You must breach the depths of this unpredictable Domain, for only by defeating powerful foes can the turmoil be quelled… Of course, where danger awaits, so too do extraordinary treasures… Reach Adventure Rank 20, and complete the Archon Quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” (Complete the Archon Quest “Perilous Trail” to get the best experience from this event.) 1. Difficulty: During “Stygian Onslaught,” players can pick from 6 difficulty levels. In ascending order, they are “Normal,” “Advancing,” “Hard,” “Menacing,” “Fearless,” and “Dire.” From the “Hard” difficulty onward, you can only unlock the next difficulty by clearing the current one. For every difficulty level, players must complete three battles. Each battle has its own time limit, and you must defeat all enemies within the allotted time to complete the corresponding battle. The higher the initial difficulty selected, the more “Ley Line Disturbance” restrictions will be applied during the challenge, and the tougher enemies will be. 2. “Eminence” and “Exalted Ones”: After all players complete challenges on Dire in Solo mode, their current party will be granted “Eminence,” and when they complete Dire challenges while completing Perilous Objectives, the current party will be granted the more powerful “Enduring Eminence.” Every player cannot have a single character repeatedly receive “Eminence” or “Enduring Eminence” from the same source, but any of the latter a character receives will replace the former if the character previously had it. A character with sufficient “Eminence” will become an “Exalted One,” granting them a powerful “Eminent Boon” in Normal, Advancing, Hard, Menacing, and Fearless challenges, which will assist players in completing them quickly. There can be a maximum of 16 “Exalted Ones” at any one time, and when data updates occur, characters with the most “Eminence” will become the new “Exalted Ones.” 3. Co-Op Challenges: “Stygian Onslaught” allows multiple players to form a team and attempt a Co-Op Mode challenge. In a Co-Op Mode challenge, different players cannot select the same character. They will all be affected by any “Ley Line Disturbances.” Additionally, the combat power of your opponent(s) will be changed to that of the Co-Op challenge for the corresponding difficulty. This combat power will not change according to the number of challenge participants. 4. Disturbance Outbreak Rewards: In the 10 days after the challenge is available, the Ley Line Disturbance will be in an “Outbreak” state. Players with Adventure Rank 45 and above can challenge stages at “Hard” difficulty onwards, and upon completing them, can consume Original Resin, Condensed Resin, Fragile Resin, or Transient Resin to revitalize special disturbance-affected Ley Line Blossoms and obtain rewards from their chosen Domains of Blessing. They will also accumulate Dire Prestige, which will let them obtain more rewards. |
