Fate points change means I can now guarantee C0R1 and potentially get Ei’s weapon too
…This is about Kinich
dang they made capitano with the generic skinny guy model, fucking sucks, like at least add some mass to it or something
varka is the last bastion of hopium for buff playable dudes (ain’t happening ever at this point)
the 5* selector is cool and all but will they ever fix the bugs these characters have?
qiqi skill description implies she’s is supposed to heal off-field characters as well when their skills hit marked enemies but she doesn’t.
she’s already the top healer when her mark is applied anyways but being cryo and with her 0 energy regen and 80 cost burst she’s already nerfed enough for her mark to work like it’s supposed to, it would just make her a bit stronger as a sustain character, wouldn’t really put her above anyone in utility since she lacks being a useful element, having good icd or aoe application and off-field characters already tend to be fine with just the heal from using burst. it wouldn’t even break furina teams, qiqi heals so much that she already caps fanfare stacks easily
mona c1 does not increase freeze duration. freeze teams are already dead for floor 12 as hoyo has been designing enemies and chambers in ways to discourage it, why not give them at least this?
this c1 also says it improves ALL hydro reactions, but they never bothered to include bloom in it, unlike they did with all electro or pyro passives or equipment effects including their related dendro reactions when it released. it’s not like bloom will suddenly be op with a +15% damage for 5 seconds when nilou or kaveh already give way more than that and at best it’d be 1% more damage given how stacking these buffs work and how shitty her hydro application, energy generation and uptime are
they could also give it 15% more aoe which might be fun but probably insignificant, but just include it
keqing charged attack costs more than it should, it’s not like she would suddenly become s tier if it didn’t, her combos and teams already tend to have enough spare stamina but would still be a bit of nice qol to lower it to the standard of all the other sword users.
if mika’s lower cost was a “bug” I can’t see why keqing’s higher cost isn’t
they also removed her thunderclap thingy, why can’t she get at least this?
dehya’s many, many bugs, too much for me to keep writing an essay on it
With the standard selector, fate point reduction and artifact crafter, Genshin just became so much less of an RNG hell
We asked, they listened. Well done guys. Genshin is great again…
For now.
my honest reaction when the devs finally bothered to do the bare fucking minimum
dang they made capitano’s body generic tall slim male #69
they are going to fumble him so hard like dottore
He looks a similar size to Wriothesley which isn’t skinny it’s still a huge improvement over Al-Haitham, I thought everyone already accepted they’re mor making more character models
wrio is skinny my guy doesn’t matter how much the textures on the model or the jacket giving a false sensation of wideness might want to make you cope
For anyone who’s too busy to praise hoyo for its benevolence for 5.0 artifacts system, and too brainwashed to understand the full story: they are giving us double crit stuff, yes, but they don’t guarantee how it will roll.
So don’t cry if it will roll into shit after this even more fooling around. This is precisely what they want, because they know how gullible the community is: thinking they “finally listened”. While they don’t; they only try to do something which resembles it.
We want the artifact, not the possibility to get it – unless you’re a hopeless gambler. And being so close to it but conditional, will make it even worse. Just imagine how mentally frustrating: you follow this, you get that double roll, and it ends up being shit the same.
Not to mention how long it will take, so basically waiting for weeks and no final result guaranteed.
If this result is guaranteed to and I’m wrong, I beg my pardon. If the result is what I say and it’s still random shit gatcha: prove me wrong. (but use your brain)
ill summarize it. “Please don’t enjoy genshin impact, this is just a ploy cos it’s a dying game!” another summary. “Patch is not good cos my artifact loadout and skip button is not there!”
It’s a gacha game idk what you expected
The substats rolls will always be there but being able to guarantee them in the first place is infinutely better than not
I mean there’s many other gacha games where equipment systems are ez and way more streamlined without too much or any rng, being gacha doesn’t mean it has to have these mechanics, these kind of systems used to be more of a mmo thing honestly
But every other gacha that has copied genshin has also copied the bad with layers and layers of rng equipment systems so eh (genshin itself copies a lot of stuff btw)
Name those kind of games that is the same as genshin. Mobile, free, open world, has unique combat mechanics, no PVP, no PAYWALL.
I can tell you right now. Kings raid has the best in this kind of thing. You can edit all the gears substats but it TAKES ALOT OF RESOURCES AND TIME.
i did’nt expect anything bro, just stating it, because as you can read from comments on youtube 99,9% of people are as always stupid as rocks, believing they’ll finally have the artifact they wished for; while this is false and even worse in the bad side of the coin. Better than not as you say? theoretically, if you get it; but if you miss the rolls, it’s worse for the reasons I said. You’ll be thinking “after 4 years they gave us this”, and still have shit at the end of the day.
And anyways saying “gatcha game” doesn’t automatically mean that everything should be gatcha. Otherwise why not doing it literally on everything? why not random books for leveling talents and experience? etc
gatcha game is gatcha game, not gatcha everything
but hey, let’s update next month. If it happens your “desidered artifact” with double crit will roll into flat defense, tell me again and loudly “it was better than not”.
I’ll 100% believe you
Who knows maybe if you just accept the nice gadget you’ll get the artifact you always wanted instead of complaining about a system which has no drawback
a system that has several drawbacks albeit less than before*
like i get it, cool, we finally got something, after 4 years, but let’s not pretend it’s perfectly fine when it isn’t
I meant the addition has no drawbacks
It is purely a positive addition that doesn’t interfere with your existing artifact farming
That better for you?
bro let them be in their depressed corner. getting ONE good piece regardless of shitty rolls is WAY better than spending 5 condensed resin every day getting nothing but def pieces w/ flat subs, strong boxing them and STILL receiving shit
The artifact thing is fantastic because it bypasses FIVE stages of rng. You’re insane to think that’s not still good despite the rolls while raising a piece are still up for grabs. You get to pick the set, slot, main stat, and TWO substats. A double crit on set goblet of whatever elemental damage you need is fantastic even if it entirely rolls flat def afterwards, because you can make that up with any cracked artifact in another slot. I’m sure you have plenty of good flowers or feathers that could make up a non-perfect rolled goblet.
Thank you for being sane…
yes thank you for being sane
i give up, if you don’t get my point it’s your problem, but it was not my purpose to convince anybody
hoyo will thank you
and if you can, drop a good money next patch 😉
Good, please do give up, and I won’t be dropping money on next patch because I don’t want to
Thing is, an artifact with pre-existing substats aren’t weighed against your favor. Each substat has equal weight of 25% chance, and each substat will have decreased probability past the 1st to roll again. You’re more likely for a double crit on-set goblet to roll crit or crit dmg once than not. Its 39.55% vs 23.73%. And since either crit or crit dmg is ideal, then odds in your favor is 79.1% for at least 1 additional crit roll.
But regardless of that, even having an on-set 12CV goblet can be made up by an off-set top tier feather or flower, maybe from the maidens beloved set. If a flower or feather doesn’t have strong enough rolls to keep in place, then an on-set goblet with a third of its roll value will let you have so much flexibility for balancing crit ratio and other substats with using feather/flower off piece. It’s just that big.
There is a lot less RNG with rolling substats towards crit or crit dmg than in obtaining an on-set elemental goblet with crit and crit dmg in the first place.
any Will Hunting here? I have a math problem for you:
Been playing since release, I only have 1 geo cup with both crit rate and goblet. The inventory is almost full of 5* artifacts, and it’s countless how many I threw away. I have dozens of elemental cups like that, but the geo one is absurdly cursed. It’s like a meme for me: I never expect it drops, and so it does.
To make it more difficult, if i count just one substats (either crit rate or damage) it’s still on the bottom: I have 4 geo cups, while the second lowest is 9.. (Pyro like 12-13). I even have more dendro, despite being the newest add
How’s possibile? why is this shit so absurdly shitty?
people really need to boycott this shit system/game, I can’t switch that goblet to every geo dps (aassuming the full set is done)
An issue of luck, my brother.
If we had that Self-Modelling Resin thing from SR into here, it’ll make our lives easier, but I am not one to trash talk on game companies in order to add this or add that.
Well something like that is leaked so we can hope
But yeah, big luck issue
Can we display what ‘up’ is in the future?
Never farm for perfect substats, it’s a lost cause and not even worth it.
The chance for crit stats in this game has been proven and tested to be skewed lower than other stats. In combination, they intentionally avoid putting crit stats on weapons/characters that are not 5-star or battlepass related.
It’s all to fuel your frustration and convince you to spend more money. Like any gambling slot machine, luck won’t help you if the game is mechanically rigged.
This is why I love and invest on my Geo Traveler, 100% CR Rosaria and C4 Mona (got lucky on that last one)
Long live the crit rate buffers
im going to make a wild guess and assume the pyro archon will buff reaction damage, or just damage% if doing reactions
given the new sets, weapons and recent kits it seems to be pointing in that direction imo
If that’s the case then yeah. All of the archons are basically powerful supports for your team.
Venti can CC
Zhongli can Shield
Raiden can Energy
Nahida can Elemental Reactions
and Furina can HP
We’ll have to wait and see what the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa does, but who knows what she does, buff CRIT Rate/DMG?
tsaritsa is rosaria powercreep and cryo xingqiu (it was revealed to me in a dream)
maybe mavuika give crit or cdmg? because furina can do that %damage boost and nahida can em boost
@yor forger
lmao you wrote the same thing i thought (it wasn’t approved yet or i didn’t see it)
considering both nahida and furina are related to dmg increase, it would be bad if she does the same
she needs something different
like crit rate or crit damage, considering how rare it is
So I can’t even attempt the IT hard mode this season because I don’t have enough characters built
Opening characters: Furina, Barbara, Ayaka, Diana, Xiao, Faruzan
Eligible characters I have built: Kazuha, Wriothesley, Nahida, Neuvilette, Jean, Childe, Layla, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Dehya
Eligible characters I don’t have built and why:
Emilie: She’s not even out yet
Sucrose: I don’t have her C6 and have no teams who need her
Lynette: I don’t need either a VVer or a 4* DPS
Kaeya, Rosaria: I’ve never had any need for a cryo sub-dps
Qiqi. Barbara, Sayu, Mika, Charlotte, Diona: I don’t often use any defensive supports
Freminet, Heizou: I have enough DPSes, I don’t need 4* ones
Chongyun: …why would I?
So I’m locked out of the max rewards for this mode, and unless I either pull more eligible characters or waste resources on pointless ones I can not get those rewards
Thing is I could EASILY clear the whole thing without building those 2 extra characters so the restriction is completely unnecessary.
Just upgrade random ass characters levels to “use” them. Given the easiness of IT you can easily clear without actually fully building them and only having them as dead weight or at least for some slight buffs, elemental application and/or elemental resonance
For some buff examples, use Barbruh with Neuv instead of Furina and save Furi for someone else. if you have her c2 you could use her skill every other rotation to increase Neuv’s damage somewhat
Mika might be good for Rizzly, although I’m not sure if faster attack speed is grief given he consumes more hp with it. Diano c6 is also good for melt, but her base shield + healing might just be enough too
Lynette also gives some atk% on burst, she’s not just VV or DPS, she might be useable on Ayka or Childe teams
Rosaria shares CR but she needs to be built for that. Depending on your Dehya build she might be a good forward melt support (assuming Dehya does damage and can get burst back)
And you should probably build sucrose anyways, c6 is not necessary and IMO she’s very much better than Kaz on almost any dendro related teams except burning/burn related ones. She’s good on burgeon tho
You should try to get enough ER for consistent bursting with some characters, for those I mentioned Diano (if c6), Lynette and Rosaria but we have an entire month anyways, so good luck

Devs listened (to me specifically, they read this exact comment and decreased the requirements just for me obviously)
Brothers, does this website have zzz
