocre as possible
god forbid cryo gets a good unit
Does her c1 have cooldown? if not that its broken beyond any reason. And actuality changes her BiS set from Galleries to Pavilion/Vermilion or any other CA dmg set
I guess the only cooldown is the cooldown of generating the rifts, which is 2.5 seconds per rift, and also, it seems she absorbs every rift at once, so even if you absorb all 3 rifts in a single move, she’ll only do a single attack, so focusing on the C1 dmg does feel a little pointless
thank god they fixed her enormous head.
giganticc.
Since it’s not on here (yet), I’ve added the descriptions for each of her keywords. Thank me later.
I accidentally posted this as a reply to someone’s comment, so I’m reposting it here xd
Serpent’s Subtlety
Skirk can consume Serpent’s Subtlety to maintain her Seven-Phase Flash mode or to use her Elemental Burst, Havoc: Ruin.
Skirk can gain Serpent’s Subtlety points in the following ways:
· After using her Elemental Skill, Havoc: Warp.
· After triggering the effect of her Passive Talent, “Reason Beyond Reason when absorbing Void Rifts.
When Skirk leaves the field while in Seven-Phase Flash mode or when Seven-Phase Flash ends, her Serpent’s Subtlety points will be removed.
Seven-Phase Flash
Skirk will switch to this mode for a fixed time when using the Elemental Skill Havoc: Warp. This mode has the following properties:
· Continuously consumes Serpent’s Subtlety.
· Increases Normal and Charged Attack AoE and Skirk’s interruption resistance.
· Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks are converted to Cryo DMG that cannot be overridden.
· Her Elemental Burst, Havoc: Ruin is converted to the special Elemental Burst Havoc: Extinction.
· Skirk can move on water when she Sprints.
· Skirk will exit this mode when Serpent’s Subtlety is fully depleted or its duration ends. Then, the Elemental Skill will go on cooldown.
guide if you wanna pre-build
best teammates:

S: furina | yelan | shenhe
A: xingqiu | chongyun (E2)
B: dahlia
best weapons:
SS: Azurelight
S: Haran Geppaku Futsu | Primordial Jade Cutter | Summit Shaper (niche, might be best in S)
A: Mistsplitter Reforged, Calamity of Eshu (f2p, exclusive, niche)
B: The Black Sword (p2w) | Wolf-Fang (p2w) | Blackcliff Longsword | Royal Longsword
C: Festering Desire (f2p, exclusive)
D: The Flute
artifact:
SS: Finale of the Deep Galleries
S: Blizzard Strayer | Echoes of an Offering
A: double 2-piece: atk%
B: Gilded Dreams | Golden Troupe
C: Retracing Bolide
artifact stats:
MAIN: atk% | atk%>cryo | crit damage>crit rate
SUB: atk%>crit dmg>crit rate> em
note: Shimenawa’s Reminiscence is a bit weird. it does not mention ER in her kit at all other than her using a different resource for ultimate. we can probably assume she has no energy built into her kit making shimenawa useless since you need to consume energy through the artifact.
skill point priority:
skill > ultimate > normal attack
f2p build:
weapon: Calamity of Eshu
artifact: Finale of the Deep Galleries
teammates: xingqiu (sub-dps), chongyun (sub-dps, buff), dahlia (sustain, buff)
conclusion:
after reading her kit it becomes clear that even though she may be a traditional atk scaling dps, she is so overtuned that she steps beyond those simple boundaries. similar to tartaglia she focuses on her skill and her passive even allows for an additional level. her kit has HUGE scalings and that might even be an understatement. on top of that a lot of things add even more DMG bonuses through weapons, artifacts, kit, etc however there is more or less a lack of atk% bonus compared making atk% way more valuable than any crit or dmg bonus that you can toss on her.
1. Why didn’t you mention 4pc Gladiator? Is 18% ATK better than 35% NA DMG bonus?
2. Gilded Dreams and Golden Troupe are useless on her, not to mention Bolide (no one farms it)
3. Harbinger of Dawn is also a good weapon
4. Festering Desire gives ER% which is a dead stat for skirk
5. No way Summit Shaper is better than Jade Cutter (also almost no one owns it)
thanks for that, I completely forgot about glad but that would be on par with the S tier options.
gilded dreams and golden troupe have very low synergy compared to other options but the fact that they still somewhat synergize is still a fact. useless fact I know but it’s just for fun.
harbinger is a solid choice I also forgot about which would probably be placed in C tier.
festering desire is low on the tier list meaning those who don’t have the weapons above can opt for that one at least
summit shaper is potentially better than jade because skirk will appreciate atk stat considering cryo having tons of crit to begin with and she has tons of built in damage bonuses and little atk bonuses. jade would be better if you wanna play it safe, but if you have a really good crit ratio build with your artifacts then summit shaper will probably outperform jade in terms of damage.
1. she has almost no source of atk in her kit a lot of dmg bonus so atk would be better
2.gilded dreams/vermillion is good if c1 has no cd that con alone does similar dmg to ayaka entire rotation(zajeff)
5. it is a lot of atk though which she needs more than cr as a cryo character
fun fact: unike what op said about her being broken beyond reason she currently does similar dmg to ayaka premium team 2.0 dps ≈ 5.0dps LOL
There are a few mistakes in this breakdown:
1) The motion values listed under her skill count as normal attack damage, i.e. there is no benefit from boosting her skill damage (still needs to be leveled though). This makes Festering Desire and Golden Troupe F-tier garbage on her.
**2) Unless she has some way of triggering shatter, there is no benefit to having EM and, even then, it is trivial so she actually gets more out of flat attack than EM. Gilded Dreams is C/D tier at best. Gladiator set is B tier. Marechaussee Hunter is S/A tier (with Furina). Vermillion Hereafter is S-tier (with Furina).
**Note: If you break away from the hyrdo/cryo freeze team playstyle and try out melt, then EM will be useful.
3) TToD Citlali is A-tier and other companions that can use TToD are worth consideration.
Bro you need to leave the kitchen. Shit is burning down.
