角色故事5 | 納塔和深淵的戰爭持續了數百年,瑪拉妮像其他納塔人那樣,從小聽著英雄故事長大。可是她目之所及的生活,並不像織物裡所記載的故事那樣充滿危險、激動人心。 在瑪拉妮的記憶中,「流泉之眾」的氛圍一直都悠哉遊哉、不緊不慢。大人們相約洽談正事時,往往會先泡個舒服的溫泉,然後一邊吃著點心,喝著牛奶,才緩緩進入正題。 就連部族裡流行的音樂,也都是慢悠悠的風格。 小時候的瑪拉妮聽了那些發生在遙遠戰場的故事,曾不解地問過擔任守衛的長輩: 「深淵是很危險的敵人嗎?為什麼大家平時看起來一點也不緊張呢?」 長輩哈哈大笑,她摸著瑪拉妮的頭,說:「其實沒那麼可怕。等瑪拉妮長大了也能順利打倒的。」 瑪拉妮仍有些不解,可是這個問題並不急迫,她便暫時拋諸腦後,繼續無憂無慮地成長著。 直到某個夜晚,深淵突然襲擊部族,瑪拉妮親眼看到守衛們是怎麼樣和魔物奮力作戰,她才明白一直以來的悠閒生活,並不是一件理所當然的事情。 她跟著部族裡的前輩,一點一點地學習戰鬥的技巧。習慣於各類水上運動的她有著很好的體能,戰鬥時就像一條迅疾的鯊魚。 之後,她順利地組成了隊伍參加「歸火聖夜巡禮」,但這支幾乎都是新人的隊伍在團體戰中早早落敗。 隊友們有點沮喪,只有瑪拉妮依舊樂呵呵的:「我們能跟那些老手打得有來有回的,已經很了不起了。而且,我們也累積了實戰經驗,下次一定能打得更好!」 果然如她所說,每次參賽都比上次的成績更好,最終她摘下桂冠,得到了參加「巡夜者戰爭」的資格。 她記憶中的深淵敵人,依然是年少時那個夜晚的印象,如此強大,勢不可擋。可是當她和夥伴們遇敵之時,她驚訝地發現,她竟然可以打倒一隻又一隻的魔物。 「看來這次運氣很好嘛,遇到的都是不太強的敵人。」 這樣的「好運」一直跟隨著瑪拉妮,她三次參加「巡夜者戰爭」,又三次取得勝利,連復活的經歷都未曾有過。 每當她得勝歸來,部族裡都會舉行盛大的溫泉聚會。有小孩聽說她的經歷,跑來請求她教授自己戰鬥的技巧。 「我也想成為像妳這麼厲害的戰士!」 瑪拉妮看著他們天真的臉龐,回想起了小時候她向長輩提出的問題。她笑著擺擺手: 「深淵其實沒那麼可怕啦。你們現在就該好好玩,戰鬥的事情等長大再說嘛。」 「對了,下次我來教你們衝浪吧!」 * 好感等級達到6後開啟 |
「鯊鯊衝浪板」 | 瑪拉妮衝浪的時候曾經遇過一隻淡水鯊。牠從遠處無聲無息又非常迅速地靠近瑪拉妮,一下子跳出水面,朝著瑪拉妮露出鋒利的牙齒,在太陽底下反射出一道寒光。 「哈哈,你也是來衝浪的嗎?」瑪拉妮靈活地調轉方向,避開牠的衝鋒,腳下加速拉開距離:「那就和我比比速度吧!」 接受了挑戰的淡水鯊猛追不捨,瑪拉妮全力衝刺,浪花也自覺地為她們鋪開一條長長的白色賽道。 臨近岸邊,淡水鯊追獵無果,悻悻掉頭離去,瑪拉妮在不遠處揮手:「下次再一起玩啊!」 之後,瑪拉妮好幾次在相似的水域遇到了相同的挑戰者。瑪拉妮將牠稱為鯊鯊,一人一鯊多番比試。前幾回瑪拉妮速度較快,但鯊鯊也不甘示弱,一點一點縮短距離,終於追上了瑪拉妮。這回牠沒有張著牙咬過去,而是優雅地擺動胖胖的身軀,宣告牠才是比賽的勝利者。 「這回是你贏了!來,說好的獎勵。」瑪拉妮向牠投餵帶來的小魚乾,順便摸了摸牠的鰭。 她們真的成了一起衝浪的夥伴。直到有一天,鯊鯊遊玩結束,圍著瑪拉妮轉了幾圈,然後就擺擺尾巴,朝著夕陽的方向游遠。 瑪拉妮像往常一樣朝牠揮揮手。後來,瑪拉妮再去老地方衝浪時,卻再也沒看到那個圓潤又迅猛的身影。 瑪拉妮知道,相遇本身即是一段旅途,大家總會有新的目的地,可是一起度過的時光卻不會消失。 想到這裡,瑪拉妮翻出一張圖紙,在上面寫寫畫畫。半個月後,她將「鯊鯊衝浪板」的設計圖交給了熟悉的工匠。鯊鯊的鰭是硬硬的,但是尾巴很有彈性。為此,她精心挑選材料還原她記憶中鯊鯊的觸感,甚至連內部的牙齒和咬合關節都忠實重現。 至於配色,自然要夠引人注目,要讓看過鯊鯊的人都能記住牠的樣子。 瑪拉妮踩著新裝備出場,再次聚集了眾人的目光。在大家的呼聲中,「鯊鯊衝浪板」最終得以量產並上架販售——當然,公開出售的版本並不能咬人。 瑪拉妮衝浪的時候,偶爾會想到,什麼時候能再和鯊鯊比試一回呢?「鯊鯊衝浪板」和鯊鯊到底哪邊比較快,她真的很想知道答案。 * 好感等級達到4後開啟 |
神之眼 | 後來的瑪拉妮無比清楚「沃摩延」這個古名所具備的意義,而對此的切身感知,其實是始於多年以前那一個原本風平浪靜的夜晚。 那天晚上,當瑪拉妮和她的朋友們結束了熱鬧的溫泉聚會,已經是午夜時分。眾人沉浸在歡樂的餘韻中,直到遠處一聲不合時宜的巨響,在安靜的夜晚格外清晰。 人們面面相覷,沒有人知道發生了什麼事。正在巡查的阿伽婭著急地跑來:「你們所有人,快去避難!深淵來襲了!」 現場開始騷動,眾人準備往外撤離,而瑪拉妮則高舉手臂:「阿加婭阿姨,我想留下來幫忙!」 瑪拉妮開了個頭之後,其他人也陸陸續續站出來,希望能出一份力。 「不行,你們沒有實戰經驗,留在這裡太危險了。戰鬥可不是開玩笑的事。」 但瑪拉妮的決心也不是開玩笑的。身為部族的一份子,瑪拉妮並不認為自己應該置身事外。 「除了戰鬥之外,應該還有我們能做的事。」 瑪拉妮說著,回頭看向那些同樣選擇留下來的熟悉的夥伴們—— 伊拉帕腳下帶風,跑得飛快,正好去通知附近的居民。奧蘭塔體格壯碩,眼力又好,幫忙巡邏剛剛好。還有雅娜,她曾經擔任過救生員,懂不少急救技術,能夠擔任後援… 「至於我嘛」,瑪拉妮踏上她引以為傲的衝浪板,「我的速度是數一數二的,哪裡需要我就去哪裡!」 夥伴們都認可瑪拉妮的說法,阿加婭也不便阻攔,就囑咐大家一定要互相照應,安全第一。 「既然如此,瑪拉妮,妳跟我一起去找『深淵界門』吧。」 …… 瑪拉妮順著遊隙靈道快速地偵察部族周邊的情況,確認「深淵界門」的位置。每找到一處,就同步向正在作戰的守衛們傳達情報。 其中一處界門湧出的魔物尤其多,眾人陷入了苦戰。等瑪拉妮好不容易找來救援,戰場已經遍布焦土與黑火。 阿加婭揮出一劍,利刃深深地嵌進了魔物的軀體,而她身後的另一隻魔獸正在蓄勢,準備發動襲擊。 「小心!」瑪拉妮高喊著,踩著衝浪板加速衝向魔獸,將牠從空中撞翻,而她自己也不慎露出破綻。 受到挑釁的魔物轉而對著瑪拉妮舉起利爪,她縮起身體,攻擊卻並未到來,溫熱的血液濺到了臉上,魔獸的心臟已被阿加婭的利刃擊穿。 …… 艱難的戰鬥持續到了天明。當他們確認完所有的「深淵界門」都被封鎖,瑪拉妮跟在阿加婭和守衛們的身後,渾身疲憊地回到部族。 瑪拉妮注意到大家身上都有或大或小的傷痕,有人做了緊急處理,傷口纏著繃帶。相比之下,被眾人保護著的她,身上只有淺淺的擦傷。 瑪拉妮心中萌生出了從未有過的、混合了不甘與後悔的感情。「如果我能夠更快、更有效地支援就好了。」 瑪拉妮握緊拳頭,暗下決心,要找部族裡的戰士訓練戰鬥技巧。 阿加婭將瑪拉妮送回了家,焦急已久的家人這才知道瑪拉妮剛從戰場回來。 「她真是個非常勇敢的孩子。」臨別之前,阿加婭拍了拍她的腦袋。 …… 那天,瑪拉妮做了一個很長的夢。如果不是她在翻身的時候,臉壓到了一塊硬物,她或許還能睡得更久。 她睜開眼,將硬物拿到手裡,竟然是一顆晶瑩剔透的神之眼。 順著窗外照進來的陽光,她來回摩挲,反覆觀察,確認這並不是家裡人買來的玩具。 「這算是初戰告捷的戰利品嗎?還滿吉利的嘛。」 * 好感等級達到6後開啟 |

It happen quite a lot, pretty sure I did mark all the enemies but the missiles won’t trigger.
it either doesn’t shoot out or misses or is destroyed in the way by a wall or geo construct

the nerfs are felt A LOT outside of sheets, sucks a lot to have high ping too
for the archon to be a really good support for her she might have to give characters nightsoul points, aside of everything else she’ll do
I enjoyed her when I tried her, dmg was good and her gimmick is kinda fun
High ping always sucks, Arlecchino can’t even absorb her marks at high ping
her gimmick was fun until they added the floater mechanic, and in one of the nerfs made her grab two, that’s the worst part of it
miss a floater and your damage is gone
Be honest, is C1 worth it for her? I like me some hydro characters and Mualani also happens to be voiced by my favorite VA. Should I do some more pulls for her before she’s gone?

This things must be fairly simple, you like the character? go for it. You dont have it clear? don’t pull, just that.
I’ve been playing this game since its release and thats mostly my mantra, thats why I pulled for Dehya, and look at her, central piece of my Liney comp. Just enjoy the little things and be respectful with each other, it has no cost and you’ll feel better, trust me.
I just want to share that little piece of advice, be good with each other.

Unfortunately you can’t really expect common sense and general positivity from this community. Most of the more vocal people are pathetic as hell, shitty people with probably a shitty life, and so bitterness and negativity are all they can really offer. I came to this page looking to see some insights on the character, and while there is quite enough of that here, reading the comments was also a reminder of why I distanced myself in the first place.

Have you all noticed that Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City thing can currently be used by Sacrificial Jade Mualani?
She has 60.2% Crit Rate just from , plus you can expect about 15%-25% from good artifacts with barely any rolls into CR (just having them there, the other 3 stats being %CD, %HP and EM… Flat HP subs are almost completely irrelevant for anyone but Nilou).
This means that a Nuke Mualani could already have around 100% CR (using Diluc’s / Qiqi’s / Lyney’s / Neuvillette’s Offensive dishes as she scales off HP and those always bring 20% CR with them) without any actual investment into it, making her the most comfortable Damage Per Screenshot character ever added to Genshin (and quite possibly one of the strongest).
And because she has around 80% CR without the food buff, not only is this build quite decent for Abyss from the get-go, but the whole thing requires only minor alterations / abyss buffs in order to get back to 100%.
Of course, as with any other support set, you are not supposed to have multiple of them, meaning that the introduction of a Natlan character capable of replacing one of her current ideal team mates will make the set useless for her.
Did I mention that it is sure to increase (multiplicatively, that is, if you have 150% ER, ) her current ER by about 11% (60/54) even with Mualani being the only Natlan character in your entire party, and that this effect is NOT something you can get for the whole party?
But does this have a breaking point considering constellations, meta teams and her weapon? You bet there is, but you would be surprised by how far ahead it is set, and the caveats of said break point (or should I say, breaking pointS)
For damage per screenshot? Having C1 and her weapon makes a lot of difference since C1 allows her first Normal Attack to have the same multiplier of her Elemental Burst with ALL passive stacks and her weapon has %CD instead of %CR (so you can trade reliability for big numbers and repeat until you get your desired outcome – the crit) as well as a passive that is exclusive to Normal Attacks.
Still, if you aiming purely for numbers, the fat 40% CR given by Obsidian Codex won’t be of much use. Consider 4PC Heart of Depth or a combination of 2x 2PC of the many Hydro and/or HP sets.
For DPS? The break point for switching from this to Obsidian Codex is having C6 and at least one copy of her weapon (replacing Sac Jade). The reason is simple: At C6, you may as well forget that she has an Elemental Burst given how she is able to squeeze so many near-Burst numbers before even Instructor or/and Kazuha’s buff ends, and her weapon’s passive (geared solely for Normal Attacks) will greatly enhance her Normal Attacks.
As for the fact that another Natlan character is capable of using this set, given that Kinich and Mualani are Dendro and Hydro, respectively, I would be very skeptical about a Natlan Dendro or Hydro character replacing Nahida and Furina/Mona as Mualani’s team mates any time soon, and I doubt that Chasca is more than a sidegrade to Kazuha, even more so if we are talking about a C2 Kazoo.
So the only character it’s logical to expect to be replaced by a Natlan equivalent is the Pyro unit. More specifically, Dehya in possession of R5 Forest Regalia is outstanding in Mualani teams that also have Nahida, and Mavuika being more or less confirmed as yet another Pyro Claymore makes her perfect as a replacement for Dehya (mind the lowered survivability, though, so you will most likely NEED Prototype Amber for Nahida even more than before)… So long as she’s capable of applying any off-field Pyro.
Pyro Traveller, if capable of entering Nightsoul Blessing (and of course applying Pyro off-field), will be a good equivalent to Mavuika given that R5 Sapwood Blade also provides 120 Elemental Mastery, just like R5 Forest Regalia.
But again, Sacrificial Jade does crazy thing to your Mualani build, so you may want to consider an artifact set different from Obsidian Codex in order to use all the stats given by Jade in their fullest.
TL; DR: Until Mavuika/Pyro Traveller gets released or if you end up fancying Chasca, this set may as well be the best choice for Sacrificial Jade Mualani. And even after the characters mentioned get released, you may want to opt for other artifacts sets (boosts to HP, Hydro DMG and Normal ATK) over 4PC Obsidian Codex unless you have a C6R1 Mualani or better.

So Mualani’s gonna have some interesting team differences.
You’re either gonna go with Xiangling as the sole pyro application and run some non-dendro teammates so could be Zhongli + Kachina or would be Sucrose + Candace/Mona.
Then the other type of teams she would have is a burnvape team where she isn’t very dependent on Xiangling since burning supplies enough pyro aura, so you have options like Thoma + Nahida/Emilie, or the pyro could be Dehya or Xinyan.
I’m thinking, why not get the best of both and make a dendro resonance burnvape team- Mualani, Gilded Dreams Nahida (for 1k EM to share 250 EM wtih Mualani), Emilie (Unfinished Reverie), and Dehya on deepwood. Mualani will deal plenty of vape damage with being supported by 300 EM from Nahida + dendro resonance, and Emilie will dish out damage from off field, plus with Nahida in team, she will be given enough energy to burst every rotation to net more AoE damage for a relatively ST hypercarry. Dehya on deepwood to apply pyro to start the campfire, and Nahida to continue applying burning. Dehya will support Emilie’s damage through dendro res shred and will reduce burning damage done and reduce damage Mualani takes.
I believe it to be a pretty strong team. Nahida + Emilie together provides Emilie with enough energy and Nahida can sustain burning application herself, while Dehya can carry deepwood and be the occassional pyro app.. Mualani benefits from the Em nahida and Emilie brings. Will probably be a solid team that goes untested because hardly anyone would fit into the criteria of pulling and obtaining both Emilie and Mualani.

if you run mualani nahida emilie dehya, it would be more beneficial to have nahida on deepwood and then put your dehya on instructor. while it will be harder to hit the 1000 em cap for nahida, it is stronger as long as you can do it. also the other reason ppl run gilded is to help nahida dmg, but her dmg is negligible outside of quicken teams, so its really worth running elsewhere
unrelated to everything, but considering some mindblowing unexpected changes (artifacts, free shitqiqi) do you guys think that a day they’ll rework old bad crap constellation?
and to whoever says it’s a gatcha and they want to sell new units: bullshit; or better: considering hoyo unrelatable and horrible marketing it could be, but actually it’s just the opposite, because they don’t have to invest money to create a chara anew. Their investment is minimum, and maybe it doesn’t even need devs. Just delete shit and make something decent, idk like that retard xiao constellation increasing defense, just increase atk. Random thing, but do you really think it’s a money loss? you can still rerun, and you can still make people pull “old” chara if they get a new boost. Or imagine an Albedo with his dogshit constellation. Now a rerun is just for dreamy hopeless, especially after Chiori, but even without being so powerful with constellation he can still be a pull for everyone with a massive intelligent rework.
