     • Al haitham beats Nahida in hyperbloom comp.

       In hyperbloom, all Nahida does is apply dendro with very little dps. Raiden or kuki wont benefit that much from her EM bonus either. Now Alhaitham can offer decent on field dps while yelan and XQ do their off field dps and also while triggering hyperblooms.

   • Ayaka needs Shenhe/Rosaria/Diona for resonance, ER, and noblesse/shenhe buffs too.

     Yelan also benefits ALOT from having XQ in the same team as her, but they can be used together or in diff sides of the abyss. Same with Alhaitham and Nahida, can be same side or diff side of abyss. Literally only 2 limited dendro 5* units so far, Baizhu and Kaveh will probably be alternatives. For now there are only free unit options in DMC and Collei, but b/c theyre free, theyre not gna be as good. As more dendro units get released and fit into niche dendro teams, the better they will be with or without depending on nahida, she is just a generalist for dendro reactions and the only support now

         • @Kazuhoo – I still use Collei sometimes, but for 4* runs. I prefer DMC over Collei, comfy. I don’t know why some poeple sleep on their DMC.

           Otherwise, yes, for dendro app, Nahida is the best. But honestly, the “trigger only when reaction” part can be annoying sometimes in duo runs and force to play her onfield in 3H1D teams. xP

         • @ kazuhoo: People bring up weapons when talking about characters because of the utilities some weapons provide. Favonious weapons help improve rotations by providing more particles for the team.

       • Why would you use them both? Raiden alone is enough. Fischl is another option. Yaoyao is, Collei is and DMC is. Favonius is too but I didn’t think you needed me to teach you all of this.
         Also yeah you can’t have everything in a character. You say that Raiden would’nt buff EM but Alhaitham would be playes with Alhaitham like with Tighnari and doesn’t neither. What you say is as dumb as saying that having less than 4 different elements is shit with Yun Jin because her A4 passive is not at its max.
         You just want everything but also you may notice that one thing that Nahida doesn’t is to apply electro. Then you need an electro among Yae/Raiden/Kuki/Dori or even Beidou/Fischl/Lisa.
         Alhaitham with Nahida needs Zhongli or Dori/Kuki (who doesn’t buff EM lol they are shit because we need more and more EM) but Alhaitham with Raiden is free to have Yaoyao – yeah having Raiden doesn’t mean you can’t have dendro reso lol – or again Dori/Kuki for electro reso (which gives particles as well, I should teach you that) and DMC/Yae/Zhongli or whoever fits there because there are a lot of possibilities you can’t see as a blind people.

No one sane will run Alhaitham with DMC, Collei or YaoYao as the dendro sub-dps/battery, when Nahida, who gives you so much utility and damage from off field, is there. So what’s your point? If you are an anti-meta player who uses copium characters/team comps and try to make them work, this is your problem.          • @Larva – You missed the point. It was about AlHaitham working in teams without Nahida thank to other ways to have battery, utility and off field damage. We all know how good is Nahida. She is the archon after all. The point was about AlHaitham don’t need her to have good teams. She may be her best partner, he can survive without her while still being viable. AlHaitham don’t lock your Nahida so you can still use her in another team.
           It’s like Tighnari best mate being Yae but Yae’s being Nahida. Yae + Tighnari still work fine without Nahida, even if the team is better with her. Just replace her with a second electro like Fischl and an anemo swirler like Kazuha or Jean/ProtoAmber Sucrose if you need healing. Less spread, more aggravate, but still a good team.

     • Ah yes, the dual carry copium. The only one that works is the Eula-Raiden team because their cooldowns matches perfectly and that team is a downgrade over any Raiden team.

       I won’t talk about dendro teams because Raiden will be full EM with low ER. Low ER and full EM means sh** battery/damage on her burst.

   Is this part means that projectile attacks are generating” Chisel-Light Mirror” stacks, and the next projectile attacks will be stronger?

   • nope, he only gains mirror(s) from, E , charge atk and Q(depends).
     and then the mirrors will orbit around him.
     the part you quote just means that whenever he does normal atk while having any number of the mirror, he also does projection atk(which is just the mirrors doing laser pew pew). and having the mirror will convert his atks to dendro as well.

     so it’s just the mirror stacks that does projection atk pew pew and doesn’t give more mirror stack by itself.
     This projection dmg will depend on the number of his mirror stacks. which generally goes weaker as his stack start to run out going from 3 – 2 – 1 in his normal combo without using Q.

   • Kinda resumed:

     Use E = you get one mirror stack. If you had no mirrors when casted E, you get 2 mirror stacks instead of 1.
     Passive = When you Charge attack/Plunge attack with him he will recieve 1 mirror stack (it has cooldown)
     He can only have a maximium of 3 mirrors at time, and they vanish one by one by the time.

     If you start doing normal attacks while having mirror stacks he gonna do extra damage/hit with these called projection whatever (very cool looking btw), and of course you going to consume those mirror stacks.

     But if you burst instead, it’s gonna consume all the mirror stacks that you have and “buff” the burst.
     It’s not gonna increase the damage directly, but it will increase the hits from the burst:

     0 mirror stack – 4 hits
     1 mirror stack – 6 hits
     2 mirror stacks – 8 hits
     3 mirror stacks – 10 hits

     So from 0 to 3 mirror burst damage goes up somewhere around 2.5x.

     • Oh yeah i just discovered that burst has another interaction with mirrors.
       When you burst if you have or don’t have mirror stacks, after burst unleashed it gonna create some:

       0 mirror burst – gives 3 mirror stacks
       1 mirror burst – gives 2 mirror stacks
       2 mirrors burst – gives 1 mirror stack
       3 mirrors burst – gives 0 mirror stack

       So you can get 3 stacks from E + charge/plunge, consume them normal attacking, burst and then do more normals. That whould be 6 projection creation.

   1. Hoyoverse is never going to release a T0 male DPS. Al-haitham is just a Nahida downgrade. She’ll do better in any team you wan to use him.

   2. Genshin is a waifu game, if you don’t like it go to copenhagen and seethenhagen or go to quitenhagen. Fontaine will be better just because there will less male characters than sumeru.

   3. Natlan won’t have the things you westerners want LMAO. Dehya will be mid too because of this.

     The above teams don’t really benefit from Nahida because the triggers (Raiden and Dehya) are both off field). XQ and Yelan are also both off field. Nahida has much lower on field dps than Alhaitham.

     Nahida is better than Alhaitham only on Bloom teams and Quicken, the spread team of which is best led by Al Haitham.

     • Unless you run triple fav team or a battery, he’ll never have 100% uptime on burst so his damage will be lower than Nahida’s on any team. If you change XQ or Yelan for a battery or use double/triple fav you’ll lose a ton of damage. Hyperbloom/Quickbloom checked ✅ Nahida better.

       Same happens in Spread. Nahida’s spread/aggravate team uses Yae/Fischl/Kazuha. That team damage ceiling is way higher than Al-Haithams because he needs a battery. Change Kazuha for DMC or Collei and the damage will sink.
       *He also doesn’t add 250 em to boosts team damage. Spread ✅ Nahida better.

       Same that I wrote also happens in Burgeon lol. Battery dependant = bottleneck. ✅

       He is a downgrade on Nahida, don’t lie to yourself.

       There are only 2 reasons to pull for him. You like him or you lost 50/50 on Nahida’s banner and you need a dendro applicator.

       When Baizhu banner drops everyone will rather use him as driver/onfield unit than Al-Haitham because he will add some damage and fill the healer spot (he’ll be like a defensive/comfy Nahida).

       On the team mentioned above there’ll be a lot of problem. First and foremost, you’ll need a copious amount of ER for Al-Haitham, which of course leads to dps loss.
       And have you even given thought on the artifacts? If you don’t use deepwood, clearly you’ll deal less hyperbloom damage, but if you used deepwood, then your Haitham will have little to no EM.

       This is why Nahida is better on the team mentioned above. You don’t have to worry about her energy, and she herself has a lot of EM, so you can freely use deepwood on her.

       Also since you mentioned Dehya, we don’t have any idea whether she’ll be an on-field or off-field character. If she turns out to be an on-field character, then you can forget about running her with Haitham.

       But you know what is a better team than the one you mentioned?
       Instead of double hydro you could use double dendro

       This way, not only will it solve Haitham’s energy issue, Nahida can provide your Haitham a generous amount of EM.

       And YES, in this team Nahida is irreplaceable, while Haitham is. This is why Nahida is superior to Haitham.

     • The moment you need to replace a hydro unit (hyperbloom or burgeon) or Kazuha (boost electro damage in the spread comp) for a battery (you need 100% burst uptime in order to do decent damage), Al Haitham becomes weaker than Nahida.

       You are forgetting that most of the damage in hyperbloom and burgeon depends on the seeds creation rate. Nahida is also clear of Al Haitham in this deparment. There’s no point in hitting a 7k chocopunch hit when Nahida can create 3 or more seeds for extra 35k damage.

       You can cope with spreadsheets and potential damage like Cyno and Wanderer mains did b4 their releases (Keqing and Xiao are still better than them at C0 LMAO).

       You can watch Zajef pre release. Even a TC with male bias said that Al Haitham is just a downgrade over Nahida (He does not say it verbatim but it is the idea that he exposes).

     • Nahida/Yae/Fischl/Kazuha is obviously a speedrun composition. No healer (unless you’re slapping Prototype Amber on Nahida, which means she’ll do less damage).

       Most of the responses here seem to be applicable to speedruns. Mid rotation, Kazuha can barely Swirl Electro because Nahida is constantly reapplying and maintaining Dendro aura. So if you’re not defeating each wave of monsters in a complete rotation, Electro damage falls off. In terms of ER, again, the damage loss is applicable to speedruns. Being able to Bust more frequently will net more overall damage in extended battles. But having to cut damage stats for more ER will definitely hurt speedruns.

       Just keep those points in mind. If you’re not speedruning, having enough ER and using a unit with a Favonious weapon will benefit your team’s overall performance.

10. Did not realize the entire speedrun population was on HoneyHunter. Abyss and what battle content Hoyo has is already clearable with any 5* limited character or even just 4* characters. No way anyone is actually screenshotting every chamber they clear in 10 seconds with Hu Tao or something and sending it to their friends LOL.

    Al Haitham is already a strong character and can be used in any dendro reaction team (spread,burgeon, nilou bloom, hyperbloom). Hu Tao on the otherhand is factually terrible with overload b/c enemies fly everywhere, can’t consistently melt due to her Blood Blossom ability, and there’s no support for burning. She plays with only one type of reaction (Vaporize) and excels there, but summoning for characters that can play only 1 type reaction can be kinda boring versus characters that can play multiple teams. The Genshin population is so large, people have fun in different ways

    Trashing on characters to cope to not pull is funny and I’m not trashing on Hu Tao, it’s just fact that she only plays 1 reaction
