  1. on one hand I say “fk it, another niche claymore” because of that crap HP stuff (like DEF on redhorn); but on the other hand I also say they’ll never make another gravestone anymore (not atk, I mean general use).
So whether to wait for a better claymore (imagine a jade cutter serie, tons of rate + unconditional atk increase) or not is a hard bet on fkn gatcha games.
33 rate plus 40 atk is verfy good, but that HP is nothing but a joke, and it makes the weapon half wasted on other units, and we don’t need to comment it because it’s simple as that. It’s part of its kit, and you don’t need it, that’s all.
But i wonder if the’ll ever make a primordial jade greatsword as broken as cutter…

    • Well, the few claymore dps existing already got their decent bis while the univalersal skyward and wgs will only result in minimal DPS loss.

    • i’ll probably play this gacha, bcz i really want to get a dragonbane spear. this claymore loses to SS on noelle, and beats SS on beidou by 5% when gaining 1 stack. in any case, the second weap cyno’s spear will also find its owner (xingling, lol).

    • I don’t understand what you mean. You said that HP is nothing but a joke, and jade cutter is broken. But jade cutter is also increase max HP, and atk increase is only base on character max HP.
I would agree that this claymore crit rate is less than jade cutter, and yea jade cutter passive is unconditional. Which make jade cutter so easy to use and strong. But I wouldn’t say that this claymore is as bad as you said. Although mainly because claymore option is just too less xD
I kinda hope this claymore passive is unconditional, it will definitely make it more useful. But I think this claymore is still good on characters that can constantly deal elemental skill dmg.

  2. Dehya might be bad, but this thing is AMAZING.

It even boosts attack off field, making it amazing support claymore.

    • Not in the slightest. Physical/elemental bonuses always scale way better than Atk%. A 4% extra Atk bonus is not go going to compete with +20% physical, along with a higher base attack that exceeds that 4% extra Atk.
Also attack speed is a really powerful stat in terms of dps, even if you were to see slightly lower numbers.

This weapon however would be more versatile, allowing you to use it on other claymore characters.

      • The problem with physical is its scaling bonuses are already rly high, but also enemies have tons of phys res, and phys support units like now mika give more phys dmg when more shredding is needed. Theres not many atk buffers in phys teams if you dont run benny so the atk will prolly still see good use. as for the base atk on sobp, it may make it beat out bacon of the dead sea, idk. Atk spd being a powerful stat is not tru, it only marginally increases dps cuz hit lag, especially for claymores, basically drags the atk spd down. only bow and catalyst users see the real benefits from atk spd.

        • chill do you know how valuable that 132.5 base attack is??

with broken pine, her base attack is 1082.61 each point of atk% increases her attack by 10.8 so with 36% atk from the weapon and 18% atk from her artifacts and 46% from her sands will get 100% more attack so we get 1082.61 more attacks 132.5 is now 265 and with no sub stats we get 2165 atk and with sub stats the difference becomes even more but with this weapon we get 950 atk and with 104% atk we get 1938 base attack we need 30% more atk to reach that and broken pine has 30% more attack that will get bigger and bigger by more atk% sub stat and 20% physical dmg + 12 atk spd and the only counter this weapon has is that 33% crit rate so you build more crit dmg but let’s be real that crit rate bonus is good and will result in better cd but what ever you do that 30% atk + 20+ phys is much more stronger, especially considering that you cant always crit and even if you do those stats are more valuable trust me sobp is way better and dont under estimate that 12% atk spd

      • You need R3 SoBP before it’s attack speed buff even starts making a difference in earning stacks for Eula. This weapon is better in every way other than aesthetic for Eula and overall is far more valuable to an account since it’s a universal weapon like Jade Cutter.

      • Sorry man but 40% ATK gives more phys dmg than 20% phys dmg bonus. But since we’re comparing this weapon specifically with Broken’s Spines then the only thing this weapon edges out on is Crit Rate and that gives you the option for more Crit DMG stats, which probably makes this weapon slightly better actually…

    • Yes, by a lot, EULA is very crit dependent coz if your ult doesn’t crit, you reset, and this weapon is the first good Claymore we have since release.

  3. So what now? Deyha will be in a standard banner. How will I get this weapon in the future if I don’t get it in this banner?

    • Then it’ll probably get added to the 5* weapons that are rated up when 5* characters that don’t have associated weapons are rated up, you know like Klee, Venti, Zhongli and Albedo.. honestly this question is pretty dumb, ofc it’ll have a rerun at some point

  4. I’m curious if anyone has insight on 4pc Gilded Dreams or Tenacity of the Millelith will work on her??
Both trigger off field and given that the sanctum will be causing reactions you’d want EM or HP (now that her skills have been buffed to add HP scaling).
Crimson Witch does look like her best set but definitely feel the salt from the domain on artifact farming.

    • My insight on 4pc gilded dreams (quick explanation):
      – Only works with team that have dendro, her sand u can go with HP but ATK% or EM(if u using a weapon that have EM inside) are still good.
      – Best work with another dendro who can operate off-field (Nahida)
      – For better results u need hydro (kokomi/mona/barbara) catalyst which allow for more seeds to drop. (The best would be Nilou)

C1 Dehya = Crimson Witch better option with HP% on Sand.
      – She are now ur dps. (Yup) She is not the strongest one shot (atm)
      – But it is a viable dps character, you have to built it right.
      – Having her signature weapon will be ideal however, serpent spine will do well
      – U can go for Ferrous Shadow but its a 3 star so dmg wise not that strong or the bell

Tenacity of the Millelith 4 set? no 2 piece? yes.
      – She is a mix between atk and hp (HP scale more), its better to give 4 set to other character who can trigger elemental skill at quicker rate (Zhongli)
      – So 2 piece of Tenacity and 2 pieces of? (Crimson/Noblesse/Wanderer/Gilded/Emblem/Paradise)

      – Dont overfarm, as there is a specific 4 set pieces for her in later patch after her release

    • Gilded Dreams would be most optimal with burgeon, as it has 1.5x the damage of overload (highest dmg non-multiplicative reaction). Burgeon has a damage limit of 2 explosions every 0.5 sec, so you want to produce 2 blooms every 2.5 secs as anymore would be wasted; this means a very fast hydro application is not needed. Example: Xingqiu + Barbara ring would probably produce around ~1.5 blooms every second, so another hyperbloom or burgeon setup would be more efficient with that hydro setup.

Crimson Witch’s burgeon damage bonus would outscale 4-pc gilded dreams’ 230 EM at around 800~1200 EM, so probably not worth it for burgeon.

Tenacity of the Millelith is a buff set. If the other teammates are doing more atk-based damage than her, then it is probably the best set for her. As for her personal damage, investing HP for her damage is only somewhat worth it at C1 (~10% lower damage than ATK investment i think)
