    • bow units first (especially barbara), then super mario, last but not least lupin III, and only if you want try to use it with claymore wielding charas (i can’t assure it works)

  2. wiat what?! 740atk and 11 rate?
that’s a win for everyone who are not pulling for knich but thought to pull for this weapon…
high atk is for sure very good, but considering shit RNG unfortunately crit always has higher value… now I can’t think this on my claymore users, because their rate will drop down too much
well thanks retardhoyo! now it is an easy 100% skip

    • It’ll be difficult to keep the buffs with Diluc. Burning reactions are constantly triggered by the Dendro units, not by Pyro units. Meaning once the enemy is “Burning” applying pyro doesn’t trigger Burning, Dendro does.

      • nope, its stated here that any of the party member who triggers burning/burgeon (party wide condition) and can be triggered whether on-field or off-field

to make it simple, as long as any of your characters (or party member if co-op) triggers a burning or burgeon, the weapon wielder will get the buff

so basically, the buff can be used with diluc but requires a dendro-pyro reaction (no dendro = no effects for him) unless the enemies are innate dendro

  3. This weapon got a massive nerf from 33 Crit Ratio to 11 Crit Ratio, and a little less ATK.

Whoever Kinnich gets paired with in 5.0, don’t pull on the Weapon Wish Event.

    • The nerf its because the intended artifact set to use with Kinich gives you like 40 crit rate, they are balancing things, it would be too easy to build up the crit rate without the nerf

    • for a crit rate weapon on an atk scaler that gets a lot of crit rate from different sources this is not a nerf at all, rather a buff

    • That’s not a nerf, base atk and substats on weapons are inversely proportional

5* crit weapons look like this (the decimals may be slightly off):
      44-542 base atk – 88.2 crit value
      46-608 base atk – 66.2 crit value
      48-674 base atk – 44.1 crit value
      49-741 base atk – 22 crit value

the difference of 67 base atk on a character with multipliers of over 1000% atk is pretty big especially since he’ll struggle to keep Bennett’s buff

This is also the first weapon to have a 741 base atk and a crit substat

      • according to my (slightly scuffed because I’m not super experienced) calculations, the new change is a ~5-10% nerf to theoretical damage if you can convert all of the crit rate into more crit damage, but considering how with the old weapon + artifact set you would have a 78.1 crit rate by default, you’d basically be forced to only roll crit damage on all your pieces to not overcap and waste crit rate, which is nearly impossible. with the change you can be a lot more flexible with the pieces you use.

and even besides that, the weapon still looks to be a ~30% increase over the new craftable, and ~10/20% over R5/R1 serpent spine (without bennett, if you can keep his buff uptime it’s more like ~4/12%), which has a similar crit rate issue as the old signature

        • Having Clorinde I can say farming artifacts and avoiding CR rolls is annoying
Say you have 3 CR subs on the circlet and 1 on each other piece and that’s enough to cap crit rate for him with old sig

          • yeah, I agree the new change is probably better for almost every player. The main downside I can think of with this is that it makes the weapon less viable for characters with less base crit rate or who don’t care about base atk as much, if you’re HP scaling or aggravating for example.

  4. this weapon is the first one after a lot of time which isn’t strictly tailored made to a chara
it seems it can work with everyone in burgeon-burning team, without any particular condition
and it seems also a very good alternative for dehya for example
