Item Story

This weapon at R5 + hp/dendro/crit c6 Baizhu would actually possibly be disgusting. I’d even say C2 could also almost fully utilize it to its max potential when going sub dos Baizhu.
For C6: More HP than Jadefall’s Splendor, and simply just existing procs his gossamer splices and shields, and his Es unlock HP scaling too which you only need around a second to cast. Due to the sheer amount of hits he does, ER would be a non-issue. Put him in a spread team to make use of the EM passive then boom. C2 is basically the same thing minus the constantly shield proc. Off fielder Baizhu’s BiS would probably be this weapon, especially at C2 +.
I hope I’ll be able to get this weapon and its refinements for my Baizhu eventually.
Will this be good on Neuvillette or nah?
good option and high refine is make this weapon really good on him but the em gonna be a abit useless in some team
potential neuvillette 4* bis? it looks fancy too heh
His rotations will be tight. No more than 10 seconds onfield and you lose the HP. You need to switch immediately after E -> Q -> CA, and only after switching back can you spend the rest of your water droplets on more charged attacks.
There’s definitely potential for a quick swap oriented team.
You can easily switch him out and in again to reset the 10 seconds onfield timer. Even if its only to do a normal and charged attack on Nahida or something like that. I’m sure you can tinker some rotations that allow his maximal field time while keeping the buff up.
just imagine this thing on yelan if it was a bow, those stats are cracked.
pretty sure this will be nerfed or future off field Hp scaling catalysts won’t be able to sell their 5star weapons
rarely will mihoyo nerf a weapon/character’s stats/kit because they could get into a lawsuit about suddenly making a product worse after customers “bought”/pulled for it. it could fall under deceptive marketing tactics.
since they don’t have a competitive content between players, they can’t reason out nerfing it for “balance” purposes.
Nowhere near cracked for a 5*. Aqua Simulacra, for example, has 88.2% CV, while this thing has “only” 73.5% CV. The buffs may look great, but we currently have not a single Catalyst Character who benefits from both EM and HP (except, perhaps, Baizhu, but not much). Contrast this with 20% DMG bonus and 16%HP from R1 Aqua when used by Yelan, and things get interesting.
Still insane for a 4* weapon, easily among the best available due to its CV alone.
Agreed, this weapon’s effect feels like it would work well in the right situation and it’s specific enough that I have to imagine it was designed with a particular Fontaine character(s) in mind.
This weapon may be used by a future character.
DPS Kokomi goes BRRRRR~ hahahaha
very true
Substat is crit rate tho, useless on her xP
you can overcome her CR deficit w this and blizz strayer and crew… :-p
But then you just have wasted 200 CV just to get to the same level others character start, what’s left after wasting like 15 artifact substats? And you still need to make her crit resonable after that lol.
I know is a meme build but she legits deals more damage with non crit build, so it is useless for her.
Perhaps they like wasting resources to achieve what could have been with less investment, after all they’ve pulled kokomi.
not really, dps kokomi usually uses crit build
Wow ! 3 years after her release, there’s still people who think crit build is ok on Kokomi…
I need this for my hybrid Baizhu, ngl.
Seems pretty decent for Baizu, ATK/DENDRO/CDMG build.
Or EM/DENDRO/CDMG, for catalyze teams.
No matter what number you multiply Baizhu’s 0 damage with, you still end up with 0.
hmmm… it is a weapon for a HP multiplicative damage SubDPS, no characters to use its full potencial in the game right now
isn,t it good for kokomi in freeze or hyperbloom teams?
Kokomi does not need any CR whatsoever, and needs no EM in hyperbloom (the electro unit is the trigger). You’re better off with Prototype Amber or Sacfrags.
Can’t wait to have this weapon for my c2 baizhu!
What about Baizhu? He use the EM and the Crit rate, he scales on HP, and he is off field (passive apply with him just existing). This weapon at r5 give him the same HP than the Prototype amber, but with 160 more EM.
He can work with it, but it’s just better going with an HP% weapon and at EM substats.
but a HP weapon will give him the same HP at best, Prototype Amber give him 1% more HP, not crit rato, no em.
You don’t need crit on Baizhu unless you have Fav, his damage isn’t worth building towards unless you’re C6R5. You will struggle with energy on Baizhu with this weapon. The reason Prototype Amber is so amazing is because it restores energy in addition to giving HP%.
I do disagree base on the fact that Spread damage take into consideration both critical rate and EM. Also remember that prototype amber only five him 18 energy which is nice but not a need, and for people that own baizhu c1 that passive is completely usless. Sacrificial Jade r5 give the same HP, significantly more damage and match with his outfit.
