  1. I was expecting for the day we’d get (more) healers or shielders that scale off of EM
But wasn’t expecting them to be fuckin Cryo
At least it ain’t Geo but I’m guessing EM ain’t gonna be all that useful realistically (other than for her own scaling), unlike someone like Kuki, especially since her passive kinda incentivizes keeping a Cryo aura, which means she won’t get to trigger many reactions (not that Cryo already had many useful ones anyways)

20 secs of shielding is wild tho
Also gotta wait and see her ICD but I’m guessing you still gonna need to have double Cryo teams with either Rosaria, Kaeya C6 (good luck getting that one) or burst support Ganyu to keep up the pace of the Pyros (all the other Cryos are shit at off-field application)

    • shes going to be the best off field cryo applyer in the game now, and the shield was just an added bonus imo, and her focus is reactions,,,, IT ANNOYS ME, that she dosnt get an electro shread… but shes amazing as is. and i will 100% get her to use with my pyro arcon

  2. Why Shenhe and Citlalli, Cryo’s dedicated supports are 5 stars?, when other element dedicated supports have almost the same kit but are 4 stars.
Man is so frustrating, they lock some potentiall behind constalletions, in 4 stars I can understand it, but in a c6 of a 5 star, why only on Cryos?

    • Somebody has to be the neglected child. The cycle started with hydro, went to Geo, now it’s Cryo.
But on thing is for sure, it will never be Pyro.

    • The most fun part of her – she’s not even Cryo support.. I think the only real cryo buffer is Shenhe (and C2 Xilonen, i guess), who is good only on C6. They really hate Cryo. See them make not more than 2 Cryo units in Snezhnaya and one of them is Tsaritsa, who will even not be a cryo support at all, but some reaction buffer for pyro characters or will have some hard restrictions locked to Snezhnaya’s mechanics (before C2 or C6 of course)

      • The precise reason behind cryo neglect is to milk out cash by making OP cryo characters from 6.0 onwards. For something to be powerful, something weak needs to exist, and the current situation of cryo units is the weak before 6.0

  3. so, she needs 50 nightsoul points to have her skill use its blizzard.

she gets 24 from using the skill

she gets 24 from using her burst
and then the first skull that hits gets her to 51.

her burst costs 60 energy, so she needs a bit of ER but not a ton. it looks like hitting that benchmark is really important to her.

      • If you don’t use her Q, she will need 2 triggers of A1 which will take at least 8s. It’s not a problem in Mavuika+Mualani teams though, since you only need Citlali’s Cryo application after Mualani finishes dealing damage, Citlali can trigger her A1 with a NA and the Cryo will last just long enough for Mavuika to melt off.

      • Am I the only one who thinks the 2400% → 1200% EM on her burst surely is annoying but does not affect much in the end?

Assuming 1000 EM, this passive provides 24000 base damage, which is roughly the same as 2 of Ganyu’s CAs, 2~3 ticks of Neuv’s CA, or 2~3 of Kokomi’s NAs during Q. Since Citlali generally doesn’t build Crit (it’s hard to have good Crit stats if you want to reach 1k EM anyways), Kokomi will be a better reference — which means either way (nerfed or pre-nerf) it doesn’t really do much, especially if without Furina.

  4. people calling her mid don’t get that she is pretty strong sustain/sub dps hybrid.

sad that she doesn’t shred cryo res but I believe it’s since she is designed to be the single cryo character in the team, likely for a hydro freeze dps (Neuvillette stays winning as always), or for a pyro carry where she will trigger melt while debuffing pyro res to boost the pyro carrots dps.

so this might be for Lyney, Kinich (f9r off field dps pyro mainly), Hu Tao, and Arlechino. we won’t get the full picture until advanced data on elemental units applied, ICD, and amount of hits estimated to be triggered is discovered. perhaps she will be a for a Rev melt co-dps for Mavuika-wriothesley team. citlali gives battle will to mavuika, Mavuika gives pyro app to Wriothesley, and Citlali re shred pyro for mavuika to go into a dps window after Wriothesley’s rotation is done.

    • she would also be a perfect 4th slot for a chasca team with bennett and furina. since chasca is so squishy, citlali’s shield can give her that extra bit of security, as well as being able to shred enemy hydro and pyro res on top of being able to carry the scroll artifact set.

  5. Frozen and Melt support that’s similar to Ororon’s electro-charged. Sucks that she doesnt also decrease cryo resistance but paired with Shenhe that probably will not be an issue. i wonder if she stacks with zhongli’s jade shield elemental resistance drop?

    Just some ideas:
    freeze/melt – mavuika/xiangling, shenhe, citlali, (hydro dps/support)
    freeze/melt/swirl – mavuika/xiangling, kazuha/sucrose, citlali, (hydro dps/support)
    burn/burgeon/freeze/melt – mavuika/xiangling, nahida/emilie, citlali, (hydro dps/support)

      • arlecchino?? neuvillette??? the 2 best dpses in the game right now want shields and they end up losing a ton of damage because zhongli is the best option and provides nearly no other utility

        • Zhongli provides the same amount of res shred than Citlali (UNIVERSALLY) and can use either Tenacity (just use your brain to move to the side for 0,1 seconds before holding skill so the pillar isn’t despawned by a boss) or Petra (this one actually kinda sucks to master, but can still be useful)

Just because he isn’t Kazuha or Furina level buffs doesn’t mean he does not provide any more utility than shielding, and I’m tired of pretending it’s the case just because some tcs keep calling him shit when he’s objectively not.

          • i never said he was shit, he’s just nearly purely a comfort unit. he has no optimal team in the game where he is the best choice, since he is across the board a loss of dps. obviously in some cases it’s necessary/extremely irritating to play without a shield, hes just currently the most flexible/inoffensive shielder right now and its simply because theres hardly any meaningful competition

  7. I wonder, would she get along with Mavuika?

i can only offer 2 characters from ( Mavuika- chasca- grandma Citlali )

Mavuika is my highest desired for sure

with only 250 wish available right now

    • she definitely has good synergies with her. Citlali helps pyro res shred and scroll buff your mavuika while also spending a good amount of nightsoul points to charge her burst.

I don’t think I’d recommend her as a pure meta take, but if you like her a decent amount and really want to play good Mavuika teams, i think she’s worth pulling. especially over chasca out of your 3 options.

      • Ehhh, shes more of a pyro/hydro support then a cryo support.. they dont want her to replace shenhe as the cryo shredder. but i wished granny shredded electro over hydro. but i guess they did that to get novolet mains to pull for her.
