anybody complaining about inazuma material?
i’m astonished
btw every anemo who can benefit from VV set is a failure to me, exacllty as every support unit which can’t replace bennet
but considering she’ll be standard, and no way considering this mediocre kit, it’s ok
from what i read, I think she is off-field healer(Q and gtfo, while main dps loots those things on floor or dont, it doesnt really matter) or skill dps driver at best (Mizuki, Sitlali\Yae, Furina, Mavuika), where everyone uses E and Mizuki use E last and float near enemies maybe press Q while at it until someone loses his E and repeat. Decent character imo, not sure about is she worth pulling all depends on reruns and if she ends up in standart banner like someone here mentioned, but im not sure, because she looks like way better than Dehya and even Tighnari, just because she can use VV set and all her kit screams EM and more EM.
Here are my thoughts on Mizuki (based on the rumors I’ve encountered online and in the comments section on Honey Hunter, she is expected to be a Standard 5* character after version 5.4):
I think Mizuki is intended to serve as an On-Field Main DPS/Driver, concentrating on swirl damage. Her skill appears to be the main focus as it delivers periodic Anemo damage, while the Burst offers additional Anemo damage and a means of self-sustain when her HP is low.
I’m uncertain about the frequency of Anemo damage from her skill, but given its short default duration, I will assume it activates once per second with standard ICD (meaning Anemo is applied to an enemy every three hits). In the combat video, it seems the burst leaves a snack every two seconds, so I hope the snack explosion damage has no ICD.
One potential drawback I see is that Mizuki doesn’t appear to be able to perform normal attacks while in the Dreamdrifter state of her skill. This limitation will hinder her ability to utilize Sub-DPS characters that rely on normal attacks to trigger (such as Yelen, Xingqiu, C6 Candace, Electro Traveler, and Beidou), which will restrict some of her team composition options.

When constructing her build, it’s clear that Mizuki will likely use the Viridescent Venerer (for both the Swirl damage boost and the resistance reduction), and generally prioritise Elemental Mastery as the main stat on the Circlet, Sands, and Goblet. Elemental Mastery substats should be sought on the Feather and Flower. The only other stat she truly needs is Energy Recharge to facilitate her burst activation.
For 5* weapons, her best choice is undoubtedly her signature weapon (New Year’s Morning Hibernation) due to the substantial Elemental Mastery it provides, but Mizuki does have other viable options. Nahida’s signature weapon (A Thousand Floating Dreams) is likely her second-best choice, offering both EM and an elemental damage bonus for her teammates, while Citali’s signature weapon (Starcaller’s Watch) will also be useful for the EM, although she won’t be able to fully utilize it due to the lack of a shield.
Among 4* weapons, Wandering Evenstar will be effective if Mizuki’s teammates scale with attack. Mizuki should exceed 1000 Elemental Mastery, allowing her to provide a solid attack buff to her allies. Sacrificial Fragments has the highest EM main stat and can extend her field time if needed.
Her best Free-to-Play weapon is the 3* Magic Guide, as it offers a decent amount of Elemental Mastery. The only 4* craftable weapon with Elemental Mastery is Mappa Mare, but it is inferior to Magic Guide and thus less valuable.

For team compositions, it will primarily revolve around using strong Sub-DPS characters from the PECH (Pyro, Electro, Cryo, Hydro) group. As long as the off-field damage is automatic or triggers upon dealing damage, it should work well.
Furina could be one of the strongest Sub-DPS options due to her high damage output (both naturally and from her own burst) and being one of the few Hydro characters that can deal automatic off-field damage. Another character from the PECH group should be included to react to the Hydro, such as Xiangling/Mavuika for Vaporize or Fischl/Ororon/Yae Miko. A strong healer will be essential since Mizuki’s healing is limited. Charlotte would be the best 4* healer option.
However, an even better alternative would be the 5* Sigewinne, as she offers exceptional group healing and can passively enhance off-field damage. I can envision Furina/Sigewinne/Mizuki along with either a Pyro or Electro character as the best potential team for both Mizuki and Sigewinne.
Other viable team compositions for Mizuki could involve melt-oriented teammates (like Rosaria with Bennett and Xiangling) or if the remaining three teammates consist of a single PECH element. In those cases, the team would rely on Mizuki’s swirls and raw damage.

To be honest, Mizuki does seem somewhat underwhelming compared to the Natlan characters introduced in the 5.X patch cycle. It appears likely that she will be a Standard 5*. Nevertheless, I don’t believe she will ultimately be terrible.
Well, see you in at most 6.5 years once I get to pick 7 copies from the anniversary 5-star selector to finally be on par with Sucrose with those C6 swirl crits in taser teams.
I don’t really get her kit. If she boosts swirl damage but has to stay on field to do so what’s the point? The only character who would want a boost to swirl damage is Chasca but she has to stay on field to deal it so what’s the point?

the boost to swirl dmg from this char is gonna be 250%+ damage increase to swirl. If you can get 3 anemo chars to proc swirls off field out of their own infusions + an offfield subdps (fischl), the damage will be probably similar to the Nilou teams. She is gonna be on-field while others proc swirls off-field (kazuha procs tons of swirls for example). It could be quite fun tbh haha
Probably helping kazuha, since he can use his burst quite frequently already and is an off-fielder.
So she’s a combination of nearly every ameno unit? She has gliding I’m assuming with her skill, got heals, dmg from the burst, and she buffs swirl?
Plus she’s a em char so swirls kinda hit hard.
Hm she seems odd to me. Definitely got to try her out though.
