Item Story
Legend has it that a thousand years ago, in the era when the foolish king was buried beneath the dunes, Many short-lived city-states were scattered throughout the barren, boundless, gilded land. This greatsword belongs to the dancer Makhaira, who was once the tyrant's concubine. With her ruthless sword dance, she won the king's favor as well as the prince's attention. The noble king of the decaying kingdom was obese and haughty, reveling in gourmet food, wine, and hunting all day and every day. No different from any other kings of that decadent age, he indulged himself in endless conquest, destruction, and the hoarding of loot. When all things sank into the dark night, the water-colored moonlight soothed the manic kingdom, and everything there fell asleep, The overweight tyrant could not bear the torpor and fell into a deep slumber amidst the misty voices of the Seelie, his snores echoing throughout his chambers like rolling thunder... The enchanting concubine had already seen the signs of destruction, so she polished her sword and prepared for one final dance. The young prince had already foreseen the signs of devastation, so he came to meet the distraught Makhaira at night. "What comes from the searing sands will eventually be buried beneath them. Even if the desert is as cold as ice on long nights, its fiery fate shall never be forgotten." "If this is your decision, then please do me a favor, and please allow me to contribute but a little something to this old country that has long since fallen." "Just a little revenge shall remove the burden on both our hearts. The one addicted to hunting shall finally be executed by the falcon he spoils." "My mother, a Jinni, taught me the seven-fold sword dance. If I win the throne for you, I shall no longer have to flatter others, and that will satisfy me." The conspiracy to bring down the kingdom was thus drawn up on the bed-mattress, and the gentle words of the lovers were also sharp blades. The tyrant thus returned to the land of searing sands in an ugly fashion, and the great cause of conquering kingdoms and harems finally vanished into thin air. The rise and fall of the city-state were but a drunken dream, during which the kind and the evil alike were crushed by an immense millstone like wheat husks. The concubine adept at her sword-dancing failed to become the queen in the end, and the wise old retainer who survived to tell the story too lost his eyes. The displaced, thrown into the sea of sand by the whirlpool that consumed everything, became wanderers or mercenaries before being engulfed by the forest... |

Another way they can word it is 32% attack for every hundred or so Elemental mastery a character has…..so if they have 240 EM for example, it would be 62% attack……might be too high of a scaling so I guess 32% for every 250 EM might work. Then add an upper limit.
Its not like that
If you have 240 EM then..
240 × 32% = 76.8 flat attack buff
i knew because i set the website to my native language
That wording is kinda……what? Either they have the % scaling wrong or they mean to say 36% of EM as ATK….
Looks similar to the sword that Al-Haitham was using in the animated Sumeru promotional video.
Because it is from the same series of weapons my guy just like countless other weapons that come in a set like Fav, sac, jade, millennial movement etc
For sure it’s a mistake, although 0.32 doesn’t sound right either, im thinking 0.032 for sure, it would keep it in line with Al haithams sword aswell as that’s 0.032 recharge
Doing just a bit of calc with 0.32 and at 800 em that’s 256 atk% while providing around 85% atk to all party members while also stacking with other people using it AND only being r1. that’s simply just far too much.
0.032 is a far more realistic 25.6% atk at 800 em while giving around 8.5% to all party members, sounds shitty but keep in mind that this is at half potential being r1.
R5 would be 51.2% personal atk% and around 17% to all party members, still kinda meh but again it can be stacked up, although really the only character that can benefit from holding the sword is sayu
So yes, sayu buff
It’s just whacky pre-localization text being its usual self. If you google translate the chinese description it actually makes a bit more sense:
“Every 10 seconds, the following effects will be produced: Based on 32% of the element proficiency of the wearer, the attack power of the character will be increased, and the attack power of other nearby characters in the team will be increased based on the 30% of the increase for 12 seconds.”
These weapons are clearly made for characters that should already have a ton of EM due to scaling off it. In which case 32% of EM being converted to ATK at r1 and 64% at r5 seems perfectly reasonable.
32% for what ???
yea i dont think this should be able to give 64000% atk boost
Sayu buff Sayu buff Sayu buff Sayu buff Sayu buff
sayu wep?
its a beidou sword for me
Me who has R5 Rainslasher (bcoz I wanted a single alley flash, which I didn’t get)
It HAS to be 0.32% atk and not 32% because that’s insane . Just off the 165 EM that claymore provides , that would be 5280% atk . for free . Yeah I doubt it .
I bet it’s a typo and the actual effect is attack is increased by 32% of elemental mastery, so at 1k em it’s about a 320 point buff. Pretty good at high refinement, just not 32000% base attack which would be stupid
Doesn’t explain the fact that it lasts 12 seconds but has 10 second cooldown and triggers off-field though
considering the sword version, it has to be 0.032%
yeah, that way having 1000 EM will give you 32% ATK which is alright on R1. On R5 it’s 64% and it’s quite good, because you also share it with your friends (21.3% or so). Kinda decent sword, but tbh, aside from Sayu, there are no other characters who can use it, because everyone has a better 4* alternative with both Diluc and Beidou using Rainslasher and Dori kinda needs ER so Favonius.
it’s probably right but the wording is just weird. instead of “32%” the should have used 0.32. This means that 100 EM will give 32 ATK (flat atk and not atk%)
32% = 32/100 = 0.32
32% = 32/100 = 0.32, same thing man
My guess is Dori will be able to make really good use of it
