I’ve had a question on my mind for a while. Is Genshin really a hard game if by playing suboptimally, you’re not even punished much for it? Everyone gets loud about the numbers but it really boils down to “how to earn one extra gacha pull per month”.
Genshin’s “hard content” is essentially a DPS test, it’s not particularly difficult and the only reason you’d need those 10 extra pulls per month are
A) you like collecting
B) you want to get stronger stuff to then do better in abyss
Basically what sauce kun said, it’s a dps test.
Whoever it’s also an artifact test, you have to have good artifacts for your subs/and main dpses. Supports like baizhu aren’t used often I feel.
Even the theater is a dps test, sure if you have friends or luck you’ll be able to do it. But it’s still a dps test.
mauvika onfield did have kinda crazy numbers tbf but no off-field buffs and citali nerfs when they looked like they werent needed (havent really been keeping up so could be wrong) isnt great for a v3.
I started to wonder, considering this new trend: will sznenahya future charas ride animals?
after 4 regions without anything of that, and now natlan with this special exploration mechanics, i found very odd imagining next region with everyone just walking and running as we’ve always done (apart from wanderer or similar things, but for sure different from natlan)
what do you think?
Well considering only 3/4 characters from Fontaine has hp mechanic and only 2/3 have bond of life mechanics I doubt they will, but I wouldn’t mind having characters have mechanics like that.
And sadly MOST of the natlan characters are terrible outside of natlan. The only ones that aren’t are imo is kinich, xilonen and may bat boy and gun bird lady. Again opinion.
Hopefully if they do get characters that mount on say a horse or wolves or whatever it’s not so short.

If I was comparing combat usefulness then all of them are good in diffrent ways, mulani has a very short skill duration outside natlan, you know I know this.
And the fact if we compare her to say mona/ayaka they all perform the same function, mulani is faster sure but again the duration isn’t great. The only one that is the best furina but furina is well, furina.
“Ah but mulani has cons that help with skill duration outside of natlan!” so does basically every natlan character. If I understand correctly on c6 xiolen she basically will always have the skates, neat but not everyone wants to c6 every character or even cares.
However this and the pervious statements are simply opinions.
760 primogems for main event reward instead of 1000?
These devs think everyone is stupid.
It has always been the same in the end, over 8k primogems every patch.
They just separate it on different ways: Story quest, side quest, and exploration.
What a waste for Dawei to say “We will make a change,” although the traitors are on the Genshin team itself.
I hope these traitor devs get caught and fired already.
I track all my currency gains and expenditure, and it turns out the main event had 1,000 after all. 120 from the three quests and 880 from activity/collectable rewards. I guess 760 was just a particular subset, or else it was wrong?
So it’s likely the Lantern Rite event will have a few quests that will bring the total rewards closer to 1,000. But to your point, probably not all the way to 1,000 as usual.
Hm two shield characters, and one is em focused, the last shield character (not counting cons.) was baizhu right? Granny seems solid but that four star covers all bases other than dendro and geo. I actually like this weird character kits. Wasn’t to impressed with bat boy and bird lady. But both are fun at least. Definitely going to watch for these.
And yes the archon is cool, I hope pyro traveler is actually good for once. Only one traveler was good and it because grass is the strongest element in game.
I’m sure will see SOMETHING for the captain but I don’t think he’s going to be playable. No face and no vision. (No face as in no high poly face. No vision seen yet.) but I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he is playable.
TLDR: weird shielders have me interested in play styles.
I know Dain is supposed to be playable what with drip market and the fact he actually has a model, but would hoyo come up with two other elements? I feel like that is the case.
But I can only speculate to what could be, obviously one is abyss. But how would it react? Would it be insanely good like grass? Would the other be celestial? Again only speculations on my part.
Maybe dain would have “abyssal pyro” as his element?
Again just speculation. Maybe captain will have a face reveal and his burst has him wear his mask? I mean the boy Eula has that feature.

No it won’t. Natlan is the Mihoyo’s greatest bait they ever created and it’s a good thing you realized this now.

Doh, ignore me. I got confused and was talking about the current version 5.2 instead of the upcoming version 5.3 event.

As for Cap it would be more interesting if hoyo released some char who wears a mask. It’s mysterious and intriguing

Kuki is one, so it’s definitely possible.
I always forget about her, dunno why. But no you’re right. However she still has an actual face under the mask. You can see it in one of the idles.
(Unironically I do feel bad about forgetting her, she’s a pretty good unit for a lot of teams.)
