Artifact Affix | Song of Days Past
2-Piece | Healing Bonus +15%.
4-Piece | When the equipping character heals a party member, the Yearning effect will be created for 6s, which records the total amount of healing provided (including overflow healing). When the duration expires, the Yearning effect will be transformed into the “Waves of Days Past” effect: When your active party member hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, the DMG dealt will be increased by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect. The “Waves of Days Past” effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect. |

This just looks like a worse version of clam
Hard coping that this set will get that garbage 10-hit restriction removed, so I can make a meta Qiqi driver team actually viable in reality and not just my head.
That would be amazing!
What teams are you thinking of?
Until now i thought pairing her with Furina, Fischl and Zhongli with the Marechausee Hunter set would be the way to go, but with this set it seems you have something else in mind.
Have they learned nothing from Shenhe and Yunjin? Having any form of trigger quota is beyond garbage and no amount of buff will make it worth using as long it has one lmao.
I wish the quota limit was raised higher and you can skip the 10s if the requirement is already fulfilled. If you have to endure 10 seconds to get into the buffed phase, you might as well remove the quota limit for the base dmg bonus and let it last 10 seconds, or raise the quota limit to 25 like Yunjin’s since it is shared amongst the team, and make it to where prematurely obtaining 30k healed HP would move to “waves of that day.”
This artifact set is pretty underwhelming. For an artifact set supposedly for Cloud Retainer, I think a healer artifact set with res shred upon 30k would be better, or if the base dmg bonus was 10% of HP healed, so each attack can deal additional 3k damage.
Needs a buff, but it’s better than not giving any bonus to the team.
The real question is when it starts being worth farming it if you can also farm artifacts for your damage dealers…
If this was like… 5% of the heal… I would supposed this point to be pretty early on.
Is the 900 damage bonus affected by multiplicative effects like elemental damage bonus and crit damage, or is it just a flat 900 extra damage at the end of the original damage from a character?
Assuming it’s the same as all the other additive base DMG bonuses, it *will* be affected by elemental/physical DMG bonuses and crit damage.
If it expires after 10 hits (like Yun Jin’s and Shenhe’s talents), it should be a direct upgrade over Ocean-Hued Clam in single-target situations on characters that don’t have enough healing to max out the set’s 30k recorded healing amount (w/ high CV and DMG bonuses on the active character). An on-field healer shouldn’t use this, and it’s arguably completely trash against 2 or more enemies (maybe 3 or more if you’re running insanely lucky CV rolls + a high CV weapon).
Nor should it be run on a team where the active character is running full EM (and ignoring crit chance/crit damage), for that matter.
There was a recent Reddit post that said the damage buff is shared amongst the whole team instead of the on field character(this site takes a day or two to change the text). If that is true then this set seems even worst on teams with healers that do small ticks of damage when they heal, because they will just steal damage procs instead of your dps. It’s starting to feel that they put this set on together with Navia’s signature set for people to suffer more.
With Yun Jin and Shenhe you can chose to apply the buff before your dps.
The set on a team like Mika+Furina can potentially be equivalent to 1/4 of Yunjin’s buff (solo geo c6 t13), which doesn’t sound too bad, although
I was honestly expecting something much more generic and universally useful. I was hoping for a Petra Archaic (25% all dmg) or a Deepwood/VV (12-15% RES shred) for healers that would increase their value.
Besides Mika (perhaps also Chevreuse), the synergy with other healers is not very clear. Bennett? The flat DMG doesn’t increase with his ATK buff. Baizhu? Dendro relies mainly on transformative reactions; the EM won’t increase the damage of the flat DMG this set provides. I’m sure I’m forgetting some characters; flat damage is great with amplifying reactions as well, but the 10-second requirement sounds too bothersome… Hopefully, it receives some buffs during the Beta.
this is bad. you have to wait 10 secs to get the.
they should add another requirement for buff activation like: the buff is activated when the container reach max capacity(30000)
wait so it only increases dmg by 900 at max healing amount? is that flat dmg or base dmg??
i think its work ike yunjin and shenhe buff
another bullshit artifact
