Reality check for you: usage rate doesn’t show you how good/worse this unit and his teams are and how meta that unit is. And as for usage rates you can’t get the full picture anymore because mihoyo doesn’t allow you to see all players spiral abyss data anymore and we end up with small samples of 1000 people who applied their data that just biased toward current abyss and new characters.
Add to that.. look at tenten’s latest video its basically explains everything above and also it shows the fact that data of the source you gave is manipulated, one person applied over 50 times of the same data that includes the same characters over and over again.

tbh ayaka freeze team has always been far more dominant than international teams for more than a year now. Each round of spiral abyss since 2.0 mostly dominated by ayaka freeze and raiden national, either in the first half or second half but this time raiden national is losing it place to international teams but ayaka freeze teams stays on the top where she always belong

I don’t think an ayaka main will ever complain about fighting ruin drake, cyro mithacurl or even electo oceanid because it just the same thing like when you fighting maguu kenki. I don’t even think international team will make it better since international or even national team will have the same problem as ayaka has when you fighting these monsters since they are also have the melee problem. Not to mention these teams will have to face more difficulty than ayaka has, since childe and raiden will be struggle against electro oceanid atleast more struggle than ayaka, especially on removing its shield. Not to mention cyro mithacurl is still freezable as the other mobs in 3.2. So i don’t really see you as ayaka simp since all your comments are mostly tying to be opposite at everything nice about her
@Pumpkin pie i was not even talking about other teams vs 3.2 abyss ?, just ayaka. Abyss is ez. My ayaka is strong enough to take down 2 bosses in at least 2 rotations so it isnt problem for me and i am still practicing fighting them in overworld (im thinking of lower my strength to the point they look like abyss fights). But it doesnt change that the run would be a little bit less smooth since both halfs contain unfreezable mob (the 2 bosses), and the 2nd half also has high cryo res enemy (frostarm lawachurl). I used smooth, not undoable nor less total clear time since if one can manage them with ayaka, the other enemies are like “i rather being killed by celestia than by this 4100% multiplier thing”. Im not ayaka simp? Doesnt matter bcz im ayaka main. Less ppl realizing the simpness = better. No need for me to prove further that im ayaka main since u would reject it anyway

The Abyss is more like Artifact Impact. As long as your artifacts are decent and you strategize your teams, you can 36-star the Abyss even with 4-star characters and weapons. So just play what you like.

– 2nd half we have a big electro bird boss + big cryo hilichurls
=> They hate ayaka again

But you didn’t want Ayaka in the first place. Just because her banner lasted longer doesn’t mean you should have kept pulling on it. It doesn’t make sense to pull on the banner of an undesired character. For example, losing the 50/50 to Diluc on any banner is not the same as losing the 50/50 to an undesired Limited 5*. You still have control over which banners to pull on.
Anyway, to answer your question, if you’re not using Ayaka for freeze, you could play her in mono Cyro. Or a melt team. Or maybe a hypercarry setup with good ol’ Bennett, Zhongli and Kazuha.
Considering you can easily clear spiral abyss with your current teams then you’re definitely an end-game player not a newbie who really needs an advice. And, the fact you still asking if Ayaka is worth of leveling is definitely a troll since Ayaka already well-known as the top DPS In genshin

It would be better if hoyoverse added brand new spiral abyss instead of those boring card game. Ngl, i was waiting for harder permanent content with some improvement like leaderboard or a co-op raid with full party members instead of just 1 character per each person
Leaderboards and Co-Op raids are a basic formula for more toxicity and P2W catering/exclusivity. There are already plenty of MMORPGs available for that sort of thing. I’d rather Genshin remain in the ARPG genre. The Spiral Abyss could use some changes and optimization though.
Badly designed co-op raids you mean. They don’t need to go balls to the walls destiny 2 or lost ark. I mean weekly bosses are almost mini raids and co-op events where it really doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t do their part. They just need to add something like ways to get buffs or weaken the boss inside a dungeon but keep the difficulty like Raiden Ei weekly. That way it’s still do-able but gets easier with in game buffs/debuffs.
Indeed, more coopable challenging content could be really fun, if there’s no huge rewards you don’t have reason to rely on p2w players. But instead can make unique teams with 2 or more onfield characters.
A very fair point. Co-op in itself can be fun if implemented with a good, inclusive design and simple rewards. Both short and long-term. As long as the developer are willing to stay the course with such a strategy.
