Hmmn, seems good to Ningguang, DPS Zhongli, and Geo MC
Not quite, Ningguang doesn’t need more Geo dmg bonus, she needs more crit dmg, geo res/def shred, or a ton of atk buffs.
She’s got enough Geo DMG% from Ascension and Goblet.
Only reason I know this is cuz using Furina with her only ups her dmg slightly with max fanfare. (but more damage with atk% goblet of course…)
Maybe using atk goblet with this set might prove “better” but we’ll just have wait and see
Is it already known whether the 4pc effect will be applied to the elemental skill that triggers it?
yet again hoyo’s crap artifact domains design: two sets, where one is tailor made for a character only (like pavillion for wanderer) while the other one is a bit better; in both situations not worth it resin wise. Here that geo set is for navia only, or ningg if you want, but actually designer for her; while the other one… meh, not bad but we have clam
shimenawa still remain the best domain, or top 3, where to spend resin on; the fact you can use emblem on literally every support /burst support is insane, and a “mistake” that they’ll never do again (and to me personally, 18% atk from shimenawa set is still good to make a 2+2 set)
hence if you don’t get navia, this domain is a very easy skip
(retard hoyo, why not making for example a totally new set like boosting overload and superconduct?)
We all know why they purposely design ass artifact sets, to encourage more time spent on the game.
Otherwise, we would also have a better artifact stat drop rate and features where we can choose one substat to be guaranteed from converting or domain drops. The new artifact update in 4.3 is something that should’ve been in the game since 2.0 (earlier even) and stuff like artifact presets will likely never be a thing until we reach Celestia lmao
This is supposed to be designed for Navia but it’s not really good, only 18% atk + 40% dmg bonus. Comparing to the current new sets (15% NA/CA bonus + 36% crit rate or 70% Element Skill bonus), it’s worse
After the buff to this set (16% -> 20% total) this set is actually better than the other sets, and one of them requires Furina so this set is just better overall for her.
Granted it comes paired with another set that you might not want compared to the other domain.
will it work with off-field albedo
Not too likely, but Albedo has Golden Troupe and Husk already, so he’s OK.
Finally an Artifact Set to revive Ningguang.
This was long due <3
150% from 16% Geo DMG Bonus
if it’s 100% then it’s 32% Geo DMG Bonus ( 16 + 16 )
if it’s 150% then its 40% Geo DMG Bonus ( 16 + 24 )
u need to remember 150% is not from all geo dmg, its just from the artifact bonus.
so:
= 20% + (20% x 150%)
= 20% + 30%
= 50%
This surely must be a typo right? “ The Geo DMG Bonus provided by Heart of Gold will be increased by 150%,” It must be 10 or 15%, 150% is just fucking absurd.
I think it’s 150% of the 16%. So it increases to 24%
It’s 150% from the 16% base, which means +24% Geo DMG. Basically, this set gives you 40% Geo DMG when protected by a crystallize shield
a kit description that’s misleading on the amount of dmg bonus it provides. reminds me to a certain claymore user from sumeru.
This isn’t misleading, it’s worded similarly to the Pale Flame 4pc
It’s 40% total geo dmg bonus
all 3 of them are misleading, with those high numbers there’s always someone confused.
that’s not misleading, that’s failing middle school and basic math
tell that to 90% of the community then, not me.
and imo it’s more of a reading comprehension problem than a math problem; they can perfectly do math, they just take the wrong numbers from the desc
oh and im just calling it out as it is, even if you and I can properly understand these, it’s very clearly purposefully written to mislead the average genshin player into thinking the buff is bigger than what it actually is.
or maybe it’s just clear to me, who knows.
It’s not a 150% Geo Damage boost, the 150% is to the 16% Geo Damage. 16+150%=40% Geo Damage Bonus
Let me guess, Crystallize reaction part is only work with on-field characters
duh. of course.
