  1. Since I see people complaining about Dori’s C6, let me just point out her kit revolves around her being on-field doing reactions to shorten her Elemental Skill cooldown during her Burst. An Electro infusion works amazing on Dori to give her another way to trigger reactions outside her E, the Jinni connector and Jinni Toop from C2.
Put 4pc Thundering Fury on her to further strengthen her reaction DMG and shorten even more her E CD to have a pretty much permanent Electro infusion and crazy energy recharge thanks to her A4 passive.

Would this work when playing alone or doing Abyss? Obviously not, her damage depends purely on the presence of other elements on enemies and if she’s on-field there’s no way to trigger this without using Bennett C6, Chongyun and soon Candace to either override her own infusion/without Dori C6, or using off-field DPS/applicators like Xiangling or Kokomi as a couple of examples. Still, it’s a lot of effort for barely any benefit and would require really specific builds to make it work.

TL;DR: Dori’s C6 is great if you like playing in Co-op for the shits and giggles, otherwise it’s meh.

    • I would even argue that she can be great playing alone and abyss, if at C6.
It’s the same with Kokomi: as long as your onfield healer deals respectable damage, you got three other slots for great sub-dps or support that offset the lack of dmg from the healer. Lets say you go for Dori-DTraveler-Fischl-Sucrose and you got yourself a great quicken comp with a lot of flexibility.

Granted, it’s only at C6 and the reason why I did not pull for her, my first 4* I did not pull for on release, since I got no suitable comp I wanted to try with her being a healer/battery.

    • What’s wrong with chibi characters having claymores? I think it’s a fun concept. Dori’s execution works even better than Sayu’s since it’s not really her that wields the weapon, but the Jinni.

    • *pushes up glasses*
A child doesn’t have the same muscle mass as an adult male and therefore shouldn’t be able to carry a sword as big as a claymore.
This breaks my immersion and therefore ruins an otherwise realistic game where people shoot ice out of their swords and kick bows to make them shoot and kill sentient slime by the thousands each month.
This is where, I, proud keyboard warrior and word smith, Whale Grulf, draw the line with my correct opinion that everyone must know.

I’m way more amazed by this comment section.

    • No.
Bennett’s infusion applies to any Sword, Claymore, and Polearm users standing in his Elemental Burst.
Dori’s infusion applies only to herself. Her C6 allows her to heal the whole party while she triggers reactions on-field (similar to Barbara’s Elemental Skill and Kokomi’s Elemental Burst).

    • Bennet’s C6 isn’t even bad, it’s really strong. The only way you can look at it as bad is if you literally only run units that want physical damage, which is less than when you’d be using people that want reactions. It’s niche upon niche to call it bad.
