Ceremonial CrystalshotCeremonial Crystalshot
When a character in the party obtains an Elemental Shard created from the Crystallize reaction, Navia will gain 1 Crystal Shrapnel stack. Navia can have up to 6 stacks of Crystal Shrapnel at once. Each time Crystal Shrapnel gain is triggered, the duration of the Crystal Shrapnel stacks you already have will be reset.
When she fires, Navia will consume all Crystal Shrapnel stacks and open her elegant yet lethal Gunbrella, firing multiple Rosula Shardshots that can penetrate opponents, dealing Geo DMG to opponents hit.
When 0/1/2/3 or more stacks of Crystal Shrapnel are consumed, 5/7/9/11 Rosula Shardshots will be fired respectively. The more Rosula Shardshots that strike a single opponent, the greater the DMG dealt to them. When all 11 Rosula Shardshots strike, 200% of the original amount of DMG is dealt.
In addition, when more than 3 stacks of Crystal Shrapnel are consumed, every stack consumed beyond those 3 will increase the DMG dealt by this Gunbrella attack by an additional 15%.

Hold
Enter Aiming Mode, continually collecting nearby Elemental Shards created by Crystallize reactions. When released, fire Rosula Shardshots with the same effect as when the skill is Tapped.

Two initial charges.

Arkhe: Ousia
Periodically, when Navia fires her Gunbrella, a Surging Blade will be summoned, dealing Ousia-aligned Geo DMG.

"Maintaining the appropriate distance with those whom distance should be maintained is an essential part of etiquette. Naturally, there are also many ways to do this..."

TitleText
Character DetailsFontaine's laws are very strict, but its people are quite free-spirited. Fontainian society contains all manner of social organizations, clubs, or factions, all of which have their own origins, development, goals, and style.
For example, the short-lived Hat Jellyfish Association ostensibly promoted the protection of the waters and those living within, but was in truth founded by a band of explosives enthusiasts.
By comparison, the Spina di Rosula are a law-abiding, reliable lot, their overly rambunctious young President notwithstanding.
In official statements, the Spina proclaims itself to be a citizen-oriented society that involves many walks of life and focuses its efforts on solving difficult issues amongst the common folk, and that it will cooperate with the Fontainian authorities where needed.
If you ask Navia, she'd tell you that the Spina serves as a business partner with all sorts of people in it, that will help with any problem, using the velvet glove or the iron fist as appropriate.
Neither of these descriptions are mistaken, at least in broad strokes, so you may choose the one you prefer — though it is worth noting that those who choose the latter wording will find it easier to make friends with Navia.
Character Story 1In Fontaine, to say that you grew up watching the theater is no different from claiming that you were raised drinking water: Simply so ordinary that it barely bears mentioning.
So it was with Navia. So enamored was she with the scenes on stage that as a little girl she would pester her father to buy her tickets so that she could experience each part of the tale alongside the characters.
These feelings would take on a different note after she became involved in the affairs of the Spina di Rosula. The staged conflicts seemed fewer than the twists and turns at the negotiating table, and she could see the cosmetic scars imagined by makeup artists permanently carved into the bodies of those dwelling in the Fleuve Cendre.
Gradually, her visits to the opera house became less and less frequent, and she instead spent more and more time on those around her. Tragedy onstage was captivating, of course, but Navia did not wish for such tales of misfortune to befall real people.
How might one mediate between separated lovers mired in the battlefields of differing perspectives? How might one in middle age robbed of their ability to work by an accident find a new way to be the breadwinner?
The world is filled with problems of this sort, and while they bring little profit when resolved, unlike the core businesses that sustain the Spina, Navia throws herself into solving them.
And if anyone should accuse her of being a busybody, she will counter thusly.
"Such presumption, to call such matters trivial," she'd say, using lofty language to stymie the other party's reply. "This is called 'a stitch in time saving nine.' And wouldn't you agree that we're doing the Palais Mermonia a favor by preventing someone from being hauled up onstage at the opera house?"
At such times, Navia will not identify herself as the Demoiselle, President, or any fancy title, but as simply as Navia, an enthusiastically civic-minded citizen.
* Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 2
Character Story 2Navia, presently the one helping people out of trouble, used to be the one getting into it as a child.
President Callas, busy as he was, had to rely on Spina di Rosula members to take care of her, which was no mean feat when their charge could disappear in the blink of an eye. After much searching, they would at most find the barest hint of a fancy hat's rim visible on some rooftop... only for them to find naught but the hat itself upon finally climbing up.
The hat's owner would at that time already be playing somewhere on Mont Automnequi. Her curiosity was so intense that she could easily enjoy and entertain herself even without any companions. Give her a pond, and she could stare at it the whole day, watching birds flapping about as they bathed in the shallows and otters rising from the bottom to do the backstroke. Just this alone could bring her great joy for quite some time, and she would give gifts in gratitude for those who brought her such happiness — millet for the birds to eat, and shells for the otters to play with.
Sometimes, she would also seek out playmates. The children of Fleuve Cendre owned no toys for the most part, so she would play hide-and-seek with them, dragging her silk skirts with her through the pipes. Win or lose, she would always gain a little extra compared to the other kids. She would emerge from her hiding place brandishing a component or two she found in some nook or cranny, a few lost Mora, or a fifty-percent new portable toolbox, and bask in the admiration of her companions.
Though she would often run off on her own, most of the adults were exceptionally tolerant of her behavior (her father being the exception). Spina members would help bandage her bruised knees, and the women of the Fleuve Cendre would help mend her torn clothes. Navia would think, Ah, I am loved by so many, and such thoughts would make her happier still.
At one point, Navia heard an elderly lady next door say gossipingly thusly with others: "...That girl only has her father, and he's got no time to accompany her... Poor girl, always having to roam outside by herself..."
Such words made Navia unhappy for a while. She thought herself quite fortunate. Her father loved her lots, and the adults and children around her also liked her. So why would someone regard her as one to be pitied? Perhaps, Navia thought, it was a matter of unclear communication leading to confusion. In which case, that wouldn't do, not at all.
From then on, whenever little Navia felt loved, she would loudly declare: "Thanks for liking me so much. That makes me very happy!"
* Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 3
Character Story 3Navia's original intention behind combining a gun with an umbrella was quite simple: she just didn't want to carry too much around, as this would affect her ability to conduct other business.
It rains often in Fontaine, and the rain gives way to merciless sun, so umbrellas are a must when going outdoors. And it would not do for the Demoiselle of the Spina to go without a gun, for surely none would think it an ornament in her hands.
Her sharpshooting skills are born of much practice, with her principle being that any stance will do so long as you hit your shots — even propping your barrel atop a Blubberbeast is fine.
Clorinde, trained in the art of Marechaussee Hunter marksmanship, tends to shake her head at this, even as words of affirmation tumble out of her mouth. "I find your optimism regarding battle is quite admirable."
Navia takes that as praise. She met Clorinde when she was a (self-proclaimed) big girl of something over ten years, and is thus quite used to the latter's mannerisms. Yes, those are accurate words of praise, indeed!
Optimism is indeed a rare psychological quality not to be undervalued. Many are those who intentionally seek to cultivate such a characteristic, yet prove unable to smile amidst life's struggles, while Navia appears to have been born with this ability. To her, there are only two types of trouble in this world: The solvable, and the unsolvable. Immediate action is the panacea to problems that can be eliminated, and as for those problems beyond one's power to change, then change yourself and learn acceptance.
Apart from optimism, Navia finds tolerance to be a value that brings real improvement to one's quality of life, and it is a virtue that extends to the Spina. Why, look at all the varied business ventures, and the people of all sorts — indeed, even a Tent Tortoise calls the place home!
It is said that this creature was a friend of Callas's named Consigliere, roughly meaning "Counselor." Navia has also taken counsel with it in the past, finding it patient, quiet, and long-lived — just the sort of person you'd confide in. One day, Charlotte happened upon Navia babbling away to Consigliere, and out came her Kamera. The next thing anyone knew, many would come to speak to the Tent Tortoise on the picture's account. Navia herself would seek it out less from then on.
"Others should have a chance to chat with Monsieur Consigliere too," she would say with a straight face.
* Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 4
Character Story 4This world was probably full of contradictions from the beginning.
Take Navia's father Callas for example. If the Spina di Rosula was more influential, a lot of things could get done more easily, but Callas stubbornly refused to accept the honorary title that the Palais Mermonia sought to grant him after the completion of the aquabus lines.
Again, Callas would never intentionally hide what the Spina did from his daughter, and would speak to her of all manner of business techniques, even personally or engaging others to teach her how to use weapons, as well as bringing her to the negotiating table, as if intending to groom her to be his successor. But at the same time, he never spoke of the cause of her mother's death, nor would he ever share his feelings with her. For a time, Navia was even confused as to whether she and her father were close or distant.
Later, Navia slowly came up with a theory: That her father may have treated her so to protect her. He let her learn and build up wisdom in the hopes that she would become independent and be able to survive the crushing stresses of life. As for why he would not speak of his own pressures or pain, or even Clementine's death, it was most likely to spare his daughter sorrow or unnecessary guilt. And so he remained silent, never having a heart-to-heart with his own daughter, no matter how much he missed his wife.
As for his rejection of the title, this was possibly because he felt that Spina di Rosula would often be working with the common folk and a title like "Duke Callas" might create the perception of a difference in status between them, causing the Spina in turn to lose the trust of the people.
Still, all of these are just Navia's own conclusions.
This is another area where Navia found herself conflicted. She was in all things valiant, and in business straightforward, but she never did seek her father out to confirm her conjectures.
—Did you make those choices to protect me, Papa? Did you underestimate my ability to sort out my feelings, even though you trusted me?
She never spoke these thoughts aloud to her father. After all, she thought, they had time. Could she not wait until her stubborn old man stopped being so closed off, or until she had found better footing of her own, for them to have that conversation?
It was time that would answer her question, and teach her that which her father could not.
Some things in life are like that, leaving only time for on-the-spot learning and no time for preparation, just as she would go on to organize her own memos after Melus's departure.
Well, everyone makes mistakes at first, right? But don't worry — Navia's a fast learner.
* Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 5
Character Story 5Fontaine is the Nation of Hydro, and thus, from time immemorial, many tales about water have been flowing through it, such as the belief that the rain that falls is the Hydro Dragon Sovereign's tears and that the Great Terrestrial Lake holds the emotions of humanity...
The former is regarded as a ditty meant to pacify unruly children, while the latter is regarded by most to be unprovable, but as the matter of the "prophecy" progressed, people gradually turned to it for emotional sustenance.
As Fontaine's post-disaster reconstruction work steadily progressed, Navia found that more and more people began to stay a while and tarry by the water, especially around Poisson.
After her accession as President, Navia was never one for slowing down or taking breaks. But once, when she was walking by the waterfront, she glimpsed her reflection in the surface and was suddenly struck by the desire to stop and stare, just as she had gazed at ponds when she was little.
She stooped down and scooped up some water, and watched as it drained away through the gaps between her fingers, till there was but a little left in her palm. Navia felt little from the water cupped in her hand, remembering only the traces of blood washed out by the rain, and the clothes left behind when the waters had retreated.
She had always been one to see the bright side of things, and did not wish for her sorrow to spread to her companions, and so she seldom cried. But thus did the unshed tears swollen with the river of the years at last find their outlet.
Those tears were blown dry by the wind, and did not fall into the waters, but Navia believed that they would not fade with time.
Her tears were utterly insignificant, but a drop in the ocean, but just as all other waters in this world, they would evaporate, condense, and fall as light rain, and with the wetness of each rainy season that came, they would meet again.

The Right TimeWhen Navia no longer needed to tiptoe to touch the shelf tops, Callas gave her a notebook. The book contained no dates and had no format, and even contained some text without punctuation — and was written by her mother, Clementine.
While it was initially a welcome surprise, frustration and gloom took root in her heart as she read on.
The short essays began from the time Clementine went with Callas to visit the Fountain of Lucine. It seemed that from the moment they became intent on having a child, her mother would often think about her. In the golden sunflowers, she would see her child's hair, and in the bright lakes, her child's eyes.
She wrote down every last one of these hopes and blessings: May our child brim with beautiful virtues, try the many adventures and lovely cuisines the world has to offer, and experience all manner of joy and happiness.
This was not the first time Navia had read things her mother had written, but this instance certainly made her the happiest and angriest all at once. Why had her father only chosen to give this to her now!?
But her fury was not to last. She soon finished reading all the thin book had to offer, and its ending was one of devastating simplicity.
"Though I have written much about our child, I suppose these are, in the end, just my own wishes."
For some reason — their connection by blood, perhaps — Navia immediately understood the meaning of those words. Her mother had not wished for these hopes become a burden upon her growing child, and thus, her father had given this book into her keeping only after she had already grown into an adult by following her own path.
That day, Navia, did something quite rare, and did not go out, instead spending a long time in her room. Equally rare, also, was her acknowledgment of her father's arbitrary exercise of authority in this case.
Perhaps her mother had once intended to give her this notebook herself, once she was grown... when the time was right.

VisionAt a birthday party many years ago, Navia took her favorite tabletop game out.
Perhaps it was because this was also her coming of age, but the participants playing that day were especially numerous. Amid this lively atmosphere, everyone — apart from the birthday girl, the star of the show — racked their brains coming up with characters exceedingly ill-suited to themselves.
Melus, the steady hand, became the rash and careless commissioner, inviting all present to solve — or suffer under, more like — the ancient curse afflicting his family. Sonny, ever elegant in speech and etiquette, would play a potty-mouthed petty thief, even making the grand sacrifice of shedding his pale outer coat, which usually stuck to him like a second skin. The nervous rookie, Silver, having been dragged into this by dint of passing by, was made a mighty, mysterious mage.
The most lethal blow came when Clorinde, who usually took charge of proceedings, decided to "band together" with the famed adventurer known as "Demoiselle" as a private doctor who missed every shot she fired. Someone had to do the healing, she reasoned — but alas, this left the role of game master open, with Callas unfortunate enough to be the only one left to fill that post. Thus was he forced to put his soft drink aside, and leave the audience stands (the bench) for the crowd of players (the sofa).
Navia was most pleased with this start.
The game, however, got off to a bumpy beginning, with the strange commissioner bursting his way into Demoiselle's residence during her birthday party, only to misjudge and crash head first into a triple-layered cake, nearly drowning himself in dessert and ending the millennia-spanning family curse by his own hand within the first five minutes.
Demoiselle would quickly get the good-hearted doctor to save the man, with the doctor musing if letting him live on was tantamount to helping their enemies as she rolled the dice.
The game master's expression did not change as he went faithfully about his duty in a low voice:
"The young man, having braved the rain, was soaked to the bone, and both his hands were set a-trembling."
"He did his best to clean the cream off his face and body, though he missed a few spots."
"'Thank you, kind souls, thank you, for joining in my battle against this curse most wicked!'"
They were unusually lucky during the middle portion of the game. To solve a problem, one must investigate its source. According to the mage's hypothesis, the commissioner's ancestor must have made a contract with a demon for some reason. "Ah, if I had only rolled higher, we would already know that reason..." grumbled the mage. "Bloody signed a high-interest contract without a care for his descendants, didn't 'e, the blithering idiot?" The thief blurted out. "Well then, can we steal the document and destroy it?" Demoiselle asked offhandedly.
The inexperienced game master would regret allowing their actions for all time, for the thief's luck was truly ludicrous.
"...Demoiselle was clever indeed, and the thief just as profoundly skilled."
"No one thought that the contract would fall into their hands so easily, and yet the words written upon it were nigh indecipherable..."
The ending, too, was unusually happy. Thanks to the hardworking and kind (and also sufficiently rusty) game master, Demoiselle would finally drag the rest of the party, riddled as they were with status effects, into a confrontation with the ancient demon. The battle was as chaotic as ever, with the mage losing his sanity first, and the doctor not landing a single shot. But just as everyone's hit points were about to bottom out, the adventurer Demoiselle would hazard a venture. Using up a turn to move beside the demon, and tanking a full round of its attacks head-on, she knowingly gave the doctor a desperate order, as everything was going to hell: "Shoot me instead!"
The doctor's dice were rolled before the game master could say anything. Callas counted the dice in silence, before taking three deep breaths.
"...The bullet pierces the demon's weak spot, and the giant creature collapses into the abyss."
"It returns to the darkness, and into slumber, taking that absurd curse with it."
"Rejoice, rejoice, for the adventurer's courage and for her ill-omened ally!"
Perhaps it was to go with the President's flow or out of genuine emotion, but there was indeed much rejoicing. Amidst the din, only Callas, who had begun to sort out the various items used for play, was stunned. He retrieved a golden-yellow jewel from within the dice box.
"Navia... I think this is yours."
There were many people present, but this Vision did indeed belong to Navia, for it was with a flash of her thought that a great blade of Geo would slice her birthday cake in two... along with the table.
Later at night, when the party and her excitement both had settled down, Navia would lie on her bed, unable to remember what she had been thinking when she had obtained the Vision. Had her mind lingered on the final victory, obtained only after much struggle and hardship? Or had she wished that her birthdays henceforth would be spent surrounded by friends, just like this one?
If it was the former, that seemed to obliquely indicate that a happy ending must be preceded by many tribulations... so best to go with the latter.
Thus were her thoughts as she lay at dreamland's door, still clutching the Vision.

  1. Fucking trash character, I just watched the broadcast and saw that the shotgun looked great but a guy sent me a DM with a showcase where Navia can’t even turn or point up the sights on her shotgun like Mika does with him crossbow.

Who the hell designed such a static shotgun and thought it would be a good idea? Damn, I never expect anything from these brainless people and they still manage to disappoint me.

  2. Okay, so Navia’s finally debuted on the version 4.3 update stream and her playstyle animations slays.
Navia’s not gonna be really OP or anything but she will be an interesting speedrunning team since her DPS is frontloaded within her skill.
And ofc the national core are gonna be best teammates and having to drag an archon with them, either Furina or Zhongli.

I do have some suggestions for other teams and one is to support the use of high base atk weapons which would otherwise be devalued by Bennett’s insane atk buff with the pyro reosnance added onto it.

So, geo teammates? Ningguang is okay, I guess, but I think Geo Traveler, Albedo, and Zhongli are better. If we are looking to get geo resonance straightened, you would want a shield right, but you also want to make crystallized shields last long enough while she aims down and fires her skill, twice. So crystallized shields won’t be relying on EM but shield strength instead, and Zhongli is sketchy for triggering ToM, even smaller circle impact than bennett. Then who else? Layla is my suggestion who doesn’t need to rely on getting hit to strengthen shield strength and has a portable ToM trigger. So you add on another cryo, say a sub dps like Rosaria who could give extra crit and carry Blizzard, you would get 35% extra crit from cry resonance and part 1 of blizzard strayer.

That leaves your geo character as sub dpses or quickswap dpses, which could be Ningguang on TTDS if warranted, even Memory of Dust but there is also Widsith being better. If not Ning, then Albedo can just be on Husk or Golden Troupe, and the EM is just there so Crystallized don’t break if considering NAing after her skill. I like Geo Traveler though, who can frontload the energy, give IR, and increase crit rate.

Nevertheless, it won’t be as strong as a Naviational or just the double pyro core, but it just feels stupid for Xiangling’s powerful no ICD to be wasted on a sub-par elemental reaction for a team.

Sac GS looks like a 4* BiS at high refinements, so R3 minimum before it feels wonky and extends rotations for too long.

Overall, Navia is looking pretty alright for a geo 5*, and too bad she didn’t actually reshape crystallize, but at the very least, she has more flexible team options than mono geo, and she’ll absolutely hog up Bennett or Furina, or even both.

    • Furina Navia national or hypercarry with Zhongli, Bennett, and Furina. Bennett is naturally a solid healer pick for use with Furina as Navia is quickswap by nature. I’ll probably use her with double cryo since I just loathe Bennett with a passion. The concept is that Blizzard strayer and cryo resonance will give me a ton of crit rate since I won’t be with a crit weapon on Navia, and since crystallize has a global 1s ICD, it would be difficult to fully strip cryo off of enemies. Then Rosaria will buff crit rate (in talent and with Blizzard) and layla buffs atk and shield strength to improve durability of crystalllized shields so I can NA without worry of a broken crystallized shied. My geo teammate would then be Albedo or Geo Traveler to buff even more crit rate.

But the highly rated teams will use the national core. You can go simple navia national with Bennett, Xiangling, Xinqiu, or a forward vape national with Furina in place of Xingqiu and use Navia’s quickswap style to advantage of healing team throughout using Bennett. You could additionally just use
double electro or double hydro for the team,

      • She still wants one geo buddy for resonance and extra crystals, since her non-geo passive caps at two non-geo party members. Albedo generally being seen as the clear winner because good off-field element and damage, though ZL can lower res. Whoever it is would ideally be someone with low field time (sorry Noelle/Itto fans)

        Something like Navia/Albedo/XQ/Yelan.

        • Geo Traveler is also a decent option, giving her Crit rate through C1 and using the BiS set that she would go for as well. geo Traveler is also a decent battery as well. In a way, Geo Traveler may crowd control through his barricade ring, or push away enemies who are lethal towards survival of the shield.

I’d suggest geo traveler, Albedo, or Zhongli. Zhongli plus geo resonance is equal to a VV for geo.

    • I don’t think most people are considering her for a NA team, instead favoring a quickswap style. That being said, she can function as a NA dps. Yunjin would probably work with her in that case for the NA buff and atk speed buff if you have the cons. I don’t know if this is the best idea though. The main benefit of an on field dps is quick elemental application. That can be an elemental driver like Ayato or getting reactions like Yoimiya or Hu Tao. Geo doesn’t have any reactions beside consistent generation of crystallize shields. That could benefit her somewhat if you are running the new artifact set on her. If you are going Archaic Petra, she’d probably be more suited to the quickswap teams, where she’d almost function as a support. As for her passive for the atk, she only needs two so you can literally fill the last two slots with almost any character, besides anemo, dendro and another geo of course.

All this is to say, her E will benefit more from using Bennet, yelan, or Furina like the other person said, but you can run her however you want. You could even include 2 of those 3 if you have them and get some pretty decent buffs to both sources of damage. That would be more of a hypercarry comp and I’m not sure how good that one is.

    • For a Geo teammate, Navia needs someone who can do crystallize constantly. Yunjins kit doesnt allow her to constantly do crystallize, unlike Albedo, Zhongli, or even Ningguang. Also, Navias normal attack is just a filler for her to get crystallize for her second shot of E skill. Navia will not benefit much from Yunjins Burst buff.

Is she some kind of legendary being like an ancient dragon or an adepti? No.
So explain to me, why does she need to be strong and do high dps? Not to mention that geo is a defensive element, the reaction doesn’t even do damage.

Venti, who will use him over Kazuha?
Zhongli, only bis for Hu Tao, Xiao, Wanderer. VV Kazuha just better
Raiden, force you to use national (replace her with Childe and get better result) or whale for c6 sara (still kinda mid) or hyperbloom bot (Kuki already better than her due to raiden E cant hit shield and tall enemies)
Furina, force you to use a healer that not Bennett, Kuki (dps loss healers) make your whole team around 70-80% max hp even with teamwide healers and can be oneshot. Event weapon locked
only Nahida is worth ngl, but even so she only bis in dendro comps.
a character can still be strong without any lore relevant like Alhaitham.

      • For suckable content, Venti is still awesome. Kazuha is prefered because he buffs elemental dmg, while venti provide confort with ER regen. But I’m more with you on this side, I have and play Kazuha while I don’t feel the need to pull for Venti.

Zhongli is a DPS loss is certain teams but is such a confort than he is still wildly played. But I agree, he isn’t absolutely needed, I don’t have him and Kirara or Layla are good shielders.

Noone force you to use Rational, it’s just an easy acces comp, with big dmg for middle to good investement and easy to play. Childe does more dmg but he does exist only in International and the team is not the easiest to play. When people ask for strong team to start abyss, the most popular answers are Rational and Hyperbloom.
People going for Hyper Carry Raiden often goes for C2 and C6 Sara is usually not difficult to obtain with such an amount of pulls on Raiden banners. Otherwise, I have C6 Sara with my C0 Raiden and I didn’t whale at all. Damage are enough with C0 Raiden R5 The Catch.
For Hyperbloom, it a trade between more dmg or more confort. I personally prefer more confort (Shinobu’s healing) and I prefer my Raiden to do electro dmg so I never built her with EM.

Furina gives so much to your team (buff for the whole team + nice personal dmg) that having a teamwide healer isn’t a DPS loss. It’s more like a complete package for 2 slots (Dmg + Buff + Heal + some other utility). Some people talk about team being easier to one shot but I didn’t feel this problem and I played Furina a lot in abyss recently to test different teams. And for the healer choice, you choose depending on what you prefer. Baizhu brings a bit of IR, Jean brings VV, Mika brings NA healing and attack speed (it was cool to use with Rizzly and Yoimiya), onfield Kokomi and Noelle bring different team comp (Mono Hdro or EC for Kokomi, WetRock or ElecRock for Noelle). And ffs please people, stop saying that she is event weapon locked and go fish ! Fleuve Cendré is really great (+16 TC is juicy and easier ER management) on her and it’s totally free. And faster to get than R5 The Catch.

Nahida is BiS in dendro comp, I agree, but fact is that dendro comp are so large. Spread, Quicken, Hyperbloom, Burn Melt… even BurnVape Neuvi ou Furina. Many possibilities to have fun =3

I agree with you, Coffin Seller, String Masochist, and Feeble Scholar didn’t need lore to be strong.

        • i agree on other facts but raiden is actually overrated. well her kit looks flashy but people need to think before labeling her the best dps. about national- childe is not the only better replacement for raiden, you can put kazuha/ayato too. they both technically just upgrades the team. before anyone come @me for kazuha national, I’ve played this team plenty of time, it’s just spam skill/burst/aa switch that don’t even need any braincells. and for hyperbloom/spread there’re good enough replacements too. Raiden is just very versatile but not anything broken/irreplaceable like nahida for dendro.

      • 1) Sure that true but one the first unit that was released in 2020 and was prone to being outdated (but still usable at times despite falling down from the meta) just most characters that year (barring Childe but he’s mainly in national/international variants and pre-buff Zhongli was absolute ass). Besides, the only thing those two have in common asides from CC support is that they’re anemo. They do different things, moron. Venti literally lives rent-free in many of your heads thanks to the justified CC countermeasures from HYV.

        2) True, but at this point. You’re another generic Kazuha simp who loves to spam your love for him while putting down other characters. I’ll say that the buffs he got from his abysmal release were needed but doesn’t make him an absolute necessity.

        3) Some people may not like Childe’s playstyle (I do like it though) so it up to their preferences. However, I’ll say that you’re right about Raiden being a tad overrated. People who say she overpowered are talking about her C2 but it really only benefits her. And their are other teams who can compete at at lower constellation levels.

        4) Ah the typical hate for healers also there’s nothing wrong with Furina taking HP from your team. If it bothers you then don’t bother using characters like that.

        5) I’m not going to speak about Nahida much but I’m pretty sure she can be used in non-dendro related teams like burn melt and more.

There are obviously non-lore character that are strong like the other so it doesn’t have to be limited to Archons. I do think that the Archons being “the best of their element” is a complete myth that was created by this community. And no Venti isn’t the only exception, I would arguably say Raiden and Furina are as well despite those two being more relevant in the meta due to there being great options of characters in their elements.

Tongue in cheek joke aside… I assume:
Kazuha – No one would touch him otherwise because of how absurdly boring he is as a character, hence his frankly laughable original banner sales. (It had nothing to do with Sucrose, no one liked him at the time.)
Hu Tao – I honestly have no clue. She even has similar mechanics to what Xiao should also have inherently in his kit and even self healing.
Ayaka – I assume it’s popularity among the devs, again beats me why she’s so strong compared to Ganyu. Maybe a Charge atk buffer will make Ganyu stronger?
Like Kazuha, no one would touch Bennett or Xingqui if they weren’t so strong.

HuTao – Needs C1R1 to be competitive but still has an entertaining personality despite being irrelevant to the story.
Ayaka – Extremely boring character who’s clunky to use and far more overrated than HuTao. She needs C2R1 and all 5* supports to compete with low-investment teams.

Now I have premium team (I’m a big fan of Kokomi and Shenhe anyway so my pulls aren’t tied to make Ayaka better, and Kazuha is Kazuha xD) and the team is really smooth and comfy to use.

But by no mean she needs to be C2R1 with 5* supports to shine. 4K multiplier burst stonks by itself.
I don’t see where she can be clunky, or maybe you don’t like her dash ? Or her burst pushing ennemis away when not frozen ?
She can be boring if you don’t like freeze team and burst DPS, everyone have his own taste. I know a player who can’t play freeze and only play her in melt teams. Personally, I enjoy playing her freeze team =)

    • Alhaitham is not archon or dragon.

geo is not a defensive element, his fucking archon scale with HP%

geo is an element that is based on mono element, yellow physical damage but the numbers of its characters are simply disappointing, they are so disappointing that the blue physical damage (hydro hypercarry without reactions) and red physical damage ( monopyro liney) teams are better ..

      • Geo is NOT a mono element. Why does the geo reaction set precede the mono-element def set? Since when was geo mono-element before Geo became xenophobic to other elements with Gorou being dependent on 3 geos and then Itto sticking to Gorou? Geo isn’t a mono element. It’s simply the shield, or protection element, either physically [actual shields]. or statistically [durability through HP or Def]
        Let’s go over that:
Geo Traveler: Creates a barrier with his Burst, or uses boulders as obstacles
Albedo: Def scaling, with defense stat relating to how defensive a character is, how much damage they take
Ningguang: A curtain that shields from projectiles
Noelle: An actual shield yet translucent
        Zhongli: An impeccable shield erected
        2.0 starts-
Itto: Scales additionally with def, so takes less damage than usual, offset by Burst making him take more damage.
Gorou: Absorbs crystallize shards towards active character, buffs the durability stat.
Yun Jin: Scales off durability stat, and buffs her def off crystallize (at C4)
Now Navia: Absorbs and utilized shield crystals.

It’s simply that the elemental reaction crystallize is a poor representation of protection or durability. Could at least be a dual scaling element, EM + Def, or have 100% effectiveness against every other element and 250% effectiveness against its own. Basically, more effectiveness, the better.

    • Cuz it’s a game and lore doesn’t mean shit to meta, while people want their character who they wasted their primos on actually do something good on a PvE game to not invalidate all the time or money they spend pulling for those characters. Surprise surprise.

    • They are mad because Navia isn’t Neuvillette level of Damage Dealer, she is going to be treated as Yoimiya was by “meta” slaves. The only problem is that we can’t find the source of this unlike the time it happened with Yoimiya.

    • There is no correlation with a chara being strong and being an archon. None of the archons are designed to be carries, they fulfill a support role in their respective elements.
What matters most is whether a char unique enough not to be powercrept in future patches and regions. More often than not they will fulfill a specific niche which is considered powerful.
Whether the char itself is strong is not important. Contrary, a chara weakly designed will be left to dust in the future. Dehya for example is a design without a clear focus.

  7. Do you think that Mahito is on JOGOAT power level ?
I mean they on the same team, right ?
Or maybe he can beat both Gojo and Sukuna on a fight too ~~

    • Teams are pretty flexible. Usually Navia + Geo flex + 2 PECH chars flex

If you look for max dmg, Bennett + Furina/Yelan + Zhongli is a good option. If you can manage shield uptime with Crystalize, C6 Ningguang can replace Zhongli as burst DPS for more team dmg. If Furina, then Bennett should have a healer build (HP/HP/HB with 4p Maiden if possible)

For geo mate, Ningguang can be a support too with TTDS and her jade screen. Albedo is a good mate for DPS + easy crystallize. Yunjin is fine to boost the NA strings if you onfield your Navia.

Duo electro for energy (like Fischl + Beidou), duo pyro for atk buff (XL + Bennett, easy choice), duo cryo for more CR (Rosaria + Shenhe), electro + hydro for dmg and easy aura to crystallize… choices are large.

You can choose a team with Noelle as an onfielder, Navia will be quickswap subDPS, while Noelle heal and drive. Furina+Yelan will be awesome.

Personally, I’ll go mainly with Yunjin/Furina/Mika to enjoy Navia’s field time and NA strings. =)
I want to test things like C6 Elegy Amber + C6 Thoma to see if she is strong enough to work with low DPS and buffers mates.

And for Marechaussée, IIRC is on par with the new set, but it ties your build to Furina in the team. It’s a bit less flexible but the domain is efficient to farm so it’s a good option. Petra will be good too, particularly in double geo deouble same PECH element comp to boost the team DPS overall.

Oh, and I read somewhere that it’s still ok for Crystals to run Furina + Charlotte, you should get enough crystals even despite shatters.

      • I think it an honorable mention for a geo teammate is Geo Traveler, whose C1 gives her 10% more crit rate as well as more interruption resistance. Geo Traveler also could use the same 4.3 set that Navia uses, and with Bennett, Geo Traveler snapshots bennett’s atk buff and his own crit rate buff. Geo Traveler is also a pretty good battery.

I think Archaic Petra would be actually wonderful on Navia to assist off field dps like Xiangling, Fischl, Beidou, Yae, Rosaria, Yelan, Xingqiu, or sub dps like Ayato who would swap out into Navia.

        • Yeah, I think Layla is a very solid pick, especially if someone is wanting to go NA playstyle on navia using the new set. Compared to Zhongli, Layla gives shield strength passively whereas Zhongli gives shield strength when the shield takes damage, and all shields take damage at the same rate. Layla also has more reliable ToM set triggering so you’re getting 24% + 30% + 15% shield strength which really does well for crystallized shield survivability. Then the last PHEC character is either a second cryo or a hydro for freeze and some shatter damage despite how mid that is.

        • Yes you are right.

I forgot Yae because I play her essentially with Dendro but yes, she is a perfect fit in quickswapy style.

I thought about Layla after. Cryo res is cool and I play my Layla with HoD 3* sword and HP/Cryo/HP, I want to play her and Shenhe with Navia and Yunjin in overworld so Layla will shield and deal a bit of dmg too =D
Diona can work too to consolidate Shield and Healing, but cryo app is lower and C6 EM buff isn’t really useful.

    • to use that comp practically you need a minimum of furina C1 and furina with a minimum build of 200 or more ER so that you can burst in each rotation.

You need her C1 because that’s how he can work with Bennet as a single target healer to reach the maximum average fanfare, if you have Furina C3 much better.

If you already have the ingredients just slap zhongli for as a flexible slot and you will have a good team.

      • This is my decided team I will play with navia, especially since I’ve already built Layla and her shield strength plus ToM makes using the new 4.3 set more reliable and flexible due to the continuous cryo app and letting Navia use NAs without worry of breaking crystallized shield too quickly.
Layla looks like a golden teammate for Navia.

    • TC Zajef suggested double pyro with Zhongli as geo, or the national core with Furina and its a Furina vape team where Navia can swap in whenever needed. Due to its quickswappy nature, you cna funnel more energy to Xiangling and heal more of the team frequently.

I do wanna go a double geo route and without Zhongli, who would be terrible for maintaining crystallized shields durability since the shield strength builds when it takes damage and all shields take damage at the same rate. So I was gonna play a team around Layla who can be a Tenacity bot way better than Zhongli, and Rosaria as a sub dps on the side to also give crit rate and carry Blizzard. even though not as effective with freeze, it would still have the 20% more crit rate. I want to get a strong crit ratio on Navia, and since there aren’t many f2p crit claymores, so I hope the crit from cryo resonance, Blizzard, Rosaria, and Geo Traveler will work.

I just hate the idea of playing circle impact and playing with bennett and Xiangling, who imo have just boring gameplay loops, and Xiangling I can play in international, melt, or in a furina national/sunfire team so I just don’t like that concept of a team. Double electro and double hydro also sound interesting. Could even play Furina team with Noelle with second geo since its quickswap friendly and Noelle can swap out without any punishment
