I dont get all this hate on her kit when her skill still does off-field pyro dps and pyro application every 2 sec, people literally made raiden EM a thing despite her not having any EM scaling on her kit. Pyro has a lot of use, the fact that mavuika also can be used in all exploration along with her relatively decent kit is good even outside natlan tbh. People are just complaining for the sake of it at this point smh
There’s always a bit (or a lot) of undue complaining. But I’ve also learned to sift through the garbage and find the very legitimate complaints that are usually there.
Some complaints that I think have merit:
– yet another on-field Pyro DPS
– over-simple kit: charge attack forever
– parts of the kit are locked to Natlan, so that your characters feel weaker in the Abyss and will feel weaker when we leave Natlan.
All other complaints aside: I’m just disappointed that she doesn’t apply Pyro to herself. Her hair isn’t ON fire, it IS fire!
Based on the Talking Stick, I fully expected the Pyro archon to not only be a claymore user, but also apply pyro to themselves. If she’s not going to use it, who will??
Even if she powercreep arlecchino she is not powercreeping xiangling and bennet, thats the point. Who cares if pyro dps are powercreeping themselves in a game that supports and sub dps are the most valuable characters²

I’m kinda bummed by the fact that she’s just another Pyro DPS (with a lot of mobility outside of combat, but still just a Pyro DPS) that suffer from Bennet’s circle impact syndrome (something she herself should have broken) and feels super restricted in team composition (something that will improve with more Natlan characters, but i think will still kinda suck).
Furina got more of an actual Archon treatment (rightfully so), and she technically isn’t an Archon…

I am not an Archon collector but I do pull for them if their supporting abilities help my favorite DPSes. I was hoping Mavuika will either finally replaced Bennett or Xiangling. the dev just deliver nothing.

Is she gonna out damage Knave? Obviously. But is she gonna OUTLIVE Knave and other pyro dps? No lol. Her teams are lock with Xilonen , Bennet and last spot is also fixed with a Natlan. There are only three confirmed upcoming Natlan characters, two of them are 4* and they probably won’t save her.
Mavuika is kinda like premium Dilue, good on release, falls off as the updates continue.

Xiao is also with high atk stat, so what? Bennett is not useless for her lol, he’s one of her best supports. And even then, how exactly this changes the fact, that she will not be able outlive Arle and other pyro DPS with such ridiculous restriction in her kit, when without Xilonen you will not be able to fulfill her burst properly (especially during the fact, that all Natlan charas except Xilonen, Citlali, Kachina, who’s just a dead weight and Ororon, who wants EC teams anyway)? Natlan will end, Natlan charas will end, this stupid nightsoul mechanic will end, but the hard restriction will stay with Mavuika forever.
Who do you think will feel better in the future: the unit, whos ONLY team restriction is inability to use Furina, or the unit, that locked to a specific limited five-star character, without which you will see Mavuika’s burst once in a decade?
And before you think about it: NO. Not EVERYONE has Xilonen (and a major part of skippers are Mavuika’s waiters, who skipped her for Mavuika just to find out, that this archon is hardly locked to Xilonen) and not everyone want her, you know, but want Mavuika.
Oh, and the fact that Mav is just an another pyro DPS, she will be powercreeped in like 5-7 patches by another shiny pyro 5-star on-field DPS.
This character doesn’t have a long run like the other Archons due to both her role (mostly) and the strict limitations of the team and it’s a fact.
Okay, and even if she is C6? She will crept soon?
And what u think about C6 Chasca’s long run? Cuz that u can switch elements, somekind gamechanger, no?
You can use her with just Xilonen if you don’t mind not having max stack and only 170 stacks max. But the fact that you need a specific character to normally play Mavuika make her lifespan short and lower her pull value than other archons as they are polar opposite to her, enabling more teams and giving huge lift to many characters including underwhelming ones while she just there being Diluc 2.0. Also, tell me one support that can replace bennet in her team.
Let’s hope that mihoyo, with their legendary wisdom, make the right changes for V5!

I’ve been seeing people saying Mavuika is gonna powercreep Arlecchino and that’s just not happening.
1st of all, powercreep is barely a thing in genshin and even if it happens, it needs to be a big difference in damage. Mavuika isn’t gonna have crazy higher numbers than Arlecchino.
2nd of all, higher numbers are nothing compared to how much more versatile and comfortable Arlecchino is to play.
Mavuika’s alternative ult thing that requires no energy is just even worse than being burst reliant. Energy issues are solved with batteries, favonius weapons and ER. Meanwhile Mavuika has none of that and you’re just forced to get her stacks.
And then there’s Arlecchino who’s not even burst reliant, she just needs her skill and that’s it.
And then team building. Arlecchino has access to so many supports. She can vape, melt, overload with Chevruse, mono pyro. You can freely switch between characters during combat for consistent buffs. While Mavuika is stuck with Natlan characters. Who are almost all DAMAGE DEALERS.
It’s actually crazy how much more restricted Mavuika is, and she’s the archon.

But ER reliance is worse in Natlan and with Natlan enemies than before. Natlan has all the counters against burst dependent characters. First, lets introduce to you the Wayob Manifestations. THey will suck out the energy of not one, but your whole team, unlike the bathysmal vishaps. On top of that, the shield it generates during that energy absorption phase prevents any fav proccs on it. All energy that is to be gained during that phase is sapped away. So not even batteries can save your team.
Following that is the abyssal mimics, Tenebrous Papilla and tenebrous Mimosa, which negate your fav passives while its abyss shield is up.
So while you feel that fighting spirit dependence is worse, energy dependence is gonna be a lot worse off as those type of enemies become more dominant in exploration and abyss. Have you even played during the time of low-tide high-tide leyline disorder? That was a curse to international teams and it really worsened the rotations.
Also, Mavuika has an advantage over Arlecchino in overload and access to Furina. Abyss will favor Mavuika far more than Arlecchino with the abyssal enemies considering they deal damage through shields based on max HP% so cant even be reduced via Arlecchino talent, and Mavuika can deal nightsoul-aligned damage. This is like the anti-Zhongli agenda and its gonna hurt Arlecchino too.
Mavuika teams will also have advantaged overload teams with using Ororon who can use Cinder City, have better AoE (to res shred multiple targets via overload), and taunt enemies for grouping. This is also applicable for overvape, where Ororon could buff both hydro and pyro via Cinder City. Mavuika is also more synergy with Furina which is an advantage, especially with her AoE vs Arlecchino and her ST hydro teammates Yelan and Xingqiu and Furina does a lot more damage than C6 Candace. She also has more AoE. Yes, she be spinning as a circle impact yet her final hit of her charged attack has large AoE, as much as Dehya’s fist in her burst punching state.
kinda lame how she never actually sits on the bike, she just hovers over it on optimal sex position. gotta display that butt I guess.
i don’t even know why would they add a motorcycle in genshin when there’s better choices that fit with genshin theme.
