Dude just get a blackcliff? I have used Blackcliff on him, does awesome at R1, used Skyward Spine at him, does same damage as Blackcliff R1 at 0 stacks but more uptime, and now I finally have PJWS. Seriously it isn’t hard getting a blackcliff. He’s one of the very rare characters after all who can use the Blackcliff series.
Weird that this one is coming with the desert part of Sumeru since both the color and the shape make it seem more like something you’d get from Mondstadt.

Just a cyno f2p wep, literally trash on pretty much everyone else besides maybe xiangling, but then why would you not use dragons bane instead?
Yo have you checked the Xiangling weapon damage comparison chart? Dragon’s Bane R3 does almost same damage as Catch (i have both), but even the worst polearms of Xiangling can perform at around at least 90% of catch R5. And Dragons Bane was hydro too right? Maybe Candace if you are getting out of options…?

in damage yes, in buff no

and no, wavebreakers finn is better if you want lots of atk, since you already aiming at shenhe build into ATK\ATK\ATK with ATK% substats and 2p2p Glad/Shim. With wavebreaker’s fin 620 base atk you can get lots of atk from atk% mainstats and substats. yeah, you will kinda need ER hourglasses then or gather decent ER in substats, but it’s not that difficult. and either way you need ER with both weapons, so… nope, this weapon kinda sucks on shenhe. better get favonius lmao
for xiangling, the catch is way better (burst uptime, burst dmg and burst crit rate) unless it is being used by other character like raiden, however i think R5 dragon’s bane is better than this IMO (221 EM and 36% bonus dmg on hydro/pyro status)
this is probably an f2p option for Cyno (if you don’t have crit rate/crit dmg weapon like Deathmatch or Blackcliff)
