Item Story

will be best Claymore when it’s release?
For Atk scaling characters, yes, this beats out WGS and Serpent Spine.
The ppl in the Dehya comments are unhinged so I came here, can y’all recommend the best artifact sets for her that aren’t Crimson Witch cuz that domain was created by a demon
You can get Crimson Witch from the crafting bench now (as of a while back, actually). Trade in other 5* artis.
it depends how you want to use her, emblem of severed fate would probably do well on her if you want to keep her on field. or two piece crimson witch, two piece tenacity of the mililith if you are just looking to keep her as an off field support. you have options, and with a few more weeks left things might still change quite a bit on her, so some artifacts set could be better or worse on her release.
Do you know until whendehya can receive changes on beta ?
Definitely feeling that in the Dehya comments.
I’m curious if anyone has insight on 4pc Gilded Dreams or Tenacity of the Millelith will work on her??
Both trigger off field and given that the sanctum will be causing reactions you’d want EM or HP (now that her skills have been buffed to add HP scaling).
Crimson Witch does look like her best set but definitely feel the salt from the domain on artifact farming.
if you only plan to build her hp and em guided dreams is probably good. the tenacity four piece could be good though she doesn’t work as well with shields as most characters.
given how beacon works, would completely forgo shields on her and use tenacity for the 20% atk bonus trigger on skill dmg and 2pc HP.
What about Vermillion Hereafter?
Can Dehya proc the 4 pc bonus on that?
new diluc bis?
for sure.
Itto’s is very good if you have Diluc C6, Yun Jin C6 and 4 pieces of Glad too.
So if i got Hu tao in the same team as Dehya and i use the elemental skill of Hu tao, you lose hp, does it trigger the claymore passive?
No, it’s not.
Self-demaging abilities such as Hu Tao’s skill, Xiao’s burst, and Kuki’s skill are not affected by Dehya’s mitigation.
In other words, she does not take damage from it, and because of that, the claymore passive will not be activated.
Has anyone tested whether the you get the 20% attack buff even if you have a shield like Diluc c2?
You won’t. This weapon demands taking Damage. This would work only if it was taking Hits.
This weapon is so good, mainly for Eula. And since it will come with cyno weapon, I just can loose my 50/50 and go kill my self.
For Eula it’s perma 20% atk bonus, + a lot of CR. With that weapon I will get my Eula an ATK% crown.
Pull on that banner, it’s really strong. But don’t pull dehya, it’s shit.
great advice, tell people she is shit after first beta changes a month before release
shrimper detected
just telling it how it is, i dont see how thats shrimping ?
If the weapon gives you atk aredly and even crit rate, atk circlet is clearly worse than crit dmg
Almost broken, if this HP bonus was Elemental DMG…. shesh.
Nice claymore for Beidou.
Her counters will be stronger than ever, thanks to the additional HP this weapon provides.
Then you can snapshot bonus ATK to your burst.
in the fact, beidou can only get half buff. i mean “when ES hits an opponents” – work, other part not work.
It seems you are not using Beidou very often; otherwise, you would know that in order to make a perfect counter, you need to get hit by the enemy, and here is where you get the second half of the buff.
Taken damage does not necessarily mean losing HP. It’s a similar case to Diluc’s C2.
“Taken damage does not necessarily mean losing HP”
Need to put those Lazy brains to work from time to time lol
Yes, when you get hit by enemy while under Zhongli’s shield, for example, you take damage that is absorbed by the shield, but you don’t lose HP.
It’s the same as Nilou. You need to take dendro damage. People tried with cristallize shield and passive activate even if the shield tank the attack. So a Dendro shielder will be awesome and functionnal for Nilou.
So taking hit in shield does count as hit taken.
beidou c4 has diff wording, which doesn’t exclude taking 0 dmg. “upon being attacked”
while diluc c2 “when he TAKES dmg”.
the description of beacon is similar to c2 diluc. If they work identicaly, ok. but it has nothing to do with beidou
With Beidou Hold E, you can mitigate up to 100% of incoming damage and gain both attack buffs from this weapon.
I really encourage you to try Beidou; she is a very fun character and gives you an option for unique gameplay.
i have beidou c5, and i know what i say.
you write that this sword works on beidou, but this is not true, because there are no tests. And the wording of the greatsword corresponds to the c2 of the diluc.
So, to reiterate, on beidou you will only get first half the buff from this claymore, EVEN if you fully absorb the incoming damage with the shield. On diluc it can work.
This ability of claymor is not confirmed.
It’s true that there have been no tests done for this weapon on the live server yet, and we are making assumptions.
But why are you so sure that it wouldn’t work? What are your arguments against?
Becouse i dont see any contredictory for it to work with Beidou’s kit.
I wrote the arguments in my comment. They have different descriptions and I’m 90% sure it works with a c2 diluc, however it won’t work with a beidou if she defend all the damage with the shield.
Fun Fact:
Serpent Spine (i.e. another claymore) has a mechanic with similar wording – losing a stack “when the character takes DMG” which does not trigger when Beidou gets hit during Tidecaller (unless the hit breaks the shield and she loses HP of course).
The weapon was so strong they had to butcher the character who uses it.
That’s some kinda of alternative for WGS right?
Beacon has 33% Cr +40% ATK +32% HP.
WGS has 50% ATK + 20% ATK for holder + 40% ATK for party.
Does WGS procs even off-field? if so Dehya can make a good use to that +40% ATK buff.
seems WGS will be her second best weapon
learned this the hard way with Beidou; WGS does not proc off-field..
