They should have made the 2p bonus -40% dendro damage to mitigate bloom/burgeon self damage for on-field drivers, its barely an upgrade to gilded dreams as is now :\

Well, compared to Gilded Dreams, we have 5% more explosion damage at 1000 EM with this set (it’s not multiplicative as many thought) and a whopping 6% bonus damage with 2000 EM compared to Gilded Dreams! good luck in farming XD

so does this set basically just trade 150EM to increase 40%(yes its nerfed) damage from my raiden hyperbloom and doubles it 5 sec later? MAN i never thought my newly Full EM Raiden build become obsolete this fast.
it’s not exactly 40%-80% more dmg if that’s the question. the 40%-80% is sth called %reation bonus and it works like this:
let’s say you have 1000 em with this set and 1150 with glided.
glided dreams: 1+16*1150/3150=6.84
this set: 1+0,8+16*1000/3000=7.13 -> 0,8 are 80%
since resi shred and base level of your char are the same and everything else is multiplicative the ratio doesn’t change at this point so you can compare these two numbers and come to the conclusion that this set does 7.13/6.84=1.0424x=4.24% stronger blooms then your current glided dream does.
the higher your em the more value this set has. I still don’t think this set needed a nerf. 🙁 it’s not like it’s game breaking or whatsoever.
also, for maximum potential damage, you need to trigger the passive 4 times, while GD you only need to trigger it once.
ah, idk it works that way. Guess I just hyped up for nothing. but is that formula for blooms only? will it have different number for raiden triggering hyperbloom?
think of it this way, my 1k em riden (2pc wonderer, no 4 pc) can deal 30k per hyperbloom, this set can double this damage so 60k per hyperbloom or 120k per 0.9s.

Actually I found a use for this set in a Nilou team. My Xingqiu is EM, he got 800 EM unbuffed and triggers 30k blooms. But with 1200 ATK and 20/80 crit, his personal damage is horrible.
Wearing this set, you can go the usual ATK or EM/DMG/Crit for dps characters with EM in substats, do about the same damage in bloom but with much higher personal damage. Certainly easier than farming EM/EM/EM with perfect ATK/Crit substats.
For Nilou herself I don’t think it is worth it, the priority is to get near 74k HP and unless you are a whale you need 2p ToTM.
always new sets, but farming still remains a massive, cosmic disgusting shit
i don’t know how many people are willing to farm for their entire game-life, but to me it’s horrid
we already take weeks-months for a decent set (and even more than a year if we want a godly one), wtf does it mean to farm a new set for every new char? it’s the most insane thing ive ever seen
which is why most people can’t be bothered to farm new artifact sets since their old one is already working just fine, especially for a game with a confirmed difficulty cap that most veterans are already hitting.
Here’s the truth nobody wants to hear:
A mediocre set is perfect to enjoy the game
You don’t need perfect stats
You should farm artifacts only as a time killer between one major content patch and another
Embrace the suck, you can still easily clear abyss with it
