Item Story
"Perhaps even the sun is but a dim star before the deep, long night," "But though fate be cruel and deceitful, it has never taken hope from us." "Courage and memory have forged your throne, death and sacrifice piled as firewood for your rekindling," "Oh unconquered sun, you who have shone upon generations unnumbered, bear witness now to Natlan's ideals and its future!" Like the first ray of light cast by the awakening day, like dawn piercing through the hedge of night. When the great dragon who defied the heavens bowed its head, the long campaign finally reached an end. Stepping across the long and bloodied stair, the leader of the mortals reached for the primal flame, unquenched within the ineffable city, Though the people who had crushed the shackles laid upon them by another race had yet to learn the fate that awaited them. Before the fire-stealing sage could speak, the god who pronounced death came forth without warning and showed the human Archon the arc of fate. It was a terrifying vision beyond human ken, a future with even less hope than draconic tyranny. All life would be devoured by boundless darkness, turned into inorganic dust within the eternal abyss. The human Archon, whose domain was war, knew then that Natlan was not yet victorious, for a new war had now begun. The dragon sage's foresight had told of Natlan's future rulers, one like a manticore, one like a wild fox. But he did not expect to come to revere the wisdom and cunning of Xbalanque, the Pyro Archon. The human Archon bartered with "death" for power, and the wisest of dragons too submitted to his plans. But he had never intended to submit to the rules, nor did he ever consider fulfilling his oath to the one who had stolen the flame. By the name "Haborym," life had become the sacred flame unquenchable, and the rules would be crafted into a divine throne ever-blazing. People would choose to fight back with courage and perseverance, even in the face of horrors and despair beyond comprehension. Of course, short-lived lives would surely burn out, but the sunlight would disperse the darkness again and again. For the first sun that shone over the land of blazing fire saw something in the primal flame, in the ashes, in the eyes of countless people... He saw the tainted one, defiled and devoured by the black abyss, yet nonetheless fighting to the last for humanity's sake. He saw the artisan whose eyes were dyed with golden tears, who, alongside the crimson-eyed youth, ensured that the Sacred Flame would endure. He saw the lost tribe wandering the land, their warriors still fighting for freedom, He saw the warm blood, offered unto the burning sparks of stars that lit up the long night, until a thousand suns had risen... "Lord of the Night, I entreat you, chronicle this, the first sun — the first Ancient Name, 'Kiongozi.'" "I shall leave hope for the future. So long as the flame does not die, there shall still be 'hope.'" |

“This effect can trigger once every second, and the max duration increase is 6s.”
a very retard thing
that means if she’s offield the uptime is not 100%
“and its duration will not count down when the equipping character is off-field.”
Bruh
while Beacon of the Reed Sea has some sort of synergy with Diluc’s constellations, I suppose this one is going to be much better for him. I don’t miss anything about the BRS, do I?
If I hold down Beidou skill, will that give her the cd an atk or only after I let go?
Usually it’s upon pressing an ability, so buff will start it’s timer the moment you press E
一把超模的武器
Will this weapon’s passive work on her elemental skill as a sub-DPS?
does this weapon good for kinich?
he will only gain the benefits for the first 6s since he cannot proc the time duration increase . But its still going to do insanely well on him, I imagine better than wolf gravestone at least and almost the same as beacon of the reed sea. Beacon will probably be a tiny bit better purely because of the fat 33 crit rat meaning kinich with obsidian needs almost no crit rate and can go full crit damage.
Would this potentially work on Navia? I doubt it’d be better than R5 Serpent Spine, but if I’m gonna skip Mavuika, I figure her weapon might be worth rolling for instead.
A thousand island dressing
If its just r1 TBS than it will be close. Haven’t done calcs but 16 more crit rate and 40 dmg bonus compared to 240 more base atk, 20%crit damage, 28% atk bonus(with permanent uptime if you normal attack after skill 2/3 times). The damage will be quite close between the 2.
a thousand floating dreams
a thousand blazing suns
… a thousand [insert here for tsarisa]
Can’t forget about A Thousand Complaints From Players Who Are Still Just Going To Pull Anyway.
a thousand cold hearts
a thousand loving souls
a thousand frozen tears
a thousand rivers run into the sea
So if I get this thing to R5 and put it on Diluc he would be getting 48% crit dmg and 64% attack, while Mavuika would be getting 72% crit dmg and 96% attack with night soul, and essentially permanent? That sounds crazy, can’t wait to whale. Pretty much anybody can equip it and become a powerhouse
why 48 64 xd? It says 40 and 56
nightsoul: 70%cd and 98% atk* am i wrong?
beta changes
You are not wrong, but you are late
They seemed to have nerfed the sword a bit- it used to be 48%CD/64% ATK with a 50% boost for Nightsoul until not too long ago
It’t not that good, only lasts 6s but 10s cooldown.
“its duration is increased by 2s after Normal or Charged attacks deal Elemental DMG. This effect can trigger once every second, and the max duration increase is 6s”
12 second duration total, permanent buff depending on character
nope it actually permanent in Diluc case since he can always deal elemental damage with his normal and charge attack ( consider you can burst after rotation ), so the effect can be extended infinitely
you didn’t read the full effect, doing elemental damages will extend the duration of the effect by 2s up to 6s so you can have it indef
Please whale for me!?
Is it better for diluc than wgs?
definitely! it gives a big atk and crit dmg boost while wgs only gives atk. also the main stat is crit rate so that’s a plus.
