thank goodness they nerfed her, i was so tempted to pull her just for the inferno rider, now i’m even more motivated!
Somebody called her god of war and cry out that she can’t replace Bennett. Yeah just call her god of support then. What’s the problem that god of war being on-field dps?
It seems her Onfield capabilities received a slight nerf for the sake of balancing (she’s still strong) and some of her C0 buffing got cut down to boost her constellations. That’s a bit of a bummer, ngl. I was hoping for some uptime boosts or something.
Addititonally, I’ve noticed a few things in relation to our Natlan DPS units:
Currently, Kinich can only get consistent Cinder buffs from Mav in Burgeon teams. More Pyro onto a Burning aura doesn’t refresh it, so the cinder buff can fall off after the first rotation (assuming the enemy is still alive lol). And Mualani can only use Mavuika in less demanding teams (i.e. XL still holds the crown for off-field Pyro intensity, even with her annoying ER needs). If Mona or Furina hits the scene, Mavuika will have a harder time helping Mualani vape, or at least that’s what we’ve heard about the average team.
Chasca appears to be in an OK spot, but with a caveat. No normal attacks means she relies on Nightsoul (or extra supports like Ororon/Citlali) to battery Mavuika, so that’s a bit worrying. I don’t know if she can handle the battery stuff by herself, but I don’t believe she can. On the bright side, Mav should be a good off-field dps for Chasca! Better than XL, certainly. Pyronado’s position is weird for Chasca’s flight, so Mav should be able to hit enemies more consistently.
God of war, that almost always pick some Natlanians to fight Abyss, while herself staying in Natlan and support her people and defending the flame. And even when she fought Abyss, she was still providing off-field fireballs from the sky to help her people. What’s the problem that this gof of war being off-fielder/support? Where is at least one contradiction?
There’s no hype for her.
All archons normally get 30+ pages of comments. If I remember correctly, the record holder was Raiden Shogun with 50+ pages of comments before the purge.
But Fraudika can’t even get half of engagements. Understandable though, because this so called God of War can’t even replace Bennett. Sad, really sad.
On top of her kit being pretty much nothing new other than another busted pyro DPS, there are also other factors like:
– Player interest on genshin has been decaying year after year
– Natlan has had a very lukewarm reception
– Mavuika design from the get go also had very a mixed reception
– Genshin is 4 years old so everything new doesn’t hit as well as before
I wonder how things will go going forward, especially when the Tsaritsa makes her appearance.
We are less than 3 weeks into beta, a lot of new comments have been posted today alone so her hitting 25+
still possible, if something actually happens (she hasn’t received many changes at all yet)
Also the characters who get lots of comments tend to be the ones who generate the most controversy
Dehya I think holds the current record since the site was wiped, Raiden was doom posted, Furina was somehow doomposted, neuvilette I ignored during beta but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was also doomposted

I wanna use her in both capacities so what weapons would be best for her? I have R1 Serpent Spine, R1 Verdict, R2 WGS, R5 Mailed Flower (I wanna use her with Mualani, Emilie, Xilonen and for main dps Furina, Bennett, Xilonen)
AFAIK, if you can get consistent reactions, Mailed Flower should be a great choice for Furina and Vaporize in general.
Stick with WGS or Serpent Spine for the Mualani team, but it depends on your stats. Serpent if you need more Crit Rate, while WGS also buffs Emilie’s damage. Can’t go wrong tbh!
Verdict is an OK stat stick, and Xilonen makes it better but I think your other options suit her more. As I recall, Verdict’s crystallize stacks affect skill damage, and vanish once you deal skill damage. Meaning you would need to pickup more shards for more stacks. With no consistent crystallize generation from Xilonen, it’s not really worth it over WGS or Serpent imo.
As far as a definitive choice, I’d lean with WGS. Buffs self and allies, don’t need to worry about losing stacks, don’t need consistent reactions or Crystallize to validate the passive either. R2 just makes it even better.

I’m somewhat disappointed she’s mainly an on-fielder but she’s still strong off-field so I can accept it
I hope the beta gives her more off-field utility (abilities like her A4 which benefit both her on-field playstyle and teammates when she’s off-field are good)
