“Escucha bien, querida Leticia: recuerda que eres la hija mayor de los Randolph. Has de entender que, cuando nosotros, los aristócratas, nos sentamos, hacemos que el barco de la nación se incline hacia un lado. Y cuando caemos, nos llevamos con nosotros incontables casas y a los civiles que descansan en ellas. Así que escucha bien, querida Leticia. Debes mantener un decoro aristocrático y una apariencia inmaculada, y nunca mostrar ira, tristeza o alegría. Pues nuestro apellido puede otorgar prosperidad a un plebeyo o mandarlo al Río Ceniciento”. Aunque su padre dijera todo eso, antes que aristócrata, ella era una joven dama. Como sus manos no estaban encadenadas al hollín y al aceite de las máquinas, su corazón solo anhelaba la aventura. A escondidas de su padre, su hermano y los sirvientes de la casa, se cambió de ropa y decidió encaminarse hacia la ciudad subterránea a la que nunca llegaban el sol y la lluvia. La muchacha deseaba ver con sus propios ojos cómo era la vida de aquella gente humilde, incapaz de controlar su propio destino. “¡Quizá hasta sea más interesante que la magia de Parsifal!”, pensó emocionada. Sin embargo, la aventura fue algo muy distinto a lo que imaginaba, ya que no tenía a nadie que organizara las cosas por ella. Por tanto, no había ninguna historia que pudiera contarles a sus amigos aristócratas durante sus reuniones. Y cuando el peligro se desenvainó como una afilada espada de música, mentiras y vino... “Oh, ¿de qué familia procede usted, señorita? ¿Y qué le trae por el humilde Río Ceniciento?”. La malévola sombra, que parecía envolverlo todo, acabó disipándose por una luz suave y familiar. “Eres...”. Antes de que la dama pudiera decir el nombre de aquel hombre, este le preguntó algo que la desenmascaró: “Se le da a usted fatal mentir. ¿Sabe que acaba de admitir que no es de por aquí? Su ropa no está manchada ni de hollín, ni de aceite de máquinas, ni de sangre. Por cierto, a juzgar por su forma de caminar, tampoco está usted acostumbrada a vestir pantalones, ¿cierto?”. Cuando la dama le preguntó que por qué Reed, a quien ella conocía, podía caminar libremente por el Río Ceniciento, el hombre le respondió: “Por favor, entienda que lo que ocurre aquí no le incumbe ni a su padre, ni a su hermano, ni a sus sirvientes. Como dijo nuestro líder: ‘Permitan que todo aquello que yace bajo el sol les pertenezca a ellos, y que el Río Ceniciento nos pertenezca a nosotros’. Querida Leticia, olvida, al menos por ahora, que eres hija de los Randolph. Ven tú sola conmigo. Y que tus radiantes ojos inmaculados sean testigo del mundo en el que viven tus compatriotas; unos compatriotas que, igual que tú, también tienen seres queridos y sangre corriendo por sus venas”. Todo eso era muy distinto a como ella esperaba que sería ir de aventuras. Y tal y como quiso el destino, vivió historias que no podía contarles a sus amigos aristócratas y a sus sirvientes durante sus reuniones. “Leticia, amo tu alma pura. Nuestras hachas nunca más talarán árboles. Aun así, es posible que llegue un día en el que me pierda en el esplendor de este mundo. Si ese día llega, entonces tú sentenciarás mi destino”. ... Cuando la dama volvió a ver a su padre unos años más tarde, ya había empezado a usar el nombre de “Rosa”. Había perdido la costumbre de llevar esos vestidos elegantes que tantas veces le obligaron a vestir, y en su lugar se acostumbró al peso de llevar un hacha. A lo que no se podía acostumbrar era a que su padre, a quien recordaba como una persona solemne y bondadosa, estuviera tan débil y tan mayor. “Querido padre, hice una promesa con mi amado y con las personas a las que amo. Aún estoy viva, es decir, la sangre todavía fluye por nuestras venas. Y tampoco he manchado en ningún momento el apellido Randolph”. “Querida Leticia, no ha habido ni un solo día en el que no encendiera una vela por ti. Aunque hubieras querido desprenderte del apellido familiar, habríamos seguido siendo padre e hija. Y ahora, vamos, vuelve a casa. Este juego infantil ya ha terminado. Tu hijo es inocente, y yo jamás repudiaría a tu propia sangre por un asunto tan insignificante. En cuanto a tu marido, bueno... Puedo hacer un poco de magia al estilo de los Randolph”. ... Pero en sueños, por fin lo recordó: “Los cañonazos navales de aquella época no nos estremecieron lo más mínimo. Y ningún forastero debería haber conocido el camino secreto por el que se infiltraron los sabuesos de caza”. |

Even on Navia this is literally just a sidegrade to serpent spine bruh. It does look cool tho but meh, flop after flop.
I think the “Floptaine” narrative is a bit dumb, but I will agree that Verdict is merely a sidegrade to Serpent Spine. Honestly, it might even be a downgrade. I’ve been swapping between them on Navia to test out damage and, with the team I’m using, my R5 Serpent Spine will always result in higher damage.

Would Beacon of the Reed Sea a good replacement over Virdict? I don’t know if I want to roll for this or not as it’s only really good on Navia and probably very few other characters depending

Beacon doesn’t want shields. Navia creates shields. So it’s pretty bad.
only Beacon’s hp boost requires not having shields so Navia loses nothing

This is such a pretty weapon for Navia. I would’ve want to pull it to pamper my Navia but I don’t want another Mistsplitter and I’m on guarantee (lost on Tome/Homa to an r2 Skyward Pride lol) also the passive is very niche and limited only to E skill damage buff and I kinda want that it could get some buff to her pretty burst too.
Being her signature weapon, Verdict is obviously Navia’s BIS (possibly by a significant margin compared to her next best offering). Considered it will be paired with Ayaka’s signature Mistsplitter Reforged which is great for many characters, it probably would be worth to on the weapon banner when this weapon debuts, assuming you are getting Navia first.
But for other characters? It could be a decent stat stat stick thanks to the high base damage and crit rate sub-stat. Diluc, Freminet, and Dehya could make good use out of the elemental skill damage bonus this weapon gives (as elemental skill damage is a big part of their overall damage), but finding a Geo character to pair with them in order to trigger crystalize will be difficult. Zhong Li could work for Diluc and Dehya, but it will be a pain for Freminet since physical builds don’t have room for a geo teammate (he needs super-conduit and shattered more). This could be good for Cyro focused Freminet however.

the problem with this weapon is that it forces u to use a geo unit in your team. it’s really only viable for navia. even though it’s stats are really good, there is no point in getting this weapon for basically one character. like what other claymore geo character enjoys the passive of this weapon? itto is a geo geo claymore dps but he scales better with defense and elemental skill dmg is pretty useless for him since most of his dps is behind his burst. same thing is true for noelle. now any other claymore user like beidou, eula, chongyun, razor, xinyan, dori etc don’t want a geo in their team and don’t do much with their skills either(except diluc). this weapon is sadly a really bad value for any f2p.
My Verdict of this will be 69/10

I want Mistsplitter, Verdict can definitly be good on my beidou if I get it, since I dont have any crit asc claymore

I don’t like Axes… It looks pretty ugly to me
