This weapon could well be better than R1 Jade cutter
i wonder if this will be good on layla. the sword itself seems like it would cover all your crit rate needs which would let you focus on hp or crit dmg on her artifacts, but also her skill should get you all 4 stacks in the first volley. i just wonder if the effect works for off-field characters, they normally specify when something works off-field or not. if not that would make this sword disappointingly less useful…

Not really, his skill only strengthens NA, and is regarded as NA damage. Ayato’s damage mainly comes from NA. So keep using Black Sword, its his 4* BiS.
