Well, obviously they made a clown and and punching bag out of him and mischaracterised him once again. Itto has been playing trading card games long before Genius Invokation was even introduced to Inazuma based on his voicelines, and he’s been playing Genius Invokation with his gang for weeks (as mentioned in Irodori) and probably months or over a year until this event would happen, and training against Ayato who’s a genius player. And in his birthday voiceline, he offers you a precious, out of print card that took him 300 rounds to get. And he didn’t win it from a kid, as his bio and the bulletin boards very clearly state that the kids only have a chance to win against him when it comes to onikabuto fighting, the story quest went against canon saying that he apparently loses to kids.
Man, they just keep using him as a punchbag and constantly making him pathetic and incapable and brainless for the sake of making a joke, even though it’s extremely ooc. He’s stupid, but like a delinquent is stupid, he’s not literally brainless, and he is genuinely cool. I hate it so much how they don’t care about him at all, they mix him with mud all the time just to make the players laugh at him. When you compare his demo, bio and voicelines to how he’s written lately, it’s such a joke.

But Shinobu is also very ooc, she is a person that would never be cocky and never showed such traits, she’s very, very polite, mature and humble. Man, it’s her first time being there after an entire year of absence, and she’s completely out of character. She beats Itto and other boys in the gang up, but she never made fun of him in any way (even when she giggled a bit when he fell on his ass in perilous trail, Itto was so shocked that even Shinobu is laughing at him lmao). They are completely misunderstanding their relationship from bio, voicelines and bulletin boards. I really wish they cared more about the characters they’re writing…

Begging that Itto is written well and they don’t humiliate him and turn him into a clown
