Item Story
"O High Lord of the Nobles of Khaenri'ah, the crimson-red moon has long since fallen into the abyssal firmament, and the blindness of your blood has ended your line," "O benevolent lord who leadeth us, should you still pity the children of humanity, then drink deep the wine in this cup." It was an ancient era, before the dark sun's light illuminated the underground, and an ancient and glorious clan still ruled that vast kingdom. The dogmatic priests convinced the muddle-minded king upon the throne that the remnants of the Crimson Moon in the sky ruled all, For it is the color of the moonlight that flows beneath mortal flesh, and the darkness hidden within the bottom of the abyss shall too emerge from the Crimson Moon. This being so, the king of humanity should take upon himself the name of the Crimson Moon, and by the light and flame of two worlds judge fickle fate. Thus they yearned for transcendent individuals to build countless glorious towers, and prayed for the long-dead Crimson Moon to bring them salvation. Until the astrologists branded as heretics glimpsed in the inverted image of the false sky the origin of all the world's fate, Until the unquenchable flames of doubt and fury blazed across the dreamless realm like wildfire, finally burning to the moonlight-hued palace itself... By the time of the blackened sun, the name of the Crimson Moon had long faded along with the crimson that had flowed. Only the epithet "Balemoon" remained to stain the lingering detritus. Whether the unclean who suffered from the curse, or those unblemished ones not yet tainted by fate, none would again consider themselves a follower of the moon's remnants. Few survived the utter destruction of their kind, hiding in the shadows where the sun did not shine, longing for the Crimson Moon to decree their desire for vengeance be repaid— But the so-called repayment never came, and the dark sun fell to the same ignorance and arrogance. When destruction once again was nigh, only the mocking moonlight spilled forth upon the shadow of the sun, long burnt to ash. "Fate, fate, O terrifying and pale fate, why must you abase yourself and submit to such a tyrannical usurper If the Balemoon's remnants had already sealed your doom, what meaning could be found in the blood vengeance of bygone days? If the destiny she wove mocks us so, then let us mock destiny as loudly as we may Until the last shadow of the ashen sun burns away the old world, until the Crimson Moon witnesses the immaculate dawn." |

this type of new 5 star weapon is sooooo trash. last time we got Verdict(navia sig) and the new chiori sig is atleast had passive that can be utilize by some character even though its getting more complicated to gain by other character. but this BoL debuff only obtainable by arle, that is another lvl of gatekeep
No, well not quite, Arlecchino is the only one who has it basekit but some of the Fontaine Forgable Weapons also apply bond of life
im pretty sure they are talking about the bonuses this weapon’s passive gives, which you wouldn’t get by using other weapons as they can’t give BoL to characters other than it’s user and aren’t even the same type of weapon, so no clue what your point is supposed to be
but its says it gives you BoL if you charge atk…
yeah, once every 14 seconds, and unless you aren’t healing there’s no way to activate the second half of the passive since you need to stack more than one BoL, and on top of that you’d only gain that benefit on second rotation, pretty obvious why that’s bad if you exert the slightest amount of reading comprehension
Buffs here are not so big anyways. For Arlecchino it makes her rotation five hits longer and a bit stronger, which is great, but not must have, and boosts her damage by additional 20%, which is not big at all. The rest of the passive can be used by others, even if it’s bad cause bond is a debuff after all For Arlecchino this weapon gives 32% damage bonus, which is big, but not overwhelming. For others – a pain in ass and 12% dmg.
Despite the aesthetic extasy from scythe transformation in Arlecchino’s arms, 22 crit rate is kinda small. Some stat stick with working passive can become even better because of bigger crit factor and your own account situation. Staff of scarlet sands may become better if playing reaction Arlecchino in vape team with Bennet and you’re lacking of CR, etc.
I think this weapon is fair, even if Arle only. It’s not HSR WHERE SUPPORT BIS LC GIVES 10 TEAMVIDE CR AND 32 CD AND WORKS ONLY ON A SINGLE CHARACTER
mmmm. Barbecued Bat
Does anyone know if the scythe looks/animations are directly observed on the polearm and allow any polearm user to have a scythe, or it is strictly when it is used on Arlecchino ?
si it just pjws with bond of life. cool
can Primordial Jade Winged-Spear repalce this thing for Alrec?
Definitely. I’m not sure about the math but it should be pretty good considering it’s passive
The Staff of Homa 2.0
Tectone must be happy
staff and homa + wolf’s gravestone all in one
Tectone deserved it anyway. Moreso, he deserves it more now than it did back then.
True
damn, not only is arly gated by new world boss drops, but her weapon’s gated by new mob drops. The Hoyo Classic.
thats how it literally always is
the X.2/X.6 curse
better not hear anybody say if this is good on anybody else but arle. answer is no
Sigs never are now, its just a stat stick as usual
It’s Xiao best in slot if you let yourself get hit by 2 fatui agent on floor 12 abyss and don’t run a healer.
Not really, it’s a good stat stick for almost any polearm dps (Xiangling, Xiao, Raiden, Cyno, Rosaria etc) besides Hu Tao who doesn’t benefit from high base atk (still better than r1 Dragon’s Bane though). Using 1 charged attack at the start of your damage rotation is also super easy so the 12% damage passive is constantly in effect.
yaoyao weapon <3
Hu Tao in Xianyun Furina teams
basically the first ever Weapon Skins in Genshin, Arlecchino is special character
This weapon’s passive is the same with the fontaine craftable catalyst.
It is in fact not
that weapon requires the BoL to be cleared to benefit, this weapon wants you to actively have BoL
Looks like an impaled bat on a stick ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not when Arlecchino has something to say about it >:)
I can’t unsee it now aaaaaaaaaa
