ก่อนเข้าบททดสอบ จะต้องจัดตัวละครที่เข้าร่วมในบททดสอบเป็นสองทีม โดยทีมแรกเป็นฝ่ายต่อสู้ และทีมที่สองเป็นฝ่ายสนับสนุน ซึ่งทั้งสองทีมไม่สามารถใช้ตัวละครซ้ำกันได้

ก่อนเข้าบททดสอบ จะสามารถเลือก Shikifuda ได้ 3 ชนิด จากทั้งหมด 9 ชนิด ซึ่งในระหว่างที่บททดสอบกำลังดำเนินอยู่ จะไม่สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลง Shikifuda ได้

ก่อนเข้าบททดสอบ จะสามารถใช้ “Damaged Replica” เพื่อเสริมพลังของ “พลังแห่งเครื่องราง” ของ “Shiki Taishou” ได้ ซึ่ง “พลังแห่งเครื่องราง” นี้ จะสามารถให้การสนับสนุนที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการทดสอบได้
