Item Story

So this sword benefit on Infused Element skill. For example E skill keqing (no charge wpn attack case) after launch her E skill and press again to blink and her attack become infused electro attack, and when do normal attack the weapon (Light of Foliar Incision) will active, am I right?

Mistplitter because you can’t apply element with traveler’s NA except if you use C6 Bennett/Chongyun who’ll give you a wrong element (except if you do something like melt or vape stuff somehow) or Candace if you want to bloom but then EM if you play with pyro/electro enabler the EM on traveler will suck.

Is this good on a DPS Kazuha? I main Kazuha with my c6 Bennett, been currently using the Mistsplitter on my anemo boy but I really like to test different builds on him (I do not care for the meta, I care for the fun!). I might pull this weapon for him, thinking about a mixed build with CRIT DMG and EM…
He’s currently c0 but I’ll look forward for his c2 on the next rerun. Any opinions on this?

Looks pretty good on him, too bad it doesn’t work with his Burst though, and having to do a Normal Attack first can be annoying. His Burst hits so hard and hits so many times, my C0 Iron Sting Kazuha does over 100k per Burst after factoring in reactions, and he just spams Burst.
Without the aid of his Burst though, it might be tough to get the full 28 instances since his Normal Attacks are useless. Also, I don’t fully know what 120% of EM means. I assume it’s gonna be a flat damage, meaning 1000 EM will add a flat 1200 damage. 28 instances would make it 34,000, which is quite low especially if you can’t get the full 28 but it should be affected by Damage bonuses and multipliers, making it much better.
Extra effects on weapons aren’t game breaking anyways, so if you can get at least 50k damage every 12 seconds from it, it’s pretty good, I guess.
120% EM is like Tighnari’s weapon passive so it’s a flat dmg bonus. But it’s not as simple as 34k more dmg because it depends over what weapon it is compared; and the multipliers yeah. Also with this weapon it shouldn’t be a 1000 EM Kazuha.
Could it be useful for an EM team with nahida and ayato?
I don’t know why ppl hate this weapon I mean it already sounds strong. alhaitham can reach really high em values with nahida+glided dreams, with em sands and dendro synergy he reaches 690 that’s without em substats, with a sucrose or a c2 kazuha, him at c2 and/or nahidas weapon it’s more. so let’s say 900 somewhat em depending on what you have. he should also reach sth like 1300 atk.
this weapon grants 120% extra em scaling. his mirror at level 10 has 120.96% ATK + 241.92% Elemental Mastery
with this weapon it is a increase to 241.92+120=361.92% em scaling thats a 49,6% better scaling
since the atk scaling of the mirrors has half the scaling of em I just half his atk value for easier calculations so he ends up with 650 atk. 650/1000= 0,65
so 0,65=65% of the dmg comes from his em.
now let’s multiply it 0,496*0,65=0,3224 => 32% more dmg with his mirrors and he doesn’t even has to do the mirrors. the dmg from this passive is the same for 28 dmg instances including his normal attack. so the overall dmg should be even a bit higher. I just used the mirror as an exemple because it’s where his dmg comes from. ALSO this weapon has 96 cv what is already a pretty amazing stat stick.
compare this with f.e. mistsplitter and ayaka (this is just the first char which came in my mind, I like ayaka I would never trash her on purpose:3).
her sword gives 40% motion value and has 44cv on mistsplitter
kazuha buffs at least 40 motion value and 46.6 are on goblet mainstat. so she ends up with around 186.6 motion value. with the sword passive she ends up with 226.6 motion value what is a increase of 21.5% from 226.6 to 186.6.
more than 32% dmg with 96 cv compared to 21.5% with 44 cv that’s hugh but alhaitham really needs it I guess 😡 I also understand why they nerfed it pretty hard.

– Only if you have a lot of EM the sword is slightly better than jade cutter.
– If not, jade cutter is better.

i definitely agree it could be more value then mistsplitter with a high or even mid investment Ayaka for sure my Ayaka at current levels is at 95% max crit rate 40% is her base then 4-piece blizzard strayer is 40% then 15% with cryo resonance. So, you can bet I’m going for this weapon, and he crit dmg is about 217% at level 87 mistsplitter so at level 90 it 220% and this weapon adds an extra 44% crit dmg that’s 264%/99% and most characters could definitely use the crit dmg and rate boost

Will this be good for ayaka with c6 diona? seems to be an insane stat stick for my ayaka to hit 300%+ cd with 100% cr (with blizzard strayer effect ofc).
at a point, Ayaka would actually prefer more atk than even crit dmg.
actually this weapon isnt that far off from mistsplitter, but i would reconsider pulling the weapon i heard jade spear is gonna be the second weapon which is a standard weapon.
with Alhaitham’s shift to atk, this shit isn’t gonna do him that much tbh. Might skip it if you already have Mistsplitter.
It’s still EM > attack priority. The majority of his damage comes from his skill which scales better with EM than with attack, his A4 scales on EM and Dendro obviously wants EM for reactions. The problem with Mistsplitter is really just how much bonus dmg Althaitham already gets without it.
This pisses me off that they nerfed it. I was actually excited at the prospect of the 200% EM with less Crit rate. But now it’s lowered again. Why not a 150/160% EM buff? I don’t see how this weapon is overpowered in their eyes, it’s so restrictive, working for only a handful of characters.
Man, devs gently hints to you, skip this shit, and wait. Just wait for patch 3.7 and the end of sumeru, there will be plenty to choose from. Probably. Сhoose one dendro char and let it gather dust, sooner or later you will be able to use it.
just skip him or atleast pass the first run you can always wish him in the rerun also more dendro is coming like Baizhu who might be 5 star dendro healer that + Nahida might be the best off field dendro aplications also alhaitham don’t do big dick numbers with reactions like like melt and vapo
Yeah, skip him and wait for other characters whose kits we know almost nothing about instead. Or just play melt and vape for the next 3 years. Dendro is completely unusable right now. Only Nahida can get you 36 stars in the Abyss.
