im surprised they made her a 5 star. another bow char to add to my roster of favs i suppose. would
With such cute design and animations, why’d they have to make her a generic ass healer with a sprinkle of gimmick du jour? They could’ve taken this opportunity to make her actually specialise in something, for example a Freeze support (which would be especially fitting for Wriothesley), and throw a bone to characters like Ayaka and Ganyu who have likely been benched by most players for years. Surely we don’t have to wait until Tsaritsa or Snezhnaya for Cryo to be competitive?
She’s more of a hybrid sub-dps and healer with a little side of buffing
But as far as healers go she’s one of the more unique, even if not incredible, and she seems fun
I agree. But to me it belies the fact that her kit is not at all cohesive and she will fall flat in all/most of these areas compared to other units that do the same or similar that a vast majority of players have already invested in. Obviously she’s subject to change, but given this cursory look, it seems like there’s a lot of wasted potential here. I’m not usually one to doompost, but she looks like a 4* as things stand.

Her burst can be used off-field?
Based on the looks of it’s animation, I assume it’s onfield only.
Isn’t Furina + Sigewinne a better double hydro core than Xingqiu + Yelan?
-Higher personal damage, Fur and Sig dmg > XQ and YL dmg
-Auto attacks. XQ and YL needs NA and if get interrupted equal to dps loss, not a case for FurSig
-Has some AOE. XQ YL are pure ST
-Better sustain HP. XQ can only heals a little
-Better support capabilities. 75% for all teammates vs 50% for on field
-Less energy requirement. 60 + 70 < 70 + 80 AND if Fur or Sig can't get burst back it's not the end of the world, however it will be the end for XQ and YL as both their application are depend on the bursts.
Xingqiu + Yelan only better than them at hydro application, aims and interruption resistance but a heavy attack can still whoops XQ swords.
As for Yelan + Furina is better than Furina + Sig. Yelan + Furina needs a healer so it's turn into a 3 characters slots and not flex enough to be called a core.
For sure now she is a better healer then koko.
Now she is not better then xianyun or baizhu at healing or support, but we are at the start of the beta time to time.
Good thing that we have a hydro healer that is not barbara or barbara plus.

I dont get this char at all, like she is a healer with a single ability that heals, has higher scaling on her burst than neuv charged attack, the BoL payoff seems underwhelming, and what is the first passive that hasnt been translated?

When underwater, if health of onfield char drops below 50%, they’ll heal 50% max hp total. This effect takes place in 10 seconds with the healing triggering every 2.5 seconds. During this time all resistance is reduced by 10%. This effect can happen every 20 seconds. It’s a pretty cool exploration perk in fontaine but other than that meh

She looks really cool so far, wish she had a stronger niche because she’s shaping up to be just another furina healer. Would be cool if her A1 had some sort of buff on BOL instead of buffing elemental skill. Furthermore, her A1 buffing is incredibly weak. Compare her to Xianyun’s A1 which has a similar effect, except Xianyun’s additive buffs go up to 9000 DMG while Sigewinne’s is 1800 DMG.

Gosh darnit, a Hydro 5* AND they can heal? Two legal obligations for me to at least consider pulling. I wonder if she’ll have any C0 DPS/SubDPS potential when the beta ends, or if she’s gonna get stuck as a pure healer/buffer…
