Item Story
Quest'arco, crepitante di saette, ha mantenuto il suo lustro nonostante sia stato sommerso dalla densa oscurità. Nell'era della catastrofe venuta dal mare lontano, esso fu l'arma preferita di un abile spadaccino. Da giovane vagò per le montagne e fece una scommessa con una grande Tengu in cui si era imbattuto. Scommise il proprio corpo giovane e forte contro un arco donato dalla Shogun. Quella scommessa riusciva a ricordarla solo ogni tanto, quando era ubriaco. Quando giunse l'alba, aveva vinto tre volte e perso altrettante, quindi la sfida con la Tengu finì in pareggio. La cattiva notizia fu che diventò suo schiavo, ma quella buona fu che vinse quell'arco impareggiabile. "Ammira, Konbumaru, l'abilità dei tengu con l'arco. Guarda e impara!" Gli fu dato questo soprannome ridicolo, ma alla fine riuscì a vedere la vera forma della Tengu. Volò libera tra le nuvole, sprigionando saette con ogni freccia scoccata dell'arco... Era una danza della morte reale e incondizionata, feroce e imprevedibile, raffinata e meravigliosa. Diversi anni dopo non era più un servo, e aveva padroneggiato sia il tiro con l'arco che la scherma. Lo Shogunato lo conobbe tramite una lettera di raccomandazione scritta dalla sua impaziente maestra. Negli anni in cui lavorò sotto la Shogun, le sue abilità nel combattimento migliorarono enormemente, stringendo un gran numero di amicizie e inimicizie. Tuttavia, amava ancora vagare libero. Anzi, col grande arco della Tengu al suo fianco, divenne ancora più impavido. "Che ne dici di fare una scommessa? Uhm, bene. Allora... io scommetto quest'arco. Scommetto sull'arco più potente al mondo che tornerò vivo. Per ora lo lascio qui con te. Se io, Takamine, perderò la scommessa, l'arco sarà tuo. Dopotutto, tu hai ereditato le mie tecniche di tiro con l'arco, quindi potrai farne buon uso. Ma se vinco io..." Quando la catastrofe arrivò con irruenza dal mare lontano, il samurai e la caparbia sacerdotessa fecero una scommessa. Scommisero su quell'arco decorato da incisioni e donato dalla Shogun che lui sarebbe tornato sano e salvo dall'abisso. Quando l'oscuro veleno penetrò nelle profondità della terra e tornò la pace, quello spadaccino non fece ritorno. L'arco donato dalla Shogun fu dato in premio alla sacerdotessa per aver vinto la scommessa. Tempo dopo, nella foresta in cui la Saiguu Kitsune aveva smesso di apparire, nel luogo in cui avevano promesso d'incontrarsi, egli, incespicando, tornò dall'abisso per rincontrare finalmente la sacerdotessa, che ormai non era più giovane. I suoi occhi, spenti e lordi di sangue secco e lacrime, ritrovarono la luce, ma furono trafitti da una rilucente freccia uncinata. |

It’s funny because I quit genshin last year because of this weapon. I hate this weapon so much it’s unbereable. I lost the 50/50 on this ass weapon last year when Nahida came out. Absolute hot garbage. Been sitting on my inventory at LVL 1. Passive is so niche that you are FORCED to pull for someone that you don’t like. Reminder to NEVER pull on a weapon banner UNLESS you have both the characters that can use it. Don’t make my mistake. I wasted hours upon hours of farming primos for this
this is to me the most overvalued weapon in the game, considering it’s for yoimiya and there’s an excellent option called rust, but the real shit about this weapon – and it seems nobody wants to see or admit it – is its trash passive: when yomi has 100% recharge she LOSES part of this bow dmg bonus, so not only you have to find crit value when farming, but also you have to avoid ER because the more you have the more you’re forced to get rid of hit.
As if it wasn’t enough, using shimenawa you need ER to get that set passive, and it’s a massive pile of dogshit considered everything.
How is her rotation with too much ER then? easy to explain: using ER for shimenawa, but when 100% you have to use her burst (dps decrease). While with rust you can totally avoid it, and not using burst at all.
this bow + shimenawa is insanity. And also rust is very close to this weapon, and mostly better with TP with 2 stacks.
If echoes set wasn’t bugged, it will be 100% better than shimenawa for her.
we needed an unconditional passive, like the one we have on jade cutter, but we know it’s ridiculously good to be on genshin such weapon, and they’re aware of not doing that mistake again
Not just you. I saw similar comments like yours before the Honey update purge. I personally hate this on Yoimiya because one, it ironically makes ER stat as a “bad” stat, and two, it doesn’t fit her aesthetic.
At least it’s a good stat stick.
Reminder that the weapon banner is a scam. If you try to get this bow, you will waste all your primos and get the awful catalyst of the failed dendro “archon”. Mihoyo want you to spend real money for 5* weapons (not even needed for the abyss), don’t fall for their scam.
New weapon banner, more “Gacha trash” spam. If you want your constant reminders to be useful, go post it on HoyoLab where more people, including official staff, will see it.

Make sure you blow your FAT primo load on the matching character’s c2. After all you did pull for this trash why not go ALL THE WAY BBY!
