  1. 5.6 Weekly Boss

There will be a weekly boss located in Falcon Coast in Mondstadt with the theme of chess.
    * In the first phase, you need to defeat two chess pieces.
    * In the second phase, you fight a King and a Queen piece. They have mechanics similar to the Bathysmal Vishap Herd or the Ballet Twins from ZZZ; if you defeat one and leave the other, the defeated one will revive after a short duration, so you have to defeat them at the same time.

    • I expect C6 Pyro Traveler to be competent as main DPS due to flexibility. I see Pyro Traveler being usable in most pyro-centric teams as a main DPS.

I would guess that C6 Pyro Traveler is closest in strength to Yanfei. However, I would recommend using Pyro Traveler as a Sub-DPS unit instead, as the main DPS route is much more saturated for Pryo units.

    • Strength and traveler are opposite words. travelers will always remain dog shit. Dendro one was decent tho just a bit above mid to be precise.

  2. 5.6 Character

Possibly named Akeffi, Effie or even Écofée based on the Chinese transliteration of the name (爱可菲). Slightly slim appearance with blonde hair, possibly with blue eyes. A Fontainian chef girl.

She forms a team with Furina and Skirk, functioning primarily as an on-field DPS but has off-field functionality. She also has a special charging mechanic. Weapon and element unknown.

    • Her name could even be Escoffie, after Auguste Escoffier, a legendary French chef who modernized and revolutionized French cuisine. He is a chef, and so is she.

Remind me to come back to this post once she is officially revealed (if my guess is correct)

    • A version of her kit I’ve seen is basically a fusion of Charlotte and Chevreuse but freeze (instead of overload for Chev):

E: summons a turret that fires when chars do NA or deal Cryo/Hydro damage (the latter can be off-field). E hits shred Cryo and Hydro Res, 9%/ 5 stacks, requires all Cryo/Hydro team for Res shred. While E is active, Cryo/Hydro teammates gain 5%/ 3 stacks Crit rate when they hit enemies. C1 allows 1 non-Cryo/Hydro teammate and causes Res shred to stack faster.

Q: initial teamwide heal + HoT field. Scales on ATK.

    • Didn’t liben show up earlier and drop stuff about Nod-Krai as well? There’s what a thieves guild in Nod-Krai? Makes me wonder if the thieves will assit us or be antagonistic to us.

      • And there was also the other event with that photographer kid Helka from the place who also did a big lore drop. Ancient civilization that predates the region? Primitive moon tribe that has statues of their god scattered across the place? Nod-Krai is going to be interesting indeed…

        • Right forgot about the kid. Dunno why but I’m getting some cyberpunk vibes from Nod-Krai.

Might be associating Dottore with it, but it would make sense if they did. At least from the most recent themes from the regions.

Either way an ancient but supremely advanced civilization is always neat. Because the moons are giant computers aren’t they? That one fragment in Natlan doesn’t look rocky to me. More synthetic than anything else.

Hopefully this region will be great.
